Brown has been a friend of Sid Roth for almost 40 yrs yet he did not called him out for all d lies & heresy in Sid's tv show til now.
Very interesting debate.
Both make good points but It does seem as if Osman makes his observation regarding how healing may or may not occur in “charismatic circles” the basis of his cessationism. But when challenged on forming a belief based what he sees or doesn’t see happening, he switches gears. Brown correctly says that the miracles in the Bible do occur today. We just don’t believe them because it seems that sometimes they don’t happen the way we expect.
Your statement is just not true. I am listening pastor Osman for years now and he always was so firm in his beliefs. He always said, as most cessationist, that God can (and does) perform miracles, because He is doing what He pleases. What pastor Osman always was saying that today we have no healers, prophets, as these particular gifts (of healing or prophecy etc.) were given to Apostles. That is all what he is saying. As simple as that. The problem is that dr Brown believes and teach, that we still have a 'special' people, so called apostles, who have these gifts and can perform them exactly as Apostles did.
Dr. Michael Brown is always spot on! 💯 he is a true Biblical scholar.
I have seen Michael Brown defend Sid Roth. Thats enough for me not listening to him. Period.
Dr. MICHAEL BROWN also did an amazing job . Great stuff and good example to the body of christ.

Osman should not be engaging a false teacher and false prophet like Dr Michael Brown. He is a slanderer, dishonest and disqualified. Please uphold the scriptures: mark, watch and avoid people like Brown (Rom 16:17-18).
The reason why? Brown is both slippery and dishonest in his dialogue about these types of topics on gifts and offices and he’s used these same tactics on many people over the decades.
Show me the scripture that says people shouldn’t be having conversations. I’ll wait.

You are in error for engaging a serious pulpit criminal who has proven he is a slanderer, liar, blasphemer, bible twister and so on… then proceeds to hide behind morals and the bible to achieve whatever personal purposes he wants. To give engage him has undone the work of countless ministers, leaders and researchers who have called out his deceit and only platformed him to reach new (and potential) gullible audiences. So as the scriptures say (as mentioned above):
“I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites,f and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.” Romans 16:17-18
@@Bibledingers and while Jesus warns about wolves in sheeps clothing - you engage them rather expose them? No. There are other Continuationists that have such greater integrity, respect, self worth and biblical credibility then Brown who actually love their cessationist brothers and sisters who aren’t false prophets or teachers.
