- There's a lot of bullshit in the spiritual culture, in various concepts, teachings and practices, which are actually counter-productive to genuine spiritual growth and awakening. In this video I share a few of the basic signs to be watchful of, as indicators of pseudo spirituality.

me too i even clapped at one point. exhausting is a great adjective for this, but its also very painful in my experience so to hear someone else validate my experience really helps, bc so many dismiss me.
There's a UA-camr that I think is great, but I'm kind of taken back by the use of the term, "Chosen Ones". Now there are a lot of people claiming to be "chosen". I think spiritual ego can be more destructive than personal ego.
I hear what you are saying. My rule of thumb is if you have many followers you are running a business. Infinite waters comes to mind. I like his message but calling his viewers chosen ones is a bit cult like. If they produce a video daily then that’s a business. The term Instagram spirituality seems to fit. My path is my path. I think we all have to experience that part of spiritual ego to recognise that in ourselves. It is a fine line

Thank you for putting this out into the public view. I agree wholeheartedly, and it is nice to know I am not alone in sensing an avalanche of 'awakening' that is putting people to sleep. I was doing a search for 'awakening is BS'. It's not just a matter of ego, it's a matter of transcending materiality; we can't see our true nature in any other way. And even that much is only a beginning.
Here I was, thinking that reading and watching "spiritual" content somehow was a decent substitute for doing the not so pleasant work. Thanks for the eloquent reminder of my own bullshit... still gonna watch some more of your videos though lol 😇😴
When facing our bullshit it’s crucial to have self-compassion. Without it it strengthens the painful avoidance we have to our darkness and keeps us resistant to reality we’re unwilling to face in the first place. Be gentle with yourself always❤️❤️❤️❤️
I stopped listening to anyone who refers to followers as chosen ones or anything like that. It's amazing how many out there are doing such good on the surface but will try to keep you drawn to them by inflating your ego. I removed almost every subscription I had. Thank you for being real!

Spirituality is doing your phychological work. Not visioning white lights but meeting your darkness, shadow. Be the change you want to see. Its starts with enlightening yourself about yourself. He who knows others is wise, he who knows himself is enlightened. Spirituality bullshit is as damaging as religion ever was. Their both avoidance of reality of ourselves. Humans are the cruelest animals on earth, and the most miserable. Do the biggest career of your life - your inner work. That is true success.

I agree! My spiritual awakening came after being discarded by a covert narcissist. I was thrown i to my spiritual journey with no floaties! Everything Source has taught me was brought to me as downloads first, while in solitude and meditation, then it would be validated later through other teachers. What I share on my channel is my personal experiences and truths...but I encourage everyone to understand that no one journey is the same. There is no right or wrong, it has to be YOUR TRUTH. This what you described as spirituality, in fact, journey into yourself is much much harder way then offered fake conformist spirituality.
Chogyam Trungpa called it Spiritual Materialism. Spiritual Bullshit is a much more impactful term. There is so much spiritual bullshit. The more I work with my bullshit, the less I want to be a special human being. I look around and I see whole cultures participating in spiritual games. Engaged in a spiritual pantomime that simply strengthens and sustains a sense of identity, attachment to a certain tribe and an elitist separation from everything and everyone that doesn't fit into the mould. Each to their own. Who am I to deprive them of a comfort to cushion themselves from existential fears. My challenge right now is to accept such spiritual bullshit and to transcend my disgust with it.
I’m glad I found your channel. You have such practical yet absolutely important life teachings. A calm and relaxing voice as well. A true man of wisdom is always meek. You should start a podcast.
You need your ego. you need material. YOu need to have goals. Goals are important. These things give us a sense of purpose.
Your ego is a spark within . it is necessary to a certain extent. But we don’t need outside influences fanning that spark into a roaring blaze. To make one think I’m superior and you’re lower.

Being false spiritual or following a religion can make people be ‘nice’. But it’s false. False towards others and false to themselves they end up angry at the world expecting reward for being ‘good’ / ‘nice’ people.
Be spiritual or religious for yourself and self growth and strong healthy mental state not for adoration from others or some gain of being in some group. Don’t be ‘nice’ be true.

Leaving a Druidic organization for this reason. My studies require me to be very straightforward and honest...well im straightforward and honest and yet even when i censor myself and find the right words...its simply not enough for anyone and I still feel like im walking on eggshells...no. I refuse to be a doormat again.

The strangest thing is somehow knowing that I already knew this... As if spirit has been speaking these words to me for a while. YT had helped me better understand what's been going on but lately I've been feeling stuck and trying to "research" has not helped. I've been desperately trying to figure out what is hindering me from complete wholeness. It's a reason I was led to this video at this time. I know a tough road is coming but it's inevitable.... This I know as well.

As i work thru the layers of disguises to get to me, my truth, i wonder how i even thought i was nice lol, but because most people wear the same disguises i simply blended in with them. Now as i remove layers, i want to get away from them. Its not been easy or "nice" discovering myself but im truly becoming happier as a result. 💗
Anyone who excessively uses the terms “energy” or “vibrations” outside of discussing scientifically demonstrable physics is full of bullshit.

