The basic purpose of the Nervous System is to coordinate all of the activities of the body. It enables the Body to respond and adapt to changes that occur both inside and outside the body.
The two major parts to the Nervous System are the Central Nervous System and the Peripheral Nervous System.
The Central Nervous System is also divided into two major structures. The Brain and the Spinal Cord.
The Brain is found within the skull, or cranium and it is made up of 6 main sections. These six are the Cerebrum, Cerebellum, Diencephalon, the Midbrain, Pons, and the Medulla Oblongata.
The other half of the Central Nervous System is the Spinal Cord. The spinal cord is the link between the brain and the nerves in the rest of your body. The spinal cord is divided into four different regions: the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and, afferent and efferent spinal nerves, which merge to form peripheral nerves.
Now that we know the Brain and Spinal Cord primarily make up the Central Nervous System, let’s look at the Peripheral Nervous System.
The Peripheral Nervous System is essentially, the Nervous System outside of the brain and spinal cord. The Peripheral Nervous System is subdivided into two smaller systems called the Somatic Nervous System, and the Autonomic Nervous System.
Wow thank u so much u helped me a lot!
No Problem!

"as most people know, the brain is in the head" wow i finally found a video at my level
This is just about the stupidest remark EVER
made! It's like saying, "My ears are on the sides
of my head!"

i pay thousands to a university to have a professor confuse me. But you charge me nothing and make things clear. thank you
it be like that
They explain a topic in 1 hour and 30 minutes and you can just learn it in such a small amount of time on UA-cam
@@ethanuy2261 Yup, well, they have to justify making you spend 100,000 bags on the course.
Yes
WAIT YOU LEARN THIS IN UNIVERSITY I AM LEARNING THIS IN 8TH GRADE!!!
Pov: you have a science test tomorrow
No my exam it's after few days
No joke I do tomorrow morning 😂😂😅😅
Turning in late hw XD

I swear, they didn't teach it this way during our Anatomy class, all they did was bombard us with confusion after confusion, you literally made it into something even an elementary level student could comprehend. Thank you for this, good sir. 💯
Anatomy class can never teach you this way, this is for basic introduction. Now that you have an overview of the general concept it is left for you to visit you anatomy textbook and study it with the information you have garnered as a background knowledge from the video
That is a 90 minute lecture in 9 minutes! Thank you so much! So much better than the "material" given by my professor!
My professor took almost 3 hours 😫

Salute to you..
I would start small and watch some basic educational grammar videos.
@@mo1st_codered114 lol I just didn't finish my sentence all the way cause I wasn't thinking. My grammar is fine, especially considering English is my second language.
@@Matthiasschweizer an incomplete sentence you say? Nah jk bro you're on the right path, I hope you learned something and continue to indulge yourself :3
The Nervous system is split into two parts Central Nervous system & the peripheral nervous system.

Not really. Our brain does not know as much as when we are learning what each section of our brain says about

This is an OUTSTANDING presentation, making the information available to people with a wide variety of sophistication in background, language-adeptness, and more. I've had a headache for going on 10 months and am researching possible causes/cures. To do that, I've needed to learn some anatomy. You and this video are my best teachers, so far. Thank you!

There are many components to studying anatomy. One plan I discovered that successfully combines these is the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible info i've seen. Check out this unbelievable website.
