Well done john, beautifully explained. A lot more elegant than the bits of fence post cut to size that I put in the footwell to hold the brake pedal! This is a must do, when all the brake calipers are off. Saves such a lot of mess!!
Yes, most models can be flipped for use as spreaders rather than clamps. However, they very rarely have any instructions so unless you have seen someone else do it, you would not know.
Good idea, I got my dad to hold the brake pedal down, but he's got dodgy ankles, knees and hips and he kept getting cramp in his legs and took his foot off the brake, i think it took all afternoon to bleed my brakes!
😁 My assistant doesn't have the patience for the task. So Ive effectively replaced them with my creation.. The conversations not so engaging, but there is a lot less. 'Are you done yet?'🤣
