- The atmosphere reminds me of Alien: Isolation. Gameplay is deeper than expected and interesting to play. Aliens: Dark Descent is a unique game - had a good time reviewing it.

Don't know how this one could slip through, though. Alien was the my no1 franchise during my childhood even before Star Trek and Star Wars.

It’s a great game. It takes a bit to get used to but it’s great at building tension and satisfying to play through. There is some jank for sure, but I look at it as room to grow for the next game.
That's how I see it, too. The next installation could grow into an all time classic. I'm also very excited about mods for this one.
Great game, certain levels just bring dread in a good way. My only complaint is the level progression and some perks associated with some classes that are next to pointless.
Yes, the perks need some love and balancing. Some are just too good and some next to useless.
I don't know how moddable the game is - we might get some awesome stuff in the future. I can imagine some overhauls and a sandbox style campaign.
@@WatchMysh like the tecker’s second perk where they can upgrade the turrets. The buff only last 30 seconds for a tools pack. The buff should be permeant till the turret is picked back up or buffed to 3 minutes like the flares.
