  • Materialism, the belief that one can achieve happiness or fulfillment through the accumulation of material objects and experiences, can often be masked in Spiritual language and concepts.

I totally agree that the accumulation of objects only distracts us from concentrating ourselves on our true inner values. You can only find inner fulfillment and happiness if you are not surrounded my too many materialistic objects. I have been living according to the concept "Simplify your life" by getting rid of materalistic things for several years now and it gives me so much more quality of life and inner peace. My life philosophy is "less is more" and I can only recommend it to everybody. Don't follow the herd and don't adhere to the "Must have" mentality of modern capitalistic society. Materialism does not only destroy our planet, but also our inner peace of mind.

Man your videos are the only videos that I've found that actually resonate with my journey and I have actually read tons of books and watched thousands of videos. My good friend told me to experience first and then read and this is ringing true everyday more and more. Blessings to you🙏🙏

What I've come to realize about the power of manifestation is that it can be profoundly transformative IF you're intention is in the right place. I have grown so much and healed so much during my manifestation journey, realizing who I am authentically vs the "program". Much of what I've manifested was already there...it was just a matter of eliminating blocks, shifting perspectives and truly appreciating what I have/ who I am.

I have been judge and looked down by not buying spiritual stuff from certain spiritual, religious and yoginis community.
I have left the materialistic world way before finding my spiritual path, I just don’t like to have stuff.
Since I teach yoga, I thought I should need some crystals and Buddha statues and etc... was starting to think about buying some without even wanting them!
THANK YOU so much, this is the first time I hear someone talk about this. I now feel absolutely good, and not weird about not wanting crystals and all those trendy yogi books.
Change comes from inside not from any external object/people/event ✨

Thank you ❤️ so true. After my (cruel) awakening (my husbant died and I was left with two small children ) I lost any interest in material things and lost ambition to achive anything. I went to opposite state than before awakening. It took me few years to balance that. But I am still catching myself wanting something material and looking forward to have it, so that it's mine. 😁 And ok, at least i'm aware of that.... it's almost impossible to get rid of that and that's ok too. Whole system is based on wanting/needing /yearning to have. Awareness that "having" is not going to make us happy is big step forward. It's specially important to teach children that. I hope that I managed to teach them that things are ok, it's ok to want things but nothing from outside will make us happy.

Thank you for sharing knowledge. What others do for money is their problem, but it is very true that so many started to call themselves "guru" and for money selling "illusion of the law of attraction". It's ok,might help some people to get awakened after find out the lies about it. Peace, love&harmony 🙏🙏🙏❤️

beautifully put. I really needed to hear this as this is a recent struggle I have been trying to face and overcome. So much of our society is build on impulsive consumption and I hadn't realized to what degree. It's in every aspect of modern life and it takes authentic reflection to realize the ways in which we partake in this, the ways in which I partake. I began this cleanse recently so that I could become more mindful with the ways in which I consume, as well as the ways in which I show my impulsive tendencies and so far I have learned a lot about myself in that way. This video spoke volumes to me especially now in my journey, so thank you! much love

This video resonates with me! Have heard that term used many times! Use to think getting rid of so-called worldly things and replacing them with religious things would make me spiritual and all that happened for me was still caught up in collecting thing.

Excellent video as always, thanks :-) Does seem to me that one of the key points of spirituality - that lasting peace and fulfillment is to be found within - is often missed by people in the spiritual community, there still seems to be a mentality of seeking lasting happiness outside of ourselves amongst many on the so-called spiritual path.

The crystal instagram hustle is so strange to me. The best part of my time with crystals & stones were connections to earth & other people. As one spiritually evolves, the core purposes of the material concepts are revealed. Meditation, hope, prayer, love, disciplining the mind. Many of my stones have disappeared right before my eyes after a decade. They are going where they're needed more

What is the basis of the claim that inner fulfilment and inner peace have always been within us? Some people have been insecure and anxious for as long as they could remember.

I don't believe in owning nothing. My van, weapons, cameras, drone, computers etc all provide me with peace and value and add necessary and practical enjoyment to my journey. I use them as tools in my spiritual journey. If I lose them all tomorrow then I will start new. My journey is different than others, if one wishes to live in a cave I will honor that. That said, I do have too many possessions. Tools, items from my previous journey I didn't even know I was on. Scrap metal etc. I would very much like to be rid of most of it and I am working to be rid of most of it. It's weighing me down.

To fulfil me..... I bought crystals and more crystals and more.... I have a most wonderful collection but it didn’t fulfil me. What’s fulfilling me now is moving them on, selling some, gifting others...🙏💕

There is as much suffering in non-suffering as there is in suffering. My insanity like with many other people is born from an inability to properly deal with it. Deity or who some of you call Ishvara and even less of you refer to Brahman said that there is no higher religious practice than the pursuit of truth and no higher spiritual practice than the pursuit of wisdom. A shower of gold cannot quench the passions. They are wise who know that passions are passing and bring pain in their wake.
