You are an exceptional teacher. My middle schooler and I are learning about the neuron and neuromuscular system. We've watched a few other UA-cam videos but were left confused and didn't learn much. You broke it down in a way we can understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain the parts and functions using words that a non-medical person can grasp and done so in a point A to B fashion. You delivered well. The visuals, definitions of terms, mentioning the various names for the same thing - were all so helpful. We also watched your video on Action Potential, which is also exceptional. Thank you.
Was looking through muliple videos, and was left confused. I came across your video and was happy at the way you broke it down in steps! Your explanation was so much more easier and efficient! Thank you so much :)
wow!! you are like the bob ross of science and human anatomy!! im studying for my personal training certificate and this helps me so much since they only give you only so many details in the curriculum i have to youtube videos constantly to help me better understand the body
I have been seeing these diagrams and explanations since I was in college; however, you have given the best lecture on this than I have heard yet. What seems to be missing in my understanding is the next couple of macro steps that explain: filtering, rejecting, and networking of electro impulses at the axion field of tissue. Then, of course, the next macro step of messaging by either consolidation or separation of the electro/chemical impulses. I certainly hope you can address these with the same eloquence as you didn’t the micro level or the neuron. Thanks for doing these.
I just wanted to say thank you for making this video I am newly blind and in school for my way back and I would not be able to Envision or figure it out when I watch this video it became crystal clear you truly help me in ways you will never ever know I appreciate you so much thank you so much for making this video and I hope you continue to make them
Man this was just genius my lectures and test books just dont enter my brain the way this did. The labeling, color, hands on, the little props, how quick the video is. All of it combined made that information stay in my head. Thanks a billion💪🏾🥹🖤
- Please, I have a serious question: I am suffering from cramping reactions of the calf muscles - why is this happening? What is the causes and which the process of this? And how can I get rid of this affliction?
Wow, thank you for this video. I'm reading a textbook with zero images in it about this stuff for a counseling class and had no idea what any of this was--now I'm very clear. THANK YOU!
Thank you! I’m in AP psychology and they gave me a textbook for the whole course but it doesn’t really help me comprehend different topics , this video was helpful , again thank you!
This was a great video, very insightful and informative. I really appreciate you highlighting the different names/terms used for each subcellular structure 🙌. Keep up the great work!🩷
A neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. They handle conditions such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, among others. The term "neurologist" comes from the Greek words "neuro," meaning "nerves," and "logist," meaning "one who studies." Thus, a neurologist is someone who studies and treats diseases related to the nervous system.
Yep 👍 Obviously simplifying but: Hypothalamus receives signals that you are hungry - signals the cortex which triggers a thought “I am hungry” - motor cortex sends efferent neurons to your arm to reach for an apple 🍎- eat!!!
Thanks for this I am in class 10 this is very elaborative of my syllabus even some parts are out of my syllabus but you explained it very well now i can teach my teacher

The action potential create only in axon hillock?only there exist pump?
Action potentials are not created exclusively at the axon hillock, but the axon hillock is a key site for their initiation.

What does a neurology do ? Why would I be referred to a neurologist ? Why is it called neurology ? What is the most common neurological disorder ?
A neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. They handle conditions such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, among others.
The term "neurologist" comes from the Greek words "neuro," meaning "nerves," and "logist," meaning "one who studies." Thus, a neurologist is someone who studies and treats diseases related to the nervous system.
absolutely fantastic! thank you so much
Thanks for the help
This is amazing! I really appreciate the video. 😃
I understand the parts of a "standard" neuron, but I can't differentiate between the types of neurons. E.g Multipolar, bipolar, etc.
This is random but i would really appreciated and be interested in a videos about the brainstem as well as the reticular formation sir
I discuss the reticular formation in my video, The Science of Sleep 😴
Thank you so much for these outstanding videos. The rate of posting suits me once a week maximum is a good choice from your part.👍
Yeah, I like the way this guy is lecture the neuron it's very interested

This video is really amazing..... please more videos on psychology topics Sir 🙏🙏
Thanks so much for always educating and inspiring us!!!!!
I will try my best
so my thought 'I want to eat an apple' gets encoded in a chemical signal? how does that look?
Yep 👍
Obviously simplifying but: Hypothalamus receives signals that you are hungry - signals the cortex which triggers a thought “I am hungry” - motor cortex sends efferent neurons to your arm to reach for an apple 🍎- eat!!!
What about the relay neurons
This video is fantastic. thank you
Thanks for this I am in class 10 this is very elaborative of my syllabus even some parts are out of my syllabus but you explained it very well now i can teach my teacher

This is random, but I would really appreciate and be interested in a video about the Brainstem as well as the Reticular formation.
