You made a pretty simple mistake. You forgot that rider weight really needs to be included in the power to weight ratio to get the actual number a rider sees. Let's consider the rankings after taking in the typical weight of the average rider for each bike. Add 250lbs for ranks 1-9 on the list because they're only ridden by overweight accountants suffering a midlife crisis, add 100bs for the Hayabusa because that's the average weight of a 15 year old and it's a bike meant for beginners.
Thomas- you made a mistake in thinking that if I am looking at one of these bikes, MY weight doesn’t change. So the power to weight ratio differences would be the same for ME. And… more importantly…. It’s just a fun video, so put the flamethrower down poindexter.
Except in reality, the Panigale V4S is a LOT LOT more faster than RSV4 in track, just the difference in racing pedigree. Also the new V4S is 215.5HP, which Yammie once again got wrong.
My back of the coaster math says the Lightning @218mph (highway speed??!?) for 100ml range is 27min riding time before a recharge, probably for 40min to 80% on a fast charge then a 22min ride before another recharge. 😮
100 mile of range is going to be for slow conditions, Power is 8x to go 2x as fast, so lets say the estimate was for 50 mph (which is probably accurate assuming some in town), that means 200 mph is going to use 4^3 = 16x the power (though it does go 4x further in the same time), that means your 100mile range is likely closer to 25miles (if they used 50 mph for the range estimate), so that would be 25miles/200mph * (60min/1hr) = 7.5 minutes at full throttle. That sounds about right.
Lol….. doesn’t sound like a road trip!? I usually ride 2 hrs or more…. I’d be disappointed if I accelerated a few times & rode seeing charge indicator flashing.🤔😤
I want to see a list of Cafe Racers. Btw, just got back from Japan… and they have an insane amount of vending machines. My favorites were the beer venders.
Ducati superleggia, it's a road legal track bike with limited release the same as Honda rcv213 MotoGP bike. Power to weight to cost get a 250 or 350 two stroke. Next to no weight but capable of immensely high speeds with a basic tune, but basically banned in some states in the US
I'm surprised the EBR 1190 series didn't make the list at 185hp, 101ft/lbs torque .44hp/lb... figured if an electric bike would make the list this one would too
but it is not worth starting on a supersport because of spec sheet nerds buying 3 second ones but literally crashing them as long you are not a spec sheet nerd then you can start on a supersport (but the kawasakk ninja 400 is according to bladed angel the best starter bike in the planet earth and that is just a normal sports bike but not a not a supersport so be the judge of that)
This is an interesting definition of fast I would have loved the bikes to be ranked based on either acceleration or top speed or even have them run stock in a track with the same rider.
@Yammie Noob way to have a Beemer on the list! When are you going to do a review of either an S1000R or S1000RR? I’m genuinely curious how you think they stack up since you’ve ridden/reviewed most of their competitors. I’m not asking from the standpoint of validating that I think they’re the best bikes in their respective segments, but to see how they stack up to you and your team’s experience on all of these other bikes you’ve documented. Full disclosure, I own a 2015 S1000R……. I love the bike, but it’s certainly not the best super/hyper naked out there.

And 22 s1000rr. Love them all but BMW gets you cruise heated grips nice TFT screen with excellent ride modes and electronic suspension and up and down quick shifter it’s the best all around bike and with a set of helibars and vortex rear sets it’s almost as comfortable as my zx14r’s just a touch shorter .
@@MrRevinto7 nice! I’m not knocking the S1000R but it does have flaws. The good news is many were addressed in newer model years. My biggest issue with my 2015 S1000R is the vibrations at highway speed. The buzzing in the foot pegs and handlebars will make your hands and feet numb after an hour of riding. Obviously the S1000R isn’t a touring bike, but if not for the vibrations, it would be plenty comfortable for long trips. My cruise control, heated grips, and electronic suspension are awesome! Only other thing my 2015 is missing is the auto blip shifter. I get quick shifter for up shifts though. I’m curious about the 2022 bike. I need to go ride it one of these days.
Fireblade CBR1000RR-R Is by far my go to bike. The power is unmatched in regards to the top end, furthermore the sound is impeccable. For the price you will not find anything near the quality at the price. Capable of 215 mph bone stock. Good enough to me, especially to drop some performance mods, not forgetting in closing here that the bike is gorgeous.
