I like to think that Verlaine and Connor weren’t killed by the Xenomorph that got onboard. They detected it when it got on board and sealed the bridge. Then Ripley happened to run into it and escaped out the airlock, sucking the alien into space in the process. That’s when the Torrens powered back up and picked her up while she was adrift
this makes a lot of sense and im hoping its what truly happened lol, i cant say im necessarily mad by the ending, but its somewhat disappointing after doing so many missions for the end result to be that. this is what im gonna tell myself from now on! lol
@@raijyn2452 I didn’t even know it was three days, but that’s easier to explain than you think. The Torrens was damaged, and they’d no doubt have to make repairs before powering up again. By that point Ripley could have been who knows how far away after being blown at high speed out the airlock. Could have taken them that long to find her.
I mean, the only other ship and station in the area exploded and burned up respectively, and no other ship was noted to be in the area so it seems like the Torrens is the only option
I loved that deleted scene in Aliens, with Burke explaining to Ripley that Amanda died, as I felt it really gave you much more of an understanding when Ripley goes into "Mother Mode", so to speak, at the end of the movie. However, I'll admit, I always hoped that it was another company cover-up. That somehow Amanda was still alive, maybe in stasis like Ripley was, still fighting the Wayland-Yutani-Alien threat. Sure, it wouldn't have been very practical, but I thought it would be cool. :)
I got a story! That involves Amanda surviving ... returning to Earth... on the Torrens. See that last bit was a dream of her's... she got knocked out by the tether line and imagined the Aliens at the end. Torrens picked her up... in my story... she asks them if they saw the aliens outside there... They didn't... (as there were none with her). So her story about the rest of the ship (with the aliens) comes under question. She returns to Earth and tries to pursue legal action against Weyland. Meets her "to be husband" (time lapse if this is a film)... They lose their fight but decided to infiltrate Weyland Yutani to get any and all communication records related to Sevastapol and/or Nostromo as they can find. Encountering some Weyland secret Androids along the way... So they use a "Replicant" (from Blade Runner) to help them sneak in. They find records coming from "Origae-6" from a Level 25 Weyland Yutani. Highest level ever! That's what David's rank was (according to the books) ... a level 25. Apparently, he's the one who designed Ash and got him to find a low key truck to swing by where the Juggernaut ship went down (also sent by David but it failed to reach Earth). They decide to follow the trail and go to Origae-6... which at that time is now considered to be a 'dead end" since no ship ever returns from there. When they get there... before they wake from Cryo-sleep, David, down below, hacks into the ship to try and crash it. He fails. Instead he's able to keep them in cryo sleep and orbit ... indefinitely! Fast forward past Aliens.... Ellen wakes up... sweating... in a white bedroom and bed. Holding her wrist... Hicks, wakes beside her... "Which dream was it this time? Prison or the Army base?" She says.. a bit of both... He takes her wrist and says..."Well I only see a #1 here..." ;) Point is... that opening sequence just took Alien 3 and 4 and put them into a "nightmare" slot for canon-sake. Cameo by Newt... all grown up and haven been adopted by the "Hicks". She inherited the house and called "mommy" to let her know that the P.I. she hired to find Amanda's grave stopped by looking for them with some information. That leads to Ellen going to one of the moons of Saturn (the actual launch place of the Covenant) and figuring out that Amanda and her husband and some others rented a ship from there and went towards "Origae-6". So, without hesitation she follows the trail... Ends up rescueing her daughter from cryo-sleep... and together they go down to deal with David (in Walter's body) and his horde of Aliens. Of course the surprise ending is they do need saving themselves...and... its Hicks! Sweeps in to save the day and everyone flies off into the sunset... er...sunsets... I mean... Let's face it. Burke lied. He would have known about Sevastapol and wouldn't have wanted Ellen to know her daughter got mixed up in the same mess while she was in cryo-sleep. The above I described would be two separate films if done. It wouldn't require Alien Isolation to be made into a film... but that would be nice because the original plan was to have Marlowe try and blow up the reactor (instead of the plot hole they used involving his own ship). I got bits of script written detailing some nice scary scenes for such a film. But Amanda's 2nd film would involve more Androids and a Mission Impossible type setup... only some nightmares or flashbacks would show aliens. 3rd film brings them ALL together. So that final film would be a legitimate sequel to: Prometheus/Covenant Alien/Aliens Alien Isolation/ To Be named. 6 films would lead to one final film. However.... One film could squeeze in there... see. David uploaded himself into Walter's body and that body went to the Covenant. Leaving the original David.... self-healing. So there's that.... There's also room to explain how the Juggernaut loaded with eggs (that David grew.... was on its way to Earth and how it crashed... also.. how Walter (David) would have known that it crashed. Important stuff.
