Dude that thing has a surprising amount of delta-v. A single .625m xenon tank/ ion engine setup got me ~1700m/s. Enough to do the kerbin ejection burn.
I am stunned. Honestly, this cinematic is so beautiful and the out-of-the-water-launches look so satisfying. One of the best camera works I've seen in KSP, maybe all space-related game-videos I've watched.

He's the best. There's no question. I thought with a game like KSP there's no way to definitively demonstrate if someone is better or worse. There's no real metric beyond milestones. I don't think there's anyone else on UA-cam who could *think* of this, let alone pull it off.

Skaro Bukowski Scott Manley just plays the game, and puts a sort of story line to it (interstellar quest, etc.). He also does other stuff too. This guy just blows our mind with crazy stunts. They fill a different niche.

This was absolutely incredible. The editing, the cuts, the music, the SFX. All of it; absolutely superb. And that's before you consider just how much work, skill and knowledge went into making the ship, how many hours this must've taken, and how truly amazing the end result was. I watch plenty of KSP content, but this? This was the best video I've ever seen on the game. And you Blitz, hats off to you, and damned well done 👍
70+ years. Now for level 2 you need to run the thing with TAC life support, and a large enough colony of kerbals to be self sustaining. That way the original mission crew's children (and grandchildren?) can carry on the mission for them :P

Every once in a while, I'll play this and just sit there like o.o through the whole thing. At some point, I always find myself saying, "That is _still_ a big rocket!" I don't know if it's the music or the number of destinations, but this remains the most awesome of awesomely huge rocket videos in my mind.

You know it's weird, I had a dream a few months back about a planet in KSP that had dark cyan/green land and black oceans. I've never played with mods (and thus never searched for them) nor had I ever watched a video with Tekto before. I guess Tekto has been haunting my dreams since before I had knowledge of it. . .
Direct ascent for a mission like that? I'm _very_ impressed. Of course, Tekto isn't too difficult to escape from, but carrying an Eve lander inside a Laythe lander from the surface of Tekto is certainly a challenge. The video was very well-made too.
Its a planet from the Outer Planets mod. If you are hungering for more planets to explore, I highly recommend this pack. It fits the stock aesthetic very nicely and all the planets are well-made and interesting to explore.
Man your videos have some of the best shots I've ever seen, I really wonder how re simulating a cinematic phrase or whole 'movie' in something like blender and then just going 100% on the effects and details would look. I feel like doing that on top of the insane music and sound effects, and maybe adding little text narrations or something for a sense of plot, would make for the most insane ad for KSP2 :p
