- Silverstone auctions 2022 Supercar Fest sale is happening on Saturday 28th May and I got the chance to have a look around the cars entered in this auction a couple of days before the auction starts. Here's my selection of some of the top cars entered in this sale. For more details check out

Great stuff. Would be great to see Harry do one of these where he walks round a BCA sale of ex-lease shunters on a wet Wednesday….”and here we have a fairly dismal Insignia diesel with 196k, guided at £1200, almost certainly a dreadful buy in the current market”
😂 brilliant - I would watch this format as eagerly as this episode as sad as that may be 😂
I’d watch that too
This would be epic. For the comedy and also for the insight re value retention/good buys
£1200? As much as that...

Top work
how did the M3 EVO didn't sell.. i don't understand... damn
You deserve a medal for this comment. +1 because I cannot personally give you +1000.
Wow, the Subie P1 did extremely well.
The Capri did well! Surprised the Escort didn’t sell
These auction videos require me to wear a bib, can’t stop dribbling 🤤
Simultaneously turning your wife dry as a desert! 🤣
Haha same, i get the same feeling as going to a toystore when i was a kid. Imagine having an unlimited budget 😅
FINALLY! A car journalist with very high credibility telling the world that the Evo 1 Integrale is actually better than the highly regarded Evo 2! Thank you Harry for your service!
And value for money the earlier 16v is even better!
@@saxon-mt5by I like the Evo cars an awful more than the 8v/16v versions but they are still great and yes, given what you get for the money, they're a bit of a steal compared to the Evo.
You have to love a surprise auction video presented by Harry on a sunny Friday morning - what a great start to the weekend
wholeheartedly agree, the auction videos are among my favourites from him, have to wonder how much he gets paid for making them though haha
Weekend - sheesh. Its Friday morning.
Can't believe how much I like watching these videos!! Keep them up!
Love Harry and as everyone is saying, love the auction previews, but I have to say, some of these estimates are becoming ludicrous. I don't care how rare an 'H' registration BMW M3 is, there's no f*****g way it's worth £150k +. The fact that people are mad enough to pay these prices is a shame as it precludes the average car enthusiast from enjoying the benefits of classic car ownership.
Every time I see an auction like this, all I can think about is how we need to increase taxes on the rich
e30 m3 is at least a legend, what about that last iso grifo? totaled once owned buy somebody famous and now restored 340k? lol squint your eyes and from rare car is hemi cuda...
Imagine it being twice as expensive as that Vantage V8
WORD, for some used car value has go totally nuts, crazy prices and to me stupid.....
Totally agree. 👍
Those videos should be much longer, with a little bit more in depth details, they are absolutely my favorite type, I would watch gladly a 2 hour long video. Thank you for another great start for the week
I'll second that, could easily watch Harry going round amazing cars all day long
Thirded! love these!
That Integrale Evo 1 is a dream car. Also the Cosworth, The Escort Mark II and the Jag Project 8 or the Impreza P1. Any one would do. Amazing cars. One day, maybe. Either that or a Smart FOR2.
Imagine ordering a bespoke E46 M3 made entirely to your specs (I didn't know you can do that and get it with an "Individual" badging) and ending up doing 29,000 miles before selling it. What a waste. Thank you Harry for another entertaining video.
One last thing, I think the 1967 Iso Grifo can get double the guided price of 340,000. That is one unique piece of art. Super super collectible. Exactly what collectors are looking for. Perfect color with a nice history and story. The Chevy 327 engine doesn't bring the value down. It is a perfect fit. These cars don't come by often if ever.
Please make more of these auction based videos. Absolutely straight forward and informative for the everyday car enthusiast. Love your content and God bless.
9:34 when you see people shooting the polite thing to do is move. Especially cos they want the cars, you want space. Walk the opposite direction if anything. Now we didnt get to fully see one of my dream cars (clio v6) because of this guy
I saw Harry’s 930 Turbo S cruising through Burford yesterday….video for Sunday perhaps? Great video as usual, love the running commentary and sage knowledge. More of these please….
These auction walkthroughs are the stuff of my dreams. Thank you!
THEY NEED TO START CALLING THESE....😜"HARRY'S AUCTIONS"😜
NICE ONE HAZZA!! LOVE THE KNOWLEDGE 👏😎❤️🔥👌👍
Needs a 10 hour version
Harry is like a child in a sweet shop. I love these auction videos they are too good!!!
