2017 was the last time they updated the GSXR 1000. The following years (2018 &2019) the only thing that changed were the colors they could be bought in. Under the fairings, everything is exactly the same.
Suzuki has been very clear that they are refurbishing and moving around stuff at the factory in Hamatusu Japan. So things are going to be a little off for the 2018 2019 year. The GSXR is fantastic so if you want one get one. WE ALL HOPE IT IS FOR NEW TURBO BUSAS!!!

HP also means nothing! i smoked 650ib Ducati V4R that’s fully tuned on my “only 200hp” zx10r. Beat him bad as well it’s my second most recent video too. Overpriced bike with overrated hp numbers
The GSX-R1000 deserves to be much higher up on this list!! The first incarnation in 2001 was the darling of all the motorbike magazine journo's! It's all round performance topped that of the Yamaha R1 and the extremely overrated Honda Fireblade and correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure that the GSX-R1000 K1 won bike of the year in 2001?! Last but not least, the GSX-R1000 K5/K6 was used as a benchmark for BMW's S1000RR in the late 00s! A huge part of the S1000RR's DNA is borrowed from the GSX-R1000 K5/K6! I've noticed, especially on this channel, that Suzuki's motorbikes seem to be the butt of every motorbike snobs joke's and it's confusing as to why?! They deserve a hell of a lot more respect!! Plus, it's not like Suzuki are asking for a stratospheric amount of cash for the GSX-R1000... in fact, it's arguably the cheapest of all the 'litre bikes' our there! So if the build quality and attention to detail isn't on point with Honda or Yamaha (for example) GSX-R1000 is at least a few thousand pounds cheaper than the more 'premium' brands. It's the bargain of the century in bike terms!
I was going to sell my R1M for the new BMW, surprised they are not the other way round on this list. Also, semi active suspension has a manual mode for track use, which is so much easier to fiddle with that the traditional adjusters.
Super Duke and Kawa ZH2 have similar power to weight. The Super Duke has full horsepower/torque below 9500 rpm, perfect for street. The 200 plus bikes must be screaming on a track to use full power. Who drives around town at 14,000 rpm.
So 165 bhp on the BMW is too little but 175 is perfect on the Aprilia and 212 is too much on the MV but 226 is just fine on the streetfighter ? I sense some bias...

"2017 gsxr 1000. Current date December 30 2019"
@@moorepower13 they did bring back the suzuki katana, so even if for now they stop production of the Hayabusas, hopefully they bring them back soon.
@@sabala808 it would be so easy. Send 5 top suzuki techs to Floridas Daytona bike week with an unlimited beer budget(to make friends that have done it for YEARS) and use the turbo tech to make a Euro5 emissions 1399cc dream bike with 300hp.
@@sabala808 they changed the thicknesses of the front break disc(but didn't mention it as it would have to recertify the bike). And a new ugly exhaust to replace the old ugly exhaust.
I bet Yam would have placed the SP in S tier today. The bike was still proving itself back then.
The gsxr might be the only bike that doesn’t break 200hp but it’s funny is the second fastest Japanese bike and it’s been proven it makes the same exact power if not more than a s1000RR, the new gixxer made 207whp on brocks dyno that’s like 220+ crank hp.
Yes but we're not in the late 00s we're in 2022
@@estebanod Suzuki’s 998cc engine is god tier for modifications and is literally the strongest out of every bike hear for handling hp without issues.
How could you leave out the H2R ? It might be not street legal but it comes like it is from the factory
MrSpeedFrk he did mentioned all the track only and special edition Ducatis tho! I sense bias hahahaha
You have your stats mixed up. The v4r is not 1103 cc
How are the s1000r and the Tuono at opposite ends of the list? A new Kawasaki naked ahead of a bmw superbike? These lists are getting stupid af
The grading videos are my favorite, and the giveaway series
You and J are my heroes
At that price the MV Agusta's whoolie control means you can literally park it on it's rear wheel?
I was going to sell my R1M for the new BMW, surprised they are not the other way round on this list. Also, semi active suspension has a manual mode for track use, which is so much easier to fiddle with that the traditional adjusters.
Heya Yammie. The V4R is a smaller engine so that that they could compete in WSBK. Worth noting.
Super sport tier list idk if you made one but if not please🙏🏾
Well that bang for your buck idea flew out the window for s tier
Super Duke and Kawa ZH2 have similar power to weight. The Super Duke has full horsepower/torque below 9500 rpm, perfect for street. The 200 plus bikes must be screaming on a track to use full power. Who drives around town at 14,000 rpm.
Scott Campbell I do 14600 to be exact
Yammie could you please say something about the R1 ‘99? Id’d like to know if it’s any good in comparison with others. Thanks
So 165 bhp on the BMW is too little but 175 is perfect on the Aprilia and 212 is too much on the MV but 226 is just fine on the streetfighter ?
I sense some bias...
Hello Yammie, can you please please create review on Chinese replica bike. These bike are booming in south Asia.. but technically its hard to judge about quality because budgeting related every one is burning finger on these replica.. it would b great if you can catch this topic.. example comparing Taro gp 1 400 cc to ninja 300 etc..
BR
Why didn't you use a more modern picture of the 1290 superduke?
Why u put the MV at F because of bang for buck but the v4r is at S?😢
Υeah i think i will stay with my 125cc xD
I mean 15hp is enough for town xD
Wow your still alive?
What about the new BMW M 1000rr??? Definitely s tier