We can't be 100% sure that is her daughter in the photo that Burke shows her. I mean, technically, yes, that's her daughter in the photo because Jim Cameron all but says she is in the director commentary. But for imagination's sake it's fun to keep in mind that Burke is a stone cold sociopath and liar. It wouldn't be beyond him to tell Ripley that her daughter is dead if he thinks that will serve his purpose. (Because otherwise if Ripley thinks her daughter is alive then that's all she'll want to do; try to find her).
Just beat the game 10mins ago for the 2nd time after 7 years. And while I did enjoy the whole game, I felt like the ending was too…abrupt. We make it back to the Torrance after that treacherous journey and barley surviving, another Xeno pops out last minute, Amada airlocks herself and the Xeno out into space, done.
In fact there's no queen in this universe, because it's Ridley Scott's version of the Alien. All that movies like aliens and others that was created after original are just different. If our "specimen" was one of the aliens from the second movie, we'd kill that easily with just single shotgun shot, like those marines form the movie, but we can't - it's the perfect organism and of course, it's immortal. Those eggs is just a process of metamorphose for those who was kidnapped, or killed by alien. Just watch the director's cut and leave alone that Cameron's shit
I'm all for another Amanda Ripley game, but there isn't going to be a happy ending because, if the developers respect the history and lore, Ellen Ripley died on Fiorina 161 having never been reunited with her daughter. Anyway, I never looked for a happy ending in the alien's universe, it's gritty and dark, and the best one can do is simply survive and resist the Corporation's immoral machinations. Again, that's just my personal opinion and doesn't mean everyone else should subscribe to it.
@@bugrademir2319 Amanda still died at the age of 66, never reuniting with her mother. Ellen would find out that she had been in stasis for decades and missed out on the majority of her daughter's life.
@kev butterworth Basically in the canon she is dead, however there is a claim made by husband that she isn't actually dead but just in cryo sleep. However this hasn't been explored nor confirmed, and so as far as well all know and how the story currently stands, she died at age 66 without having seen her mother ever again.
Ok so hear me out….what if Amanda Ridley didn’t die. What if Either Amanda faked her death to avoid the Company or The Company Lied about her death to deceive Ellen Ripley. And what if Alien 3 never happened and we get a direct sequel to Aliens like Neil Blompkamp intended a few years ago. 🤔 …there’s always a way. 😌
I always thought the final alien encounter inside the Torrens was a nightmare. Afterwards, we see her drifting in space briefly, unconscious, and a light shines on her. It makes the most sense that the light came from the Torrens & Verlain was fine. And there was no other ship in the area or that could’ve gotten there before Amanda’s suit ran out of air. Had no idea there was a follow-up game.
Not related to this video but.. I'm rewatching Aliens right now and a thought hit me.. How do we know Burke wasnt lying about Amanda? What are the odds of Ellen floating through space for 57 years only to wake up 2 years after Amanda died at age.. 66?.. Burke needs Ellen to go back to the colony with him so why would he tell her that her daughter is still waiting for her on earth or somewhere in space..