I think I've figured out a reason I've been so stagnant and stuck the last few years.. I went back into my ego looking for happiness and fulfillment outside of myself. Once you said this is a mistake I felt a "oh yeah" moment. A light just clicked on to the realization this is a reason I've been stuck.. It feels like I easily allowed this to be hidden from me. If that makes sense. Because how easily it was for me to have my ah ha moment just now. Thanks for this video. I just found your channel today and I'm excited to see what other videos you have. ❤

Remember that the desire to be free of desires is still a desire. It's one of the loops I find difficult to wrap my head around. If we are all spiritual beings of the same source having a physical experience, I don't believe anyone can be any more or less spiritual than anyone else any more than anyone can be any more or any less physical. "Spirituality" means many different things to different people, but if a big part of it is radical acceptance, like a lot of people say and would seem to be the antithesis of desire you advise against, then why not just accept you are someone with strong desires, regardless of what it is you are desiring or what aspect of yourself those desires feed? I don't know how often you respond to comments, especially on old videos, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.
There is so much BS that I thought all spiritual teachings were BS until people like Nada here.
For over a year I have been practicing Stoicism. So o am not spiritual but I do notice crossovers of thought between Nada and Stoic principles that I also notice in teachings of Buddhism and Taoism.
Spirituality both SUCKS/STINKS as a christian i know way more than these kinds of people ever will.
Spiritual Bullshit: Vibrations, Manifestation, Crystals, Anything with the word Quantum in it. I give up. Now i know why you didn't list them all. It would take a lifetime.

so i have been attempting to be with my shadow side for years. i see my shortcomings all too well. but this can lead to a place of stagnation. i meditate, practice yoga and selfless service, go to ayauasca circles, eat a vegan diet in an attempt at ahimsa and on and on. and yet still , i find myself stuck behind the veil of self loathing and a seeming inability to move forward and evolve into some kind of self realization. i am clear on my dark places but can’t seem to move beyond them. so for me, it’s easy to rise above my ego identity for a broader vision. but once that vision is achieved, i’m still lacking what it takes to move out of that place
Self inquiry, and healing your wounding.
I am very wary and not attracted to ‘The Secret’. Or asking the Universe for this or that. That is prayer like praying to God/Gods. And nothing fails like prayer. Also the narcissistic attitude that some primordial being in the cosmos (if exists) gives a siht what one little ‘spiritual’ person thinks or wants!
You can smell the BS when a teacher starts talking like there's some kind of after life. It's just another appeal to the ego. Even when you hear "You were never born, and you never die" Is a red herring. There is only now,.. everything and nothing ❤

Be it but if your trauma defeats your relationships then its time to start getting real with yourself and get proffesional help...There is no secret to your bs just get help and stop being fake about it do something about it own it.. work on it and then you can tell someone else i accepted that my relationships have been awefull now i know why...

It's difficult to see all those teachings as other than BS. All of it. I was very much into it for years. It took me a long time to understand that there's only thought. Everything that comes out of it is just another thought entertaining itself.

Get out of the mind of labeling, titles, gospels of others who their own agenda and their opinions about what is important for you to practice to become enlightened and saved etc.
Being present in each precious moment of your life and being present in loving kindness is a great place to start.
Relax, being alive with your heart's desire for joy and creating your life with your truth and finding yourself with a gentle love for being respectful to yourself and others. Stay present and open to the blessings and the graces of being yourself and creating the life that you find will help the world. Be of service to the greatest glory of the universe. It is joyous to be able to do the work of living with love in everything that you do and what you think.

Thinking can be a useful tool, but self-observation is the best thing

I come here after watching some kind of 'guru' in YT. It is SO ANNOYING when she saying about some kind of concept that she think is true then she realted it to some kind of grand theory like quantum physic just to make their explanation more reasonable without really KNOWING what she is talking about. It is SO FRUSTATING to watch that, here the thing.. people looking for help to them BUT the guru itself doesnt know what she/he talkin about. And I see there is unconscious tendencies to extract money from the follower. In other hand it is needed to keep giving free content more regularly BUT, I mean.. you know the sense of exploiting without one aware of it right? I hate to see it happened in the position of a wise/healer/shaman whatever. It is okay to do in more blunt way because there is authenticity and awareness put in there in both ways. But if is like for 'funding our mission', 'for the future of our mission' and the content that it is show just pure pettiness. LIKE WHAT BRAH. I AM ANGRY.

All is One and One is All but as individuals. God / Yaw is but Truth. If You or I were not expressing ourselves as individual Ego's in this human experience then we would be right back to where we came from as ONE all knowing and all encompassing WITHOUT any obstacles or challenges to overcome. How damn boring and unrewarding that would be. I would encourage you to embrace your human ego with all the days of light AND darkness while you can.
