We adopted a kitten from an animal rescue what was feral and already 4-5 months old. The woman we adopted from was very sceptical and told us we can give the kitten back if we cant handle her. We followed your way of socializing kittens, i spent most days just lying on my belly on the floor feeding her from my hands only. Now she is living with us already for half a year and she is an absolute cutie and extremly bounded to us, she loves cuddling and follows us everywhere. She also loves our other male cat and they get along very well. Her name is spicy because of her fire at the start. Thank you for your videos, I learn so much from them every time.
My cat's name is also spicy!!!! She was over 8 weeks old when I found her so she was not very friendly but she needed help as she had a fractured leg!. Spent much time trying to get her to like me by doing the same thing! And named her spicy for the same reason! Dont regret a second of time I spent with her!

i love Flatbush Cats!! you guys are precious angels taking care of these beautiful kitties! I take care of three community cats myself. I named them Winfrey, Gingess, and Penguin. they all wait for me on my terrace every morning to feed them.
We took in a "semi-feral" (my term) cat and it took a week to get her out from under the bed for more than a minute or two. She definately wouldn't eat in front of us. I bonded with her because she was "toy friendly" lol. I would just sit by the bed and wiggle a toy and out she'd pop! Once she started exploring her new home my grandma got her lap trained by making her get up on her lap to eat treats. She's a gorgeous snowshoe siamese cat and it's baffling how a supermodel like her could end up on the streets. Nowadays she's very snuggly when she's in the mood for it and will slap you when she isn't in the mood for it. We respect her authority and she thinks we're the dumbest humans alive... but she loves us anyway.

I love this channel. Educational and full of cute cats