@@berryblue. Everything you just said was already stated in the video, we know Amanda survived and the video went on to explain what happened after the events of Isolation. But at the end of the day she died at the age of sixty six and never reunited with her mother.
Han Liu Thanks for the information! But, damn, those infestations must be annoying AF. I had no idea termites had multiple queens. Maybe the Xenomorphs have multiple queens if the population is under extreme threat.
Some species of Ants can also have multiple queens in a hive, so its not unheard of in the world of communal insects. Fun fact, the queen of a colony is not really in charge of anything in an ant colony, she just lays the eggs, decisions made about the colony are made in a weird communal worker decision, were the whole of a colonies workers slowly decide to undertake an action.
@@silentecho92able I learned recently that most of the team involved in Alien Isolation moved on to make "Observation", very good game in my opinion... But yeah it would be amazing to see what would happen in a sequel... The storyline they came up with has so much to explore...
@@silentecho92able I wouldn’t mind fighting hoards of aliens as long as there is a good balance with horror like Alien Isolation and action. It would basically reflect how awesome and action horror pack Aliens 1986 was.
@@silentecho92able well everything is already set up in the first game, surely? Just use the same ai and gameplay but a different story in a new location? It's not like they have to start from scratch, clearly they don't want to do it because they had to reduce the price because ign gave it a shitty write up.
I feel the ending was supposed to play out in the manner that it did because it follows the theme of the gameplay. Everything is uncertain, nowhere is truly “safe”, and something can always go wrong or chance in a instant. It literally reminds us of this aspect with this slap to face right as we approach the bridge of the Torrens. Now what happened to Valerian and how the Alien got aboard magically before Rip did is another one of those classic Alien moments.
If an empress is present, there will be multiple Queens. The empress makes queens using her own DNA. if a colony needs to be expedited, the empress will use multiple Queens to produce 2 or 3 times as many eggs in a short period of time. Afterwards, the empress will send the queens out to far regions of the planet and have them establish their own colonies.
No more retconns; how about a solid sequel post-Alien 3. You may not like the history (Alien 3) but its there whether people want to acknowledge it or not. My personal opinion on the matter, of course.
I don’t like the game mechanics of Gears but I hope the Alien game is good, hopefully not that weird 3rd person perspective from gears which honestly I have never gotten on with.
@@D4rkMatter1975 off topic real quick the original 360 era gears of war games are amazing, though I've only played the first two and the hd remaster of the first game, but I've seen people play 3 and judgment, and I can confirm that they're superior to the Xbox One era gears of war games.
I don't see any reason why there should be 3 queens in one nest for the xenomorph species but if the writers saw the xenomorph hive structure as wasp like then ants, wasp do have multiple queens while ants only have 1. We had a few stories of queens killing each other for control of the hive Aliens genocide, Aliens DNA war, Aliens vs Predator extinction, and the one you said Theory of Alien propagation.
I would like to see a story explaining how Amanda lived to old age while no doubt being on WY's hit list with everything she knows. Gov't protection perhaps? Maybe came up with a way to ensure they don't try to come after her? Are there any stories from WY's perspective? I feel like there has to be more than just greed driving their actions. Would the potential profit really make up for the damage and destruction caused while trying to get a Xenomorph?
Man feel bad that after all the crap she went through she was never able to find her mother on top of that who would have guessed or all the things she overcame and survived that cancer would be her downfall
Thank you for going so in depth with this, this was facinating. as for the three queen theory if these aliens had been survivors of other incidents then perhaps they decided it better for their survivaly to have more that one queen? The Xenomorph species is always adapting and changing itself physically so why not mentally?
Just finished the game - it was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely be doing a hard/nightmare mode playthrough eventually. We definitely need a sequel!!
A tad late to the party here, but with how they started writing David from Covenant experimenting with the creatures on the Engineer homeworld and how that movie leaves off combined with his full classified knowledge of planets etc, it's feasible that there's a connection here that simply needs to be explored.