Integrale, M3, Impreza P1, Clio V6 right next to each other?! That's like 4 of my TOP10 dream cars... it's like a projection of my mind in a video ❤️
'I can't cope with those wheels on that one' 😂
Time stamp: 14:26
Well done handling those gusts of wind Harry! You didn’t miss a beat and the tents held strong! ⛺️
I remember when I could get a Lancia Delta HF Integralé EVO 2 for less than £7,500 - that was only around 2008! Ever since there was that Top Gear episode on Lancias, the prices shot through the roof - the same model Lancia was then selling for £40,000! Now it's more than double that! The other car I was looking at at the time was a Pontiac Trans-AM GTA - they doubled in price but thankfully I got one. What's crazy to me though is why someone would want a 4 cylinder hatchback over a V8 muscle car and be willing to pay more than 5 times the price for it!
Well, everytime this comes in my feed, I buy a lottery ticket and decide which ones I would take home lol
I think I'd rather listen to Harry than go there myself!
He's just got the greatest voice, accent, and enthusiasm for these cars!!
Good one Harry and nice work from Tom. Always love it when you do the auctions.
😀 Please do an update on how the auction went, and which vehicles sold, and prices reached. Should be interesting 🤔 to see ...
... just, with respect: Harry is a businessman (all good) and this is 'work' that he gets paid for to promote the Auction sale. He won't be paid to walk around an empty tent reading out the sale prices :) BUT the sale prices are available on line- - fill yer boots. HTH
Great content as always Harry . Those headlight washers fitted to the Aston were fitted to Ford Transcontinental HGV trucks !! , bet the Aston was quicker of the lights though?? 👍
Can't cope with the wheels on that one, priceless.
Thank you Harry!!
What a grand gathering!
Love these! So fun to have Harry act as tour guide through all these interesting cars!
Really like these silverstone shows, Harry, your understated enthusiasm is infectious.
My favorite videos on YT 👍🏼
Some of these prices are frankly insane...£50-£60k for a Mk2 Escort 1.6? WTF that is completely nuts...
20 years ago i turned down a mk2 rs2000 with x-pack for £2000. i'v always thought fast fords cars would hold their value but climb to the heights they have is just unbelievable.
@@PatrickPeterVlogs the worst bit is it's not even a "sporty" one, it's not a mexico, or RS, it's a standard 1.6...
For a mint low mile RS2000, I could vaguely understand it, but for that? Utter insanity.
A fool and his money is easily parted
@@DrRichardKimbel I had a 1978 Mk2 1.3 two door and yes the security was a joke, although I have to say it was probably one of the most reliable cars I ever owned.
@@PatrickPeterVlogs I owned a mk 2 rs2000 in the early 1980s, I wish I'd have kept it. I loved that car apart from the rusty bits lol
Great harry thanks. Glad i watched it after the auction!!
Harry, you are a true gentleman petrolhead and a master brain when it comes to car knowledge. I ❤your vids!
As an average working man born in 1965, the capri looks (at anything near estimate) a car I could only dream about when it was new, and now could afford.
Sad news the owner passed away, but he lives on in the condition of that capri.
1st year GenX represent.👍
I'm sure you've seen the 1970's video of the Ford rally team team boss begging the passerby owner of a V6 Capri to let them swap rear axles for Ari Vatanen's Escort RS during a quick roadside service.
A championship title is on the line!
That Iso Grifo is a thing of beauty.
I just love silverstone auctions, it's always so diverse selection and every car is special and rare
Loved watching Harry take us on this tour. That Maserati Mistrale is gorgeous!
Yes, a proper Maserati, none of this Levante SUV crap.
I really loved the white Maser convertible more ... both special tho!
I have seen the same lack of love towards the GT2, Harry is always right. I would call RUF, trust me your 996 GT2 would handle like a peach after Alois Ruf had a look at it! I LOVE your auction videos, Harry! Love your enthusiasm for the cars, it is really rubbing off on all us petrol heads who alwys dream while watching your auction vids. Hsout out to the camera man and edit guru!
this is my favorite type of videos on whole site,so enjoyable, very well done!
great stuff indeed, love these kind of videos and the way you explain everything
Love these auction videos
Perfect Sunday relaxing viewing. Thanks Harry.
The P1 seems unfathomably cheap. An absolute beast in its day, too.
I think it’ll sell for much more than that
Maybe the example is not the best one, I think theyve already went for more than that.
All auction guide prices are set very low - presumably to gain more interest.
@@ihavenousername1805 That's often the case, but many cars don't make either reserve or guide price. I suppose it depends who's interested! Get two bidding and the price will rise.
@@cheshirered9204 but yet the blobeye STI (with only 19k miles) guided at £39k-£44k which seems excessive and can’t see that achieving anything like that value
Fair play Mr Harry you do the best motor program PERIOD!
Thanks Harry! Love 'looking round' even if only virtually!
Love these videos, great to see what's for sale.
