What is that stage 2 boss supposed to be? An Otyugh? Most other creatures are identifiable as standard D&D monsters... kobolds, beholder, etc. It looks a little like a larger version of the Chaos Eaters from Dark Souls, but obviously DS came way later. They must be based on the same thing, though...