I couldn't agree more this game was one of the all time greats and as far as single player linear campaign game play goes its a total jewel, if they didn't make a sequel to this I would be super super disappointed! I feel like the developers, or rather producers wondered if it would be worth it to do another but so many more people know.of it now years, after it's release because of UA-cam playing it etc.. I think a well done sequel would kill!
The mobile game is tough as shit to play, but the game itself is homage to the C64 game with the FNAF element of closing off doors to prevent you from getting killed by the xenomorph. Though it's value as a game is 0.99 at least because it's just not so big of a game and the RNG is ridiculously unfair at times.
The first time I played this game I thought that Amanda Ripley died in the end and that she was just floating in space but I played the game again and I noticed that when she is floating in space she moves a little bit so she is still alive. So the Alien didn't kill her it just knocked her out and then they rescued her.
Don't know if you include the novels but Alien Colony Wars has an alternate ending to Amanda than her death. It talks about the official story being that she died but the actual story was she was terminally sick and in a cryo pod until her lover could find a cure.
There's one major plot hole (or perhaps it's meant to be a RetCon like the flight recorder is) in Alien Isolation regarding the "evidence" that someone was there before Marlow and his crew. In the game we see containers and other items, which have "the same name as on the flight recorder 'nostromo' ", but Dallas, Lambert and Kane did not have any such items with them in the film. They have weapons of some type with them early on which go missing by the time they are carrying Kane to the Nostromo. The only thing actually shown in the film is the winch rigging that is used to lower Kane into the egg chamber. But on the flip side Alien Isolation if considered canon with the movies closes a plot hole in Aliens; namely why the planet engineers didn't find the beacon when they began settlement of the planet "20 years" before (the time of Aliens film ). It's because Marlow disabled it 22yrs before they got there and they would not have known about the ship until fed the coordinates by Carter Burke from The Narcissus' flight recorder.
Aliens director's cut or Alien 2 did have a deleted scene where Ripley is sitting in a holographic room. Reading a notebook computer on her daughter's life. She died single without kids. It seemed strange to me.
I think the idea of having ( 3 QUEEN ALIENS ) in one hive is a cool fresh idea to add to the overall story, maybe those aliens from that brood would be deeper connected to each other, part of their evolution maybe they have more of a coordinated mode of attack or something who knows but I liked it !
When it comes to different ant hives they usually fight to the death. However sometimes, for some reason I don't know, they can come to a peace agreement and have multiple queens. So having multiple alien queens is not unrealistic so therefore I find it pretty cool as well.
@@Cyberlord_Blaze I think ants and bees are amazing how they build massive colonies and when they come Into contact with other colonies they either come to some sort of agreement and no one dies or they wipe each other out !!! Truly fascinating
why the hell have they not made a sequel yet its been its been 8 years? did it not sell that good back then? i just played it for the first time this week and i loved it
TO BE HONEST! as much as this is cool and all, i think she should have been saved returned to earth and lived out her life. where in aliens, ripley sees that her daughter died of an old age.
I have read this book at home, I thought it was strange that the three queens was a rare thing, but then I was thinking the three who act as one. This whole thing had me thinking about the Robotech Masters.
With so many writers to this franchise, theres no consistency. Why would Working Joes have guns? They are workers hence the name. It's in the game they are responding to trespass violations and one way to stop trespassing is to kill all humans. Computers do not understand how that is unreasonable
bro let me tell you, that you got a part wrong, the sevastopol station was destroyed on purpose, at the end of the game we control amanda and go up to the bridge, after that she starts the self-destruction process, the plan was not to destroy the ship for scientific purposes, but Amanda was compelled to do so! other than that the video was great, I managed to understand everything even though I'm from Brazil, good job man 👍
The thing is that no matter what story she's in Amanda Ripley will always survive because we know that she dies as an old woman! It takes all of the suspense out of it, she's as protected as a superhero!
It sounds like they will tolerate multiple queens if one of them is the dominant one. Sounds tricky but then you would have a truly gigantic hive. You would think they would swarm into separate hives, but there may be some survival value in remaining hidden in one really good location.
