Insulate the roof as soon as possible! My 24'x12' workshop needed a 3kW fan heater running all day to make it workable. (16 deg C). Finished insulating and lining the roof with drywall, it now takes a 300W radiator to hold the room 10 degrees C above outdoor temperature; ie 30W per degree C differential. I use a diesel heater on kero for the back room of my house to take the chill off, without firing up the central heating.
I’m hoping I’m gonna be able to get that done this winter. It should make a huge difference. Thanks for commenting
I just added a longer fuel line and draw out of a 5 gal steel pail.
Nice vid bro. I upgraded the fuel hose to 3mm (inside diameter) silicon rubber hose. It can handle way much higher temperature than plastic, tho the plastic hose is probably safe to use as well.
Thanks for commenting and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video. The plastic hose is working perfectly for me so far. I'm sure the silicone will work well long term for you as well.
just bought one still in box as its middle of summer in the uk well england got it for winter to work on classic mini your vid helped me on the cost but wont be in garage might be in there 3/4 hours thanks for the info
Mine really works well for me. Hopefully you have the same experience. Thanks for commenting.
I may've missed it ... be useful to know your fuel tank capacity in order to make sense of run time/fuel consumption. Cheers.
It holds one gallon. Thanks for the question