Why GSXR-1000R and Panigale V4R were absent in this list? And btw guys Yammie Noob already told that these are power to weight ratio rankings. In real life the list is not really like this (it's much different. Not completely)

I usually ride 2 hrs or more…. I’d be disappointed if I accelerated a few times & rode seeing charge indicator flashing.🤔😤
Thank you Yammi Noob for helping my first motorcycle, all I had to do was watch too the end of the video and it was decided 👍
I want to see a list of Cafe Racers. Btw, just got back from Japan… and they have an insane amount of vending machines. My favorites were the beer venders.
For real..I was stationed there n that was the first thing I noticed.. they sell everyyything, lol
We had vending machine beer in US Army barracks in Germany in 1973. A can of beer went for 50 cents. The good old days.
Yamaha Xsr900 2018 model, watch it on UA-cam.
Beer vending machines!? How about for dope, guns, and oh yes bikes...
The MTT Turbine bike would like a word with its 500+hp and $180K price tag.
Not street legal
Yeah exept he not road legal, and looks like shit.
@@Repent_TT it is tho
It absolutely is. And guaranteed by MTT to do at least 240mph, or your money back.
How much does it weigh?
I'm almost disappointed that you didn't put a sound sample from completely the wrong engine configuration - just like those pros at Hollywood 😉🙂
It is comical when you see a street bike and hear a 2stroke dirt bike. Thanks brilliant sound guy.
08:50 nothing says S1000RR owner better than a middle-aged, overweight dude in sweats wearing crocs incorrectly.
🙄
CROCS, as a Motorcycle Owner? WHAT? I did not even catch that.
ANY Motorcycle, ridden by somebody wearing Crocs...jees.
You mean broccoli hair and making TikTok videos telling people buying gear is a waste of money because you'll die in a crash
Ducati superleggia, it's a road legal track bike with limited release the same as Honda rcv213 MotoGP bike. Power to weight to cost get a 250 or 350 two stroke. Next to no weight but capable of immensely high speeds with a basic tune, but basically banned in some states in the US
I'm surprised the EBR 1190 series didn't make the list at 185hp, 101ft/lbs torque .44hp/lb... figured if an electric bike would make the list this one would too
Yammie....You are the Suzuki Hayabusa number 1 seller....You should be proud!!....Haha
It would be interesting to see the Lightning go around the Nurburgring. Or at least part way around.
I'm going to miss the ADV content. 😎 It's been sooo since Papa Yams spread his DRZ love! 💙😄 🏍💨
Love that thekilacam made an appearance in a yammie noob video
My dream bike is the h2 i just love the bike looks, sounds and and all
How is the Gixxer 1000 not on this list????? I mean it makes more power and weighs less than the Hayabusa... So how is that possible????
Noon only rates the same bikes...busa kawas and yams but not other models
Of these bikes like the mighty gixxer, gixxus and bandit
Sprayed coffee out of my nose at "boomer missiles"
I know it’s so rare but I’ve actually seen a h2r refuelling and a hp4 at a car park in cornwall 😂 had no idea how lucky I was til a few years later
Forget about the power to weight ratio, I'd give #1 spot to Superleggera just for its sound!!!
A V4 is my dream bike, not even for the status symbol, it just looks so damn goooood
but it is not worth starting on a supersport
because of spec sheet nerds buying 3 second ones but literally crashing them
as long you are not a spec sheet nerd then you can start on a supersport (but the kawasakk ninja 400 is according to bladed angel the best starter bike in the planet earth and that is just a normal sports bike but not a not a supersport so be the judge of that)
You’ll have it someday.
@@boltgaming248 I've been riding for over 10 years. But I appreciate the thought!
@@josephwampler4772 ok
This is an interesting definition of fast
I would have loved the bikes to be ranked based on either acceleration or top speed or even have them run stock in a track with the same rider.
I'd love to see a zero-sixty followup 👀
The RSV4 is an absolute legend!
We're doing one as a giveaway in the next few months, but we've got an ultra spicy Ducati we're doing first ;)
@@yammienoob that’s awesome! I’m going to need to save some $$$ for shop.yammienoob.
The bikes I own 13and 15 zx14r 14 ZX-10r 16 hyper Duc. 13 victory hardball 16 s1000rr 2007 Zx6r 2007 gsxr 1000 2006 m109 2008 cbr 1000r I bought them all new at the time never would ride a clapped out bike .
