The outline/flood icing has more powdered sugar in it so it’s thicker. If you need to pipe details on top of that icing let it dry. Then pipe on top, let me know if I answered your question correctly 😊

I loveee your tutorials! Do you wait in between decorating with the different consistencies? Or do you flood, and then immediately decorate over it and write? How much time does it take to dry?
Hey Dash, so sorry I missed your comment! I have a dehydrator so if I need parts of my cookie to dry I put it in dehydrator for a minute between each section I need to decorate. If I need to write I wait until the next day because you really want the cookie to be fully dry before writing. You can always dm me on IG if you have a question!
Hey! I don’t count seconds I just test out the icing to see if it will behave like I want it to. Use some parchment paper to test it. As long as it holds a border and floods that’s what you want.

Yay! You will love it! I wouldn’t let the outline dry before flooding because you want to get that seamless edge. So flood while the outline is wet.
