Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Lord heal me. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Amen! Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ whom he had not met before the crucifixion and resurrection; he met Him in his vision on the road to Damascus. On the other hand, the brother of Jesus, namely James, was a self-appointed 'apostle' whom the rest submitted for the only reason that James was a brother of Jesus by birth. It was Paul who, obviously, disagreed with James when he rebuked Peter openly for following the circumcision doctrine of James (see Galatians 2, especially verses 11-15).
The Bible wouldn't allow one to be referred to as an apostle if they truly were not and were not accepted by the apostles as an apostle, as James clearly was. The Bible doesn't support the notion that Adronicus and Junia(s) were husband and wife, that Junia(s) was a woman, or that either of them were apostles. That said, a more in-depth (as opposed to a shallow pick-a-verse-or-two) study of whether or not there are apostles today would easily reveal that there are and must be. Apostle Kathryn? In these last days, the gospel is taught according to everyone's own interpretation. (1 Timothy 2:12) "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." Nowhere in the Bible was there a woman apostle. There were many disciples of Jesus including women but only 12 male apostles. Men are called into leadership, women are called into submission. America is backwards when it comes to God's order. I encourage you Kathryn to take a seat behind a husband and let him lead and teach God's people because it displeases God for a woman to operate as a man. God created women to support and obey men, not to be independent and having authority. Such women are useless to men.

An Apostle is a man an only men can be Apostles. Like you said Kathryn. They must have seen Jesus in person to actually be an Apostle.