Plenty of amazing stuff, presented in the inimitable Harry style... If I could pick one to buy, it'd definitely be the Maserati Mistral. I'm not even that "into" Maseratis, but there's something about the Mistral that I always loved. Magnificent car.
Agreed.
Fab, great to see some Astons - good luck to everybody taking part!
I think you did the auction proud Harry, just enough variety and content.
Love the Integrale, thank you Harry
Love these pre-auction videos! So much eye candy!
Great job Harry, I was hoping to see my Morgan Plus 6, only a brief glimpse in the back of a few shots. Silverstone did a completely professional job for me, well pleased.
These are my favorite types of videos on this channel
As I am watching this I constantly hear a seagull in my head screaming “Mine! Mine! Mine!” What a candystore. Thanks for sharing Harry.
don't stop keep going, riveting to watch.
Harry you are so watchable your voice is so smooth what a dream to have you as a personal friend! Harry's garage is the next best thing. Long may you continue.
So much want in here! The Sport 300, The S4S (OZ rims don't suit the S4 though imo). So happy to see the most wonderful ever Group A homologation special ever, the Integrale finally getting the recognition they deserve (I don't think the larger headlights were for the Japanese market only? All original Integrales had these. They went to the more purposeful looking same size lights with the evos?). The (Sierra) RS500 would be an wonderful thing also if tuned to make it handle sufficiently evil. I like that the Mk1 GT3 is getting some recognition also. According to contemporary reviews no other GT3 drive the same, with the rear end moving and squirming but still gripping hard. That P5 Coupe is a bargain!!! The Iso Grifo obviously, is very, very special.
Some beautiful cars for sale and thanks for sharing Harry.
Love these auction walkthrough videos
Love the Hillman Hunter back lights on the Aston.
As always a pleasant tour of the sale
Some fantastic modern classics here.
Really Excellent.. Thanks Harry
12:00 min - so cute. 😊 I like the new ones too! 👍
I love these auction videos
Lived the black Sierra cosworth that was why I came to watch this video and learned about a new car I've never heard before the 1967 Iso Grifo ! Sweet looking car.
WOW! What a line up! Great vid!
I love these auction videos!
Thank you! I go for the red RS only one hick up RHD.
Would love you to go through every car at the auctions. Love all your story’s about the cars themselves
got to look at the auction - astonishing
Some cracking machines on display as usual and well done for avoiding the obvious non pc discription of Diana doors Harry lol
This vid made my day! Thank you Harry
Nice one Harry !
I'd love to see a short video, after the auction, with a round up of the prices achieved on the cars you viewed 🤔
I remember the Sport 300 being tested against the 964 3.8 RS in the 90s in a car magazine. They were both inseparable and it was mentioned that the sport 300 would walk all over the 911 on a track. Comparing the prices of both now I think you could say the Lotus is a bit of a bargain!
Love these Harry's Garage auction videos, quite nostalgic stuff....!
I want that Capri and those 16 inch wheels look fantastic, cheers Harry 👍🏻🏴
Love these auctions videos 👍
Great video!!!Full of legend cars!🤘🤘🤘
Great video as always.
Awesome Harry keep up the great work
That Blue Aston at 22 minutes in is stunning in that colour. I would love to see that one out in the sun.
Fabulous as always
I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would
Great video, I can’t believe I’m saying this but I really liked that red Capri !!
Apart from that, E30 M3, Subaru P1, 996 GT2 and GT3.
Wish I had money 💰
Great video as always Harry.
Great video and beautiful cars,
Great review as always!!!
Thanks for showing the 911 Carrera 3.0! You have probably increased the value of mine, just by mentioning the model.
The prices are outrageous!
Looks like I missed the boat on an E30 M3.
Harry as always a great video. Interesting connect regards 12C. I own one of these and can say they are absolutely underrated and actually nothing like a problem child that everyone comments. Sounds like you need to give one a drive and give a 10 year review. If you fancy it use mine and give it a go.
Of all the places the guy could of stood and pretended to be on the phone, he has to be in Harry's shot. Great video as always!
Nice to see you again harry.top man
Mmm that yellow Grifo was delicious.
Pretty much guarantee you entry into any Hotel front parking spot or car show.
Very nice indeed.
Very cool cars in the auction! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Used to stare at a S300 in the lotus showroom when I was about 19 still looks awesome
love ya Harry. great content as always
Excellent review, Harry!
Subaru P1 brings back the memories. My dream car as a 14 year old. The next door neighbour had one. It got pinched. He had a second and managed to keep that for a fortnight before it got taken from his garage...such memories hey
8V and 16V Integrales all had the large + small headlight irrespective of market. Note sure about the EVO1 & 2 - I've seen them with larger inner headlights as well as same size ones.