The idea of an Alien Queen having up to 4 Royal Guards close in size but more ferocious than the Alien Queen in separate pods surrounding the Queen has been explored and used in other Alien comics based on the Alien's home planet with Ripley, Hicks, and Newt, in the comics Aliens: Accounts Of The Earth War as well as Aliens: After the Earth War.
What about that alien pilot on that one planet that Marlow and his team were with? That thing was huge and was the only one of its kind that I've seen in the storyline.
prometheus is terrible. there are incompatibilities between movies, so not all movies can be canon, thank goodness. HR Giger’s idea was that it was an enslaved biomechanical hybrid, which is way more interesting than Prometheus’s boring big blue men in suits. like any ip, pick the parts you like.
I've just completed the game and man what a roller coaster...I think its a tad bit long and some glitches appear but wow still what a game. One of the best horror games ever. The ending seems abit abrupt so I thought we'd get a Alien 2. Hopefully one day...maybe Amanda with the plasma rifle and grenade launcher...one can wish right ?!
I'm not actually that familiar with the entire aliens franchise and it's extended works, but what I can say is I've watched a lot of stuff on ants in the past few months from a channel called antscanada, anyway he talks about the differences in ants as well as things about raising them. It's actually a very relaxing channel to watch for some reason even though ants freak me out... getting sidetracked though part of the reason I wanted to make this comment was based on there are actually types of ants that have multiple Queens. there's a technical term for that type of setup and I forget what kind of ant species they were but I do remember that he said that they were very niche in a way because of that. in fact if they're the same species of ant that particular one will actually integrate new Queens into its makeup to bolster its ranks instead of kill them. I just wanted to throw that out there that why you may have similar species of creatures they can sometimes develop different behaviors and completely change outside of what's considered the norm. I hope all this reads okay because I'm at the mercy of speech to text
Being a enormously outspoken alien franchise fan I believe that I reserve the right to make a opinion that is beyond most reproach concerning if multiple Queens should rule a hive, and now with that said I believe that since Dark Horse Comics is the one that created the entire post movies alien stories and the queen Empress alien, then yes I do believe that multiple Queens can rule over a single Hive so long as one of them is an empress, because of the way that a queen goes from being a queen to a Queen empress they're by dominating all the other surrounding lesser Queen's then yes if she would like to have two other queens in her hive then it's more than possible for such a thing to take place, after all in order for an empress to be an empress she has to prove her dominance over all other Queens in that region of the world and if such a queen is that powerful than she would have no problem whatsoever permanently subjugating to lesser Queens to serve her in that hive, that being said if the queens are as intelligent as we have all been led to believe then she would know by having to lesser Queens permanently under her rule in her hive would make for An Extremely Loud proclamation of her power to the other queens in the world.
I think some comic writers take too much liberty with the concepts they are working with. I saw one comic that had a facehugger barely graze someone's face and then chestburster for no reason. They get pretty stupid with it at times
I don't think the species of alien in the three-queen hive was ever specified. I don't know if the rules apply to every single species of xenomorph but I think it the behavioral traits vary in different types, because if you look at different types of aliens in the movies/games, each type has its own specific set of behaviors and they all act differently, attacking and hunting with specific strategies. Maybe this could carry over to the behaviors of various species of alien queens. Just a theory
I like the idea of the 3 queens if they're all from the same host like triplets or if they're doing so out of a means of survival. They're coordinating like one mind and do so to keep the high of alive at all costs. My guess is desperate times desperate measures and if their minds are very smart then 3 smart minds are better than one when connected and all have the same goal.
I think the idea of three queens sharing one hive doesn’t make sense, it just looks good in illustration and also triples the threat. I would think in that situation you would have three queens and each of their brood, each brood loyal to the queen that spawned them. Let’s take a situation like in aliens and some human comes down and threatens to kill a queens eggs if she is attacked. It’s in that queens best interest to let the human go but it’s not in the best interest of the other queens. That would cause chaos for the hive to have multiple queens who have their own interests which would eventually come to odds with another. That’s why the one queen rule makes most sense, one team working together in the interest of their queen.
