These recent patches have definitely helped with bugs for sure!! A lot has gotten cleaned up. And thanks for the feedback too! I try to keep things on the level.
There is a patch (v1.03) that evidently has been received for PC but not for XBox or PlayStation. And it's been about a week and a half? I like what Aliens: Dark Descent does, but I think it relies too much on RNG. It's tough to have your characters partially made on what the game decides, not you. It's a drag to go to the Next Day section and 70% of the time, something negative happens (either get ready for another RPed Mess Hall fight or Permanently Lose One Of Your Marines - maybe one you've invested in greatly!). Having recently beaten this game, I'm glad I bought it. Overall, I like the story, and there's enough meat in here to have a good time with. But I won't be playing anything high-difficulty because of the whole permadeath + limited saved games (similar to what you mentioned, Nick). It is one thing to have to roll back when you have 12 saves (all of which the game decides what you keep, not you), but when that 12 is reduced to 2? Nah. Every game has its goods and bads and while this is a fun game, it isn't one I find myself returning to often. That might change in the future if the company fixes a few things, but that is my stance at the moment. Happy Independence Day to you and everybody! =)
Yeah, they had a patch drop a bit ago. It had an absolute, LIST of corrections. I think the team at Tindaloos needs to fix the saving issue, personally. My upcoming video was really taxing because it wasn't saving. I had to keep restarting from an hour previous save, had a few crashes, and even after I rested after welding a door, it still didn't save. It was more than a little frustrating.
@@20MG Right! I lost about an hour of gameplay in a difficult mission because I thought the game saved when I Rested (I was playing on Story mode - the easiest). I was screwed by RNG and decided to reload - only my reload from my resting point wasn't there! Not fun, but lesson learned.
@@alexpayne1364 I'd definitely have to get back to you on that one. It was no Aliens I was particularly familiar with. I'm sure it's listed in the bestiary in the codex.
Bloody fine Review. Many Bugs have been found, but slso fixed. This game maker is involved with his buyer's and fans!

Great review, dude!
Thanks Sam! I think the game has some faults, but overall, it's definitely a buy! I think there's a lot of promise here!
@@20MG Agreed. I'm really enjoying it so far and think they nailed the feel of the second movie.
Thx for the video! Great game.
So have u finished it got some juicy LORE the finally also raises questions though
No more questions than any other questionable Wey-U driven narrative lol. Great game though. My hard playthrough is also coming up on the channel.
@@20MG Is there a name for the last "boss" / chase xeno I can't find info on it