You actually got me with the Ducati v4 being on the 4th position
Yammie you missed one, the h2r, it comes with 500 horsepower and big big megablasters
Nuh uh
Papa Yam! Long time fan here and love almost all your videos. One thing I think needs a tiny bit of work is your voiceover audio editing. I hear a lot of bass in the plosives and it bothers me more the longer I listen to it. Consider putting a high-pass filter on your voice after recording, it would clean that rumble right up!
We need a V5 before the end of combustion engines.
Lol !! Prob not a bad idea! My cousin had a Audi car with 5 cylinders!
The 6 cylinder motorcycles are screamers! They sound good & run like a scalded dog(from the videos I’ve seen of them!)🤘🏼👌👍🏽
Eyyy the lightning is here!!!
Gotta love electric motor sounds.
Almost as nice as the Supercharger flutter on the h2 and the Desmodromic valves on the Ducati.
Or the crossplane on the Yamaha
I’m feeling a little disappointed here as an S1000RR owner. You didn’t even mention the M1000RR. I would have expected to see that one in the #2 slot with the SL in the #1 spot. What happened Yammie?
I woudn't hold your breath waiting on any S1K love from Yammie. Apparrently they do everything too well and are therefore "soul-less" machines.
Agreed
He's a BMW hater. Every time he talks about an S1000RR it's always negative.
Not sure if it should be in here but the cbr1100 xx blackbird sure rips
Probably a dumb question, but have you heard of the Dodge Tomahawk? If not check it out. It’s pretty interesting. I’d like to hear your input and thoughts, or overall review
Its not a production bike, just a proof of concept vehicle.
@@dr.hugog.hackenbush9443 I didn’t say it was lol
23 v4 it homicidal bike property tune 220 to rear wheel 243 at crank put mr 12 .simply slip on 210 to rear 92 fit of torque. It light and fast .enough to put all of them to sleep .😅
Love my V4....sips cappuccino. ☕😉
I think the R1 sounds the best. Love it.
sooooo and RSV4 as my first bike for a mere mortal.
Control room operator at a refinery here. No Ducati but an 2020 aprilia rsv4 factory. My bike weighs 427lbs, I guess maybe a gp style exhaust dropped some weight?
R1 feels enough always
I didn’t even realize how HUGE the hayabusa was until I went into my local dealership today and it was the first thing I saw as I walked in
Hey Yammie nice videos. But please do the stats also in KG/KMH/Nm of turque so also we europeans can enjoy ;)
As a metric boy i can tell you thats not gonna happen you better get used to imperial or your gonna be clueless forever
Wow the 2021-22?! R1 Crossplane has 200 HP now!!!
I have the carbureted 150HP model! Jus bought a month ago! I’m happy…. It’s capable of 170 plus mph!? Who needs to go faster off the track!? Jus enjoy & know what ya got! Whatever you do…. don’t ride too fast too long! A lot can happen at those high speeds!
Friend of mine has a 2005 Hayabusa! He’s done 180 plus mph!!!!
Anything over 150-160 is mind-boggling for me… LOL!
This is the best video on the best beginner bikes to get
The ZX14R is always my favorite, I'm saving money for it and I'm definitely getting it in January 2023 on my birthday. And let me ask, if the Ducati Superleggera V4 is street legal, what happened to the Ninja H2R?
Definitely best bang for your buck … ZX14R!! 💪💪💪💪
"It was all a charade"lol Yammie always pulling the Ducatistas' chain
You should do this list with older sport bikes under 1000cc
I was gonna watch an F1 video next but that outro convinced, I’m gonna watch Yammie Noob
Dude, the number of vending machines in Japan is about 1 per 23 people, not 23 machines per person. :D
Beautiful compilation of the greatest kinetic art EVER!
Good way to meet Jesus
I work at a hospital, and have seen so many young dudes get totally beat to shit and die from going to fast on these bikes.
That’s why we live more in 15min on these bikes than you will in your entire life regardless if we do die at least we can say we truly lived life in the fullest
@@albertballweg2144 lol if you think going fast on freeway or street for 15 min is living then that’s actually pretty sad , risking your life for what exactly so people think you look cool or for a temporary rush , garbage mindset !!
You know its a motorcycle channel when its been 2 years and none of the top comments mention that he said a Model S Plaid has a HP/Weight ratio of .21 but showed a model 3
Where is the Royal Enfield classic 350? Incomplete list.