The ending kinda sucked. Super hard. You get this big cutscene where you get blasted off the ship but just barley make it back on, only to have an alien stowaway, just like her mother. But unlike her mother, she goes out with it. But by that point, it’s implied that even those on the Torrens are dead. So it’s like all that work was for nothing. Not only do we not survive (in game) but we don’t even kill all the aliens. That’s thanks to someone *we try to stop.*
The song is from the 1930's and was a suggestion from Sigourney Weaver herself on how Ripley would calm herself down to focus and then defeat the alien. That song also cost a lot of money for the studio to use it, the rights.

There are ants that can have multiple queens and make super colonies. It goes to say that eventually the ever mutating and evolving Xenomorph would eventually have a nest or two that would try to make super colonies with multiple queens.
I'm glad that we didn't have a final battle against the queen because it wouldn't have fit with the overall feeling of the game. Isolation felt more like the first Alien, and I think every choice they made was perfect. Although, it would've be pretty cool to at least see the Queen.

Took me NINE years to finish this game. Kept starting it then getting infuriated with how overly hard it was. But after Romulus i had to give it another crack. This time i went right through in a few weeks at an hour a night. It's definitely one of the scariest games ive ever played, but the fear is getting killed waaaaay after your last save. If you've just saved it your fear factor is 100% gone. It builds the longer you go without the save 😂
Between the video game and the comic books, it filled the gap that was missing in the movie Aliens. Amanda Ripley had a life. Fought aliens, corporate corruption, got married (had kids), and died an old age before her mother was found alive.

Then Ripley happened to run into it and escaped out the airlock, sucking the alien into space in the process. That’s when the Torrens powered back up and picked her up while she was adrift
this makes a lot of sense and im hoping its what truly happened lol, i cant say im necessarily mad by the ending, but its somewhat disappointing after doing so many missions for the end result to be that. this is what im gonna tell myself from now on! lol
If that was the case, why did it take Verlaine and Connor so long to rescue Ripley from drifting in space for three days?
@@raijyn2452 I didn’t even know it was three days, but that’s easier to explain than you think. The Torrens was damaged, and they’d no doubt have to make repairs before powering up again. By that point Ripley could have been who knows how far away after being blown at high speed out the airlock. Could have taken them that long to find her.
I mean, the only other ship and station in the area exploded and burned up respectively, and no other ship was noted to be in the area so it seems like the Torrens is the only option
This would very plausible because i feel like the chances of another random spaceship finding them would just be bad writing
in the aline movies the bring their kids with them which is a very bad idea
How long after Isolation does the second Alien film take place?
Prison or the Army base?"
She says.. a bit of both...
He takes her wrist and says..."Well I only see a #1 here..." ;)
Point is... that opening sequence just took Alien 3 and 4 and put them into a "nightmare" slot for canon-sake.

Theory: all three queens were calm with each other because they were all under the orders of an unseen Queen Matriarch
Or maybe they are queens from different hives that decided to make one huge colony just like ants.
or maybe they were just lesbians
Alien King polygamist
@@samuelwright7270 lmao
If you can see the light, you can understand Amanda didn't die. Somebody rescued.
@@bugrademir2319 Amanda still died at the age of 66, never reuniting with her mother. Ellen would find out that she had been in stasis for decades and missed out on the majority of her daughter's life.
@kev butterworth And yet he was telling the truth, go figure.
I really wish they'd do an alien movie trilogy with amanda ripley it would be great story to tell.
Yes one or two films that take place between Alien and Aliens and get James Cameron too doo it
I always thought the final alien encounter inside the Torrens was a nightmare.
I can imagine Amanda spending the rest of her life searching for her mother but sadly she died before she could see her Ripely again.
