I don't understand why everyone is hating on this game... Its a change to the same old crap. And it's cheap. And it has promised free DLC... Yea it's ALOT like Left 4 Dead... But has a new L4D come out yet on any new consoles? NO!!! So stop bitching and just appreciate that people are still making games we all loved. COD games have been all the same for about a decade and people still get suckered in, year after year for the same old game, mechanics, and engine (in most cases). It idiots still buy them year after year. This game is worth the 40 bucks. Well worth it!
Just saying, this game was off the book. And the brad Pitt movie was also based off the book. But anyways, this fame looks pretty enjoyable especially with friends.

Great review. You could have mentioned how long the campaign was instead of just saying short. I need to know that before going for a game.
The campaign is different for different people. Some people struggle to even pass level 2 . Each chapter has 4 levels but long
There are 4 episodes, with 3 chapters in each except for the last. Depending on how good y o u are all episodes usually take 30 minutes if you play on a mode recommended for your level, if you fail you start from the start but you will have a better grip on how to play.
Just your opinions, the game is fun, intense, not expensive. Great to play with friends and family or just by yourself.

@@bigbullsfan1 Basically L4D3 doesn't make it L4D3. L4D3 would be way more robust than this game is. And L4D2 is way better than this game is. It defined the genre. This game is a copy. It wont last 2 months in the "long term". It will be dead in 6.

Is there no matchmaking for the campaign?? I don't wanna play with AI. Is it not like left 4 dead where it matches you with random people online?
Bane Thunder God u either play with ai squad mates, 3 other friends or 3 random people through matchmaking
Good review i kind of shy a way from zombie games because of the lack of identity.
It will be a PS+ game within a year. I'll wait.
About that slow downs - i5 has only 4 threads, AMD RYZEN would be a better choice :)

My i7 and 1070 runs this game superduper smooth on highest settings. I switched back to DX11 because Vulcan was hitching randomly. DX11 has no prob on my system.

@@Druterium a 7700 and 1070 will crush this game. Im using a 4770 and a 970 on 1080 @144hz qnd the game is butter smooth

Looks like a pretty lazy port that all the button prompts come up with XBOX buttons even though you're playing on a PC
Agret I play on pc and the prompts are using pc keys and buttons , he’s provably using a controller on pc

This is NOT The Last of Us. It's a great 3rd person shooter for those who want to blast waves of zombie's, PERIOD! It's an honest 40 bucks, the DLC will be the same as what you get now.... And I'm okay with that. Could Saber have done more, yes. However, they flat out told people what they were going to pump out and they delivered. The game is fun and has massive replay value.... Those who think it's easy...go ahead and play above normal; you'll surely be a bulls bitch! Great game!!
Just bought the game last night on Xbox 1, i may get the PC Version later, but i wanted to try this game since my Gf and I are huge zombie fans and of course fans of the movie. Definitely a great game, i can see a lot of potential with this game as the Swarms of Zombies are intense and more realistic and add a lot of action to this game. The guns, ammo and classes are super good and definitely add more value to the game. Only problem is you really need Xbox Live in order to play this game properly and don't expect local co-op split screen (myself and my gf were really let down by this as the Devs said they wanted to focus on the mechanics and they can, but why not still add that amazing feature?) Hopefully in a future patch they may reconsider it. And there's not enough PvE levels as there's only NY, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo each with about 3-4 chapters. But the 5 different level difficulties are awesome and should keep you entertained for awhile. I just wish they had local co-op and a bit more PvE added in and maybe in the future they will do so. 8/10 for me and a solid Zombie game and definitely enjoying it so far, but feel they could do so much more to make it completely polished, cheers all!
This was perhaps the ONLY missed opportunity, the couch co-op.... Me and my girl were let down for sure!!

None r bringing hundreds at a same time
Left 4 dead youll have maybe 40 50 zombie waves just like cod theres waves of zombies nvr hundreds on the map at the same time so try again
