You'll never get a "you're making a meal out of that" comment from me. Totally respect that you do all this as a hobby and to entertain & inform us subscribers.
The torx 50 on the disc retaining is a pet hate, if I send my vehicle to a shop I can guarantee that's been wrenched on too tight. It stops the disc from spinning, it doesn't physically hold anything in place. There are wheel studs for that! When I heard the aaaargh, I felt his pain!
Hi John. Did you know you've got a mention in the latest edition of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine? Pg 119, an article on how to change diff oil. I think you may be a member of the JEC, but if not, let me know & I'll email you the article. All the best, Stephen
Hi Stephen. Just seen the article👍. Yes I am a member but it takes me a while to get around to reading my mag, so thanks for the heads up. I could easily have missed it. Very nice to be referenced🤗
Very professional work, replacing brakes is a job that I have always enjoyed. Thank you for showing the video. Greetings from the IslandUdo.

great video, would you recommend putting a bit of copper grease on the disc retaining T50 screw as it seemed a pig to get out.cheers.
Yes I would. Good point. @JohnKelly-d5p
@14:30 yay!! Could the binding and subsequent heat led to that torx been 'in there' like that?
Hi @stefanmaddock5516 Good point. certainly the other disk gave me far less trouble.🤔
hi do you have to take off the wheel bearing hub to change the back brake shield thanks
