I know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Hector Otis thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Very intriguing and deep synth. Thanks for the run-through. That said, in impatient hands, it seems to be much easier to create noise than music. I get the impression that with some understanding of music theory, a lot of fine tuning, a midi controller and delay/reverb, this thing will really produce some amazingly musical sounds, in the traditional sense. Thanks again!
Well, I am not going to be kind with this. I 've watched many demos about this new subharmo and nowhere I could go " wow" that's a hell of a machine, don't get me wrong I totally respect Moog but here I don't feel inspired, it's just not my thing, it will make other one happy I guess.
Eric Balcon yes....I think the mother 32 sounds much better and has that mini moog sound and an aggressive edge , I really like this form factor better though and the sequencer looks fun but have yet to hear a demo that sounds great , moog must have not used the same oscillator build ......
JVMC - I was never interested in the M32, there are so many decent analog synths out there and most have two oscillators. But the Subharmonicon is way more interesting to me with the highly individual sequencer. Each to their own.
This is by far the best, most lucid, demonstration and explanation of the Subharmonicon that I've watched recently. At that price, though, it's not something that would be useful to me. Also, it seems like a lot of tweaking for a limited amount of fabness.
I called my councilor at SAA. That’s Synth Addicts Anonymous He said..... Lol kid buy one. So much for willpower..... I ordered one off Sweetwater, why? They have gotten a lot of my money and never ever left me down. I deal in trade so I know what reputation means. SWEETWATER takes its customers serious....think I’m a shill? Nope. Just enjoying fair business intercourse with a good company.... Y’all store moved my studio from 1983 to now ..... Watch my channel, its all your gear anything less than 3 months, that’s most of it.... I play fir fun, not for $, so I’m not just leeching. It’s about just playing for me and sharing that curiosity. Run a Filter Y’all. 😉👍
You mentioned previously that you were a teacher. I had no idea how that would translate into your videos, but I’m glad I gave it a chance and watched everything. You are really great at explaining and demonstrating. Thank you so much for the quality video and for the passion you clearly have. I just placed my order today! Time to learn, right??
Great vid! Ya say at the end deeper dive, absolutely. Would love to see you expand on what’s possible connecting the Arturia or any other midi keyboard/sequencer
I would have been helpful to mention the inspiration for the Subharmonicon. Friedrich Trautwein invented an electronic musical instrument in 1930 called The Trautonium which used subharmonic oscillators.
The manual says the Clock can go from 20 bpm to 3000 bpm, which is 50 hz. I'd love to hear how things sound at that speed. Almost like low growls I'd imagine.
Help! How does the 4 rhythm knobs correlate with each other? Lets say you have the left most knob at 3 oclock and the second left at 12 oclock, both running seq 1, does the second knob divide the first knob, og does it add another division of the original tempo to the sequence? Cant wrap my head around this
Hi ALohne. Each of the four Rhythm knobs sends a "next step" trigger to either (or both) of the two Sequences (when either or both buttons are lit under each Rhythm knob). The four Rhythm knobs don't actually interact with each other (without any alteration via patching); it's that multiple Rhythms each send their "next step" trigger to the same Sequence, so... if you have two Rhythms going to the same Seq and (very important), they are repeating at different rates, you'll get a polyrhythm. If the two Rhythms are set to the same value, it will only sound like one, since they're both triggering at exactly the same moments. One other thing. Every Rhythm knob (when engaged) also triggers the Filter and Amp Envelopes. Since all six of the oscillators are sharing a single Filter and Amp, every blip from every enabled Rhythm knob will affect all six oscillators' filtering and amping together as a single unit. Hope that helps. -_Daniel_
I really want to like this i have one on back order. But there’s been like two good vids on it. Maybe the reviewers are stale, or maybe the machine is. I cant tell right now. Maybe I’d rather take another dfam instead.
Nokan Music Don’t hope...... Just do it....I did, can’t wait for it to show up..... This thing is brilliant in ways people are only just getting. I run a kit that includes a Dual DFAM synced to Mother 32, so I can’t wait.. I show that kit on my channel, it’s about sharing stuff, I don’t sell anything or ask either. I just enjoy listening folks playing around with instruments for fun.
This sounds to me like a bad execution of a good idea. A bit too weird for me which certainly is saying something. Please do a deep dive and at least attempt to get something resembling music from this device. and I will reconsider my decision to pass this by.
This seems to be a great instrument in the hands of people who can get the most out of it. Sadly, my attempts were no better than the awful racket at 23:30 :(
Moog put that up in a vid. I was not impressed by that vid, because it does not really show anything other than patching them togther. But this is bangin' and I'm reaching for my Visa card now.
Hi Mark. Each of the four Sub Oscillators can have their frequency changed individually by either knob turns and/or Voltage Control (sweeping through all of 16 "undertones"). Thanks for watching!
Hi Valdis Krebs. There is a Quantizer that can lock the frequency results of the two sequencers to either a 12-step (Chromatic) Scale, in either Just Temperament or Equal Temperament. It can also do 8-note scales (Just or Equal) that can be any mode (Ionian through Locrian) depending on what note you start on. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
Sweetwater Thank, Daniel! You always have great demos .... would love to see a deeper dive including how the SubH can be played with other synths. The SubH seems to produce interesting foundations to improvise above. Maybe a duet with the Theremini??? 🤔

