These will soon be all over the buy here pay here will finance anyone type car lots
Where is the plushness though ? I just cant get on board with these asian buicks...its not the buick I remember......
Totally. Those seats look like wooden planks- so hard! Buick’s should be plush and cozy.
Damn i am so happy GM did let go of OPEL. PSA really makes the new opel model something special compared to this Buick i mean look at it. Wouldn't even have been on the edge of time ten years ago...
wow....yaaa....another suv.........goodie.........thank god.....we REALLY needed this one...oh and a CVT GREAT we know they are reliable..ya know from GM. Get a kia sportage, its better than this but get a car!
When was this filmed? The Trailblazer has been on sale for months and is a big seller. It's not 'upcoming".
Renting Bronco sport with 3cyl in washinghton mountain it was more than up to the task and many of the GM 3CYL Been around 5yrs very few complants or break down videos in UA-cam
ZERO reason to buy this over a CR-V or CX-5.
Actually, comparably equipped it is about $5k to $6k less in real world pricing. That's a lot of reasons.
@@brocklanders6969 those two have better reliability, more power, or in the case of the Mazda, both. If all it takes to be Better is for it to be cheaper, why wouldn't you just buy a used SUV?
You can find lightly used rav4s from a few grand *less* to a 1k-2k more. They have 200hp, tons of standard features, and excellent reliability.
@@KevLEXodus Rav4, CR-V, CX-5 are all a different class -- compact. This is subcompact. Compare against CH-R, HR-V and Cx-30.
Was given a 19 Encore loaner. No longer a fan of Buick. Not because of this, but because of my old 07 LaCrosse with the rack and pinion problem. This was simply underpowered, nothing about it stood out, too much plastic and waaaaaaaay too small, unless you are a LP..
I would never even consider getting an engine smaller than 2L. Less then that will just be gutless and unreliable. Even then I'd still go minimum 3.0L v6
@@MyerShift7 gutless
A great small family or college students car.
I want to change my name to Max Power, meow.
I still think it's funny that reviewers like this guy sound surprised that GM makes a good vehicle.
If John Davis, who has been doing this for 40 years, is surprised, that tells you how crappy they still are.
Are the engines U.S.-developed?????
Buick is not Buick. This is a sad reinvention of a once iconic brand. This trash is being manufactured for the elderly ,not for the young. Give the American public the performance your premium price guts pockets for. A turd with gold flakes and led lights is still a turd ...
Make this Buick a RWD V8, add 2000lbs of steel, make sure it fails all the tests and I'll consider it.
Damn Straight, and none of that self driving shit either
Nice SUV if you have a 13yr old boy body.. the seats are narrow, my girl and myself can't fit. Otherwise it was a nice looking suv.
This car reminds me why Hyundai and KIA are rising...
I don't get it Buick. Why not use the 1.5 turbo from the Equinox stunningly ignorant GM.
I'm just perplexed as to why anybody would buy GM when there's mazda.
What is a Buick suppose to feel like ??
Here we go again. Gm is trying well not trying it's killing another brand. Satun Oldsmobile now Buick.
I will pass on this encore gx I will stick with my Buick Encore preferred that has the 4 cylinder engine than the Buick Encore gx that has 3 cylinder engine
if THIS is what a real Buick feels like(whatever that means), Chevrolet should just get rid of the whole Buick brand
You mean GM.
@@2fast4all GM revolves around Chevrolet
GM has a plant in China making Buick sedans ...it's a status symbol for them....Military left Buick staff cars there after WW2...hence the status.
@@edwardbennet3902 then let the dog killers have Buick and spend their own money propping up Chevrolet's family disappointment
@@MyerShift7 Chevrolet is carrying Garbage Motors but it looks like the whole damn family is dysfunctional
100% junk
Why won't you give a negative review? These are perfectly sized for my needs. The back seating is nice. But this is a dangerously slow vehicle. The thrumming 1.2 must be kept floored, and the belt-drive CVT cannot last. It's like GM self-sabotaged on purpose. The 1.3 with AWD to get a decent transmission is still slow and UNBELIEVABLY expensive! It's a total piece of sh!t, a joke compared to Honda, and you gave it a good review. Why won't you give an honest review on a bad car?

Seeing a lot of “real Buick” comments lol guys Buick makes it has a buick badge it’s clearly a Buick y’all sound dumb
Made the China??
A 'REAL' Buick is a 225 Electra, Wildcat, Grand National, Road Master, LeSabre, Regal, and a Enclave if you need something modern! WTF is this POS!!! A 3cyl w/CVT 😂😂😂😂, damn I hate the future!
Does he talk to his wife in that voice?
Less ugly than the Encore, but still ugly - made in China?
Weak and Weaker engine choices, knock this "GX" into obscurity. Especially Because When people think of GX, they'll possibly think of the Lexus GX which is a "Real" SUV
Another boring vehicle in an increasingly boring segment of the auto industry.
When will GM drop the Buick line?
Just get a Kia Seltos
