This part was purely a proof of concept, so a v2 is under way, that is 30% smaller. Also a version for the Rear pod, as a test

It would be nice to see a damped and non-damped front end side by side in slow mo.

So its not going to “take up” more force than the mass of damper. So “slamming” it from that High up was just to show that it functions. Its meant to “absorb” very small vibration, and that does not translate well into film
So you will not be able to see any real difference with the naked eye, as the mass Can not counter act the whole weight of the front end drooped from that hight.

And sure joint forces are always a good idea, the Shell choice vid will also have an advanced counterpart, where I try to explain how to setup the car for the body and so on 👍

Can you do a Battery (for racing) tutorial.. how to maintain them, best ones to use, best practice to charge them for race day? Over charge them? Double charge them? (NiMh)

Have to ask, 1) what happened to the follow-up video (ie. the one that would have covered the rear damper), and 2) what happened to any new videos from you (ie. the last upload was from 7-8 months ago)?

Both are related to me changing to a job, that require me to spend a lot more time at said job.

@@WobbelyTable Unfortunately/Fortunately, that's one many of us can understand. As a Professional Chauffeur, when I transitioned from a Class-C driver (sedans & SUVs), to a Class-B driver (minibuses & motorcoaches), my workload increased, and the UA-cam channel I had started kinda languished. However, I recently moved (500+ miles), which has me transitioning into a different type of driving role (will still be driving motorcoaches), and I'm hoping it provides the time to stay building my channel.
Here's to hoping you, too, will have time to start rebuilding your channel. The info you presented was excellent...and, I am sure there are others who would greatly appreciate more from you. Whether, or not, you choose to start it back up, I wish you the best. 🤙🏼

    What front wheels are these?

I would like to see wow the front bounces less with the mass damper compared to the same car without one. Show that comparison in slow mo...

I posted this is the Redit group that I found it in (would you mind joining so you can share these yourself? reddit / MiniZ )
I love the idea behind this, I was thinking to myself "i need a slow-mo" which you did do and it shows the proof of concept, however i would need to see a side by side comparison with and without to see if its actually doing anything, Then I would love to see if different weights change it further. I suspect the spring would need to be in a fine balance with the weight to ensure its actually helping the car. If you were to do a side by side maybe using some hard drift tires to exaggerate things? Either way it would be cool to have discussions in the reddit group.

Im not on reddit 😄 but: So its not going to “take up” more force than the mass of damper. So “slamming” it from that High up was just to show that it functions. Its meant to “absorb” very small vibration, and that does not translate well into film