Ding ding ding
we do see a light at the end of Alien: Isolation on Amandas face, hinting at the fact that she got saved in the end by some ship
Doesnt even fukin matters, ripley dies on fiorina 161 and 200 years later on resurrection earth is gone
And he showed her a picture of her mum, like she was some kind of fucking idiot! ;-)
@@berryblue. Everything you just said was already stated in the video, we know Amanda survived and the video went on to explain what happened after the events of Isolation. But at the end of the day she died at the age of sixty six and never reunited with her mother.
I say, "Stick with one queen per hive." Animals with a dominance-based hierarchy only need one monarch, like the Xenomorph's inspiration.
termite can have many queens in one hive, one of the reason it's hard to get rid of termite hive.
Han Liu
Thanks for the information!
Bro i really went through hell being scared as a mf through all Savastepol station just to have that ending????
I still want alien isolation 2, and it’s been years

@@silentecho92able I wouldn’t mind fighting hoards of aliens as long as there is a good balance with horror like Alien Isolation and action. It would basically reflect how awesome and action horror pack Aliens 1986 was.
Could say the same of Dying Light 2

I like to see more Amanda Ripley story just where to find her mother at somewhere in the universe
Nice work 👍
Oh man.... Memories.... I loved this game a LOT! and I was wondering what happened to Amanda!
I heard the guy who does the gears of war games was going to make a FPS ALIENS game starring newt
That news just came out today.
Went all through the troubles for this. Damn how I was happy she made it to her ship, but these fucking xenomorphs are relentless.
This game's graphics and gameplay ahead of it’s time
This game was scary. They made the xenomorph frightening again.
I think that Hive was a one-off generated by the conditions of the planet it was on
Most likely just for that story.
The ending of isolation had me thinking i messed something lol
Man feel bad that after all the crap she went through she was never able to find her mother on top of that who would have guessed or all the things she overcame and survived that cancer would be her downfall
What a great game. I hope they will continue this story in the future 👽
It is entirely possible for 3 Queens to rule a hive, under the condition that they all serve an Empress.
where do you pull this shit from?
That has no equal in the existing animal world. Very, very, unlikely.
@@FreeButtSex i think a comic, but I'm not sure
I think that the sequel to Alien Isolation is Newt surviving the xenomorph infestation inside the Hadley Hope atmospheric processing reactor.
Thank you for going so in depth with this, this was facinating. as for the three queen theory if these aliens had been survivors of other incidents then perhaps they decided it better for their survivaly to have more that one queen? The Xenomorph species is always adapting and changing itself physically so why not mentally?
I think Isolation is the BEST depiction of the Xenomorphs with the best art style and some really damn good graphics even by today’s standards.
Just finished the game - it was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely be doing a hard/nightmare mode playthrough eventually. We definitely need a sequel!!
just played the game its crazy how scary the game is and how it captures the movies atmosphere crazy we havent got a sequel
A tad late to the party here, but with how they started writing David from Covenant experimenting with the creatures on the Engineer homeworld and how that movie leaves off combined with his full classified knowledge of planets etc, it's feasible that there's a connection here that simply needs to be explored.
Aliens are all about evolving, so yes 3 Queens works.
Thanks Man! I just bought the Mobile Game; have to try it. Didn't know about it until You brought it Up!
Man, I did not expect that ending, I searched this up because I finished it five minutes ago & thought I got a bad ending or something
We NEED MOVIE WITH AMANDA 😁
It would probably be set some time after Alien Romulus😂
Wow...this story just spirals out of control after isolation huh
With so many writers to this franchise, theres no consistency. Why would Working Joes have guns? They are workers hence the name. It's in the game they are responding to trespass violations and one way to stop trespassing is to kill all humans. Computers do not understand how that is unreasonable
I wasn’t scared at all in this game and was never found in locker cuddlin the motion tracker..... nor do I still hear the beeps today
one queen to rule them all.
One queen to bind them.
