Wow he needs to do ASMR videos. He is a very good teacher. Calm, smooth, explains in detail, and encouraging. Love Nyesha's culinary vocab. No one describes a tasting journey like her. So great 1 can be vulnerable enough to share knowledge and 1 can be humble enough to learn. Thanks again Eater.
@@rchuyck awesome! I’m going to order it tonight! Wash the pasta rolling doable for you? I’ve had such bad luck with “dough handling” in the technique looks challenging
This made my heart so full. We see plenty of chefs who love their craft and food, but this man really loves pasta. Seeing him and Nyesha work together was wonderful.
As an Italian, I only can give kudos to Evan and Nyesha. Their passionate, intense way of sharing Italian knowledge and cooking tradition is wonderful. Bravissimi! 😍
Seeing this made me realise something : Evan Funke has a gift. He knows how to present something he loves and make you understand why it is so important to him. He sees the poetic nature of food-making and knows how to give that to somebody. This was a pleasure to watch. Thank you
Okay. This is the 2nd video I've seen with this gentleman and he talks about pasta so reverently. He worships pasta like I would love to be worshipped. Take your time... I'm not going anywhere. 💜
The way he is enthused about his craft make anything that he touches food wise taste better. He reminds me of myself when I opened my first restaurant bravo 🎅🚌👏👍
I made fresh pasta the other day, and while they turned out alright, they pale in comparison to what was shown in the video. There are so many techniques and nuances that went into their dough that really elevates the final product
Not a whole lot of people that originated as a meme go on to remain so successful and get even more popular. It's been a fantastic trip seeing this channel grow more and more, and it never ceases to amaze me how a community can be so cursed and so wholesome at the same time. Doing fantastic work man, keep it up o7 >:-O
Y'all have to go watch Pasta Grannies if you like watching this kind of pasta be made. I was already familiar with the tools and the techniques he used from Pasta Grannies!
hes def been learning from some sfoglina in emilia good skills! nothing wrong with machines tho if u have to make a lot. or you are not in your best age. we all used to turn the machine for our granny to stretch the dough nothing wrong with that
Seeing such a big tough biker guy with large hands delicately handle the pasta was something so beautiful. If he has kids, I’m certain they are being raised perfectly.
In the first few videos, nyesha was too loud for me, which annoyed me for the format. but she toned that down a little bit, and is a very eager and quick learner, which is on the other hand awesome for this format.
For a second I was like, "oh maybe she's not gonna say some weird, pretentious thing about the food!" I was wrong lol... "You get this saline quality on the foreground of your palate that just elegantly hugs the broth in a non-intrusive way." This is why foodies are becoming a meme. What in the world does that even mean. Edit: That sounded really negative, in all seriousness I love both of these people. The foody commentary is just a little over the top rofl

This guy's voice when he's giving instructions is like smooth butter
To me it's like curdled milk
It's very predagogical, engages you to listen carefully. I like it a lot.
Chef Evan is like a zen master leading a meditation in the kitchen, it's awesome. Excellent job by Chef Nyesha as always.
He is an absolute artist with pasta. Have watched a number of his videos and bought his book, amazing skill. Thanks for this
How is the book?

It's refreshing seeing chefs take so much pride and joy into their craft. That kind of energy shows in the food.
He’s one of the greats. Can’t be more proud to work with him
He is a excellent teacher with a calm and soothing voice, all of his instructions go straight into your head . What an amazing gift he has.

This chef is king! He takes his craft seriously.

I'm Italian and hands down this is some of the best work and love towards making pasta that I've ever seen. I'm in awe.

I love Chef Evan! The way he speaks about pasta is how we should all speak to the one we love!
I love watching any cooking related videos, this is one of the best I’ve seen - something about this guy cries for a mini series
He has one. Search for ‘shape of pasta - Evan funke’ on UA-cam.
I love this so much, I'm so tired of these chefs trying to be cool or understate their craft, this guy is just pure education. A fantastic teacher.
what a passionate teacher
This was so enjoyable to watch. Chef took his time and explained. Such appreciation for culture. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Nyesha's the best! And Evan Funke is out of this world.
Just love nyesha she is just gorgeous. That dude is such a good teacher and full of charisma.
Love Nyesha's workshops! I feel like I could do it. But it's cool to watch the pros.
So much detail... Loved the process..

More videos with Nyesha 😍😍😍..pasta looks really good too 😉
I love the show shows all the amazing crafts of all the chefs around the world
A pasta wizard, incredible workmanship
If Chef Evan was teaching me I feel like I could totally do this
Obsession means, after making, cooking, and eating, he can still tell which one he made and which he didn’t. Amazing.

His explanation is somewhat spiritual
I remember making gnocchi in front of him and freaking the f out.