@Hector Otis it worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
@Damien Coleman no problem xD
Daniel Fisher could convince me to buy water while I’m drowning.
Thank you Gershon. This is now my favorite UA-cam comment ever. -_Daniel_

Each to their own.
Really cool. Not $700 cool, but definitely cool. I'll keep an eye out on the used market maybe.
Dude,
Another great video.
Great demo.
Bravo 👍
Literally every channel in my feed published a video on this product at once lol.
I just got sweetwater, reverb, and Andrew huang
Yeah, Moog really spammed the usual UA-cam suspects on this one. Bo Beats, Loopop, Perfect Cicuit, Gaz Williams, Sonic State, et al.
Lol. I watched all the youtubes. bad snacks has no idea what to do with hers. she says "I've been wanting to get into modular"...…...poor dear
I vote for that deeper dive, please. Also, how did Mr. Fisher manage to get his shirt buttoned up so fast at the end?
"It's not for everyone" = "It's not for me"
Subharmonics definitely happen in nature - not often, but that’s definitely a thing!

Didn't know they made airplane control systems for sale
Is too for everybody! That's cool.
If PeeWee Herman had a synth this would be it! Now boys and girls heres a song I wrote on my Subharmonicon!
"Heh! Heh!" -_Daniel_

The Collider works wonders a good pair up there.

I think lookmumnocomputer shows its droning capability off. the DFAM also goes into audio rate, something crazy like 10k bpm.
It literally becomes an oscillator
Thought it was odd how the presenter was trying to talk people OUT of getting this wonderfully cool new synth. Different approach for sure. 😂
Hi Markus. It's important to know, in advance, if a product is right for the styles of music you want to make. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
@@sweetwater It's actually very respectable!
@@sweetwater Hey Daniel, it's all good. It's just that I've seen probably all of your demos but don't remember any warnings or disclaimers. Thanks.

it’s actually incredibly musical, check the “Music as Living Matter” video made entirely on the unit.

loved the microtonal opening!
How was the Arturia midi controller connected to the Subharmonicon pls?
Ummm...it's limitless!
Hopefully it will drive the dfam price down
I wonder how this, the dfam and the mother work together 🤔

It is brand new type of synthesis. Dividive Synthesis
Michael Konstantinov It’s actually based on concepts used in early electronic music, back before Moog and Buchla.
@@benthies9531 We can go deeper and found it undertone series

its 2 oscillator, not 6. it has a threeway split signal on each oscillator...

these crazy units only ever sound great with delay..

Just because you’re a keyboardist doesn’t mean you should be the go to guy on synths.
Very cool synthesizer! New 2020 design! I like it!