One queen to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
bro let me tell you, that you got a part wrong, the sevastopol station was destroyed on purpose, at the end of the game we control amanda and go up to the bridge, after that she starts the self-destruction process, the plan was not to destroy the ship for scientific purposes, but Amanda was compelled to do so! other than that the video was great, I managed to understand everything even though I'm from Brazil, good job man 👍
The thing is that no matter what story she's in Amanda Ripley will always survive because we know that she dies as an old woman!
It takes all of the suspense out of it, she's as protected as a superhero!
yeah this ^
It sounds like they will tolerate multiple queens if one of them is the dominant one.
The people that made this game needs to make a predator horror survival game like this
That is an idea i did not hear anyone mention yet. 😲
@@AcidGlow Fr bro I’d fucking get that game bro

I still want a second Alien isolation part not gonna lie....
What about that alien pilot on that one planet that Marlow and his team were with? That thing was huge and was the only one of its kind that I've seen in the storyline.
you will understand it after watch prometheus
prometheus is terrible. there are incompatibilities between movies, so not all movies can be canon, thank goodness. HR Giger’s idea was that it was an enslaved biomechanical hybrid, which is way more interesting than Prometheus’s boring big blue men in suits. like any ip, pick the parts you like.
brilliant - bees make other queens with royal jelly when the hive gets overcrowded then they swarm and found a new colony nature is amazing
The story ended for me as soon as the ship plummeted straight into jupiter theres no way anything would have survived that
That wasn't Jupiter..
And Alien: Isolation still continues after that because she wasn't on the Sevastopol when it fell.
Amazing video. I love you, man
Being a enormously outspoken alien franchise fan I believe that I reserve the right to make a opinion that is beyond most reproach concerning if multiple Queens should rule a hive, and now with that said I believe that since Dark Horse Comics is the one that created the entire post movies alien stories and the queen Empress alien, then yes I do believe that multiple Queens can rule over a single Hive so long as one of them is an empress, because of the way that a queen goes from being a queen to a Queen empress they're by dominating all the other surrounding lesser Queen's then yes if she would like to have two other queens in her hive then it's more than possible for such a thing to take place, after all in order for an empress to be an empress she has to prove her dominance over all other Queens in that region of the world and if such a queen is that powerful than she would have no problem whatsoever permanently subjugating to lesser Queens to serve her in that hive, that being said if the queens are as intelligent as we have all been led to believe then she would know by having to lesser Queens permanently under her rule in her hive would make for An Extremely Loud proclamation of her power to the other queens in the world.
i think she got infected that’s why queen didn’t attack her at the end.
I just finished womble's playthrough, fuck me that was scary
Being named Ripley in the Alien universe is like being named Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise: everything goes wrong for you eventually XD
Could you probably do a video on why Ripley says "you're my lucky star" at the end of Alien?
Do you know why she sings it?..... It's so sad it makes me cry ,but don't wana spoil it I you don't know.
The song is from the 1930's and was a suggestion from Sigourney Weaver herself on how Ripley would calm herself down to focus and then defeat the alien. That song also cost a lot of money for the studio to use it, the rights.
@@sonoflamech777 why does she sing it???

There are ants that can have multiple queens and make super colonies. It goes to say that eventually the ever mutating and evolving Xenomorph would eventually have a nest or two that would try to make super colonies with multiple queens.
Sadly the ending got somewhat ruined for me but since the game is on GamePass I'm gonna pick it up. Good video man
My question: How did they face hugger get her? When they were clearly wearing helmets.
The first face hugger victim was Kane and he had a helmet on with the Facehugger going right through the helmet to Kane’s face.

How did the Aliens get on the Torrence? Crazy I just finished it. Wasn’t expecting the ending
I'm glad that we didn't have a final battle against the queen because it wouldn't have fit with the overall feeling of the game. Isolation felt more like the first Alien, and I think every choice they made was perfect. Although, it would've be pretty cool to at least see the Queen.
