Is sage’s durag or bsolz’s beanie coming off first
Sage without a durag is T5 most cursed images ever
beanie
@@theprocessssyou haven’t see him without a durag
the beanie comin off first
They’re both dying before either of those things happen
Can we just talk about how Giannis has been averaging 30 10 and at least 4 for the last 5 years casually
Jokic won an mvp based on stats and carrying the team a few years after harden lost in 19 (with stats and carrying the team)
Yea harden not winning in 2019 is insane
Giannis literally had better stats than Harden if you look past the box score and consider defense.
@@rickharrison1737 Harden had better on-off and EPM (which includes BOTH OFFENSE and DEFENSE)
@@kingdinodragonite3470Cumulative +/- always skew in favour of offensive production so Harden is above for that reason but yea advance stats wise they were relatively even
To be fair 2019 Giannis is lot harder to win MVP against than 2022 Joel Embiid
Durag and Beanie arguing about Giannis vs Harden MVP voting was peak convos 😂
That 2019 Harden true shooting percentage thing may have single-handedly killed how serious we should take that stat 😂
How? Freethrows are part of the game.
@@udithsethu552until you become a free throw merchant and they don't call the same amount of fouls in the playoffs, the REAL games that actually matter
@@Madeguydo good thing MVP is a regular season award.
Being able to draw FTs and get to the line is part of the game. I don’t see any reason to use EFG% over TS%
@@youngclc1242because in the playoffs they don’t call those same fouls
SGA just casually avg 30 being tied for first in steals and being number 1 in the west on the youngest team in the league 🏌🏾
Solz should wear a durag and Sage should wear a beanie
The real finals is Solz beanie vs Sage Durag
😂😂😂
ik the bulls weren’t relevant at all this season but having watched Coby for the last 5 years, this season genuinely came out of nowhere. Dude went from 10 pts as a rotational piece off the bench to our starting pg of the future with 20 and 5. That means a lot more to me personally, compared to Maxey quite literally just getting more usage. Coby clearly improved more but Maxey had the prettier numbers on a better team.
Copy white also received more usage aswell right? I Personally think becoming a star and a fringe all-nba with good stats is better and harder especially when you have THE superstar in joel embiid taking the ball and points. Compared to someone becoming a good starter/plsyer from a rotational piece
@@itshurtt395 going into the season it was very clear Maxey was number 2 option for the Sixers so you damn near guarantee more usage and more points.
Coby at best would’ve been 7th option. At not even leading the bench unit. He earned his usage
@Dgenic yes but one of the reasons coby didn't get the opportunity he has now is that he didn't show that potential at the time. Maxey did, so when harden left he earned that second option. Obviously there is other factors like injuries that give coby the chance to show his worth but like they both earned it. And even in maxey case the opportunity is there now he still has to step up and take that jump which he has
@@itshurtt395 so in an award about who made the MOST improvement, you’d have to argue the guy who didn’t prove himself worth it before has made more of an improvement than the guy who already cemented his place as Second option.
@Dgenic it doesn't matter about the status of the situation. If someone has cemented his place or not. Its about stepping up to that title and performing game in and out like you are expected to which maxey has. And that level is a fringe All-nba with good stats. Both have a case but I still believe 100% that making a jump from good player to fringe all-nba is harder then rotational piece to a good starter.
If winning a championship is the goal of every season then can we argue that LeBron is 4-20 Jordan is 6-15 Kobe is 5-20 and Bill Russel is 11-13
And curry is 15-25
In the 2015 MVP discussion, all this time i did not know curry was only playing like 32 minutes a game. I might change my view on it
thank you for this great video i love the content keep it up
Beanie and durag duo will never end😂😂😂
I think jokic def one sum of the wrong years tbh. I have him winning for sure 2022 and 2023. 24 should have gone to Luka and 21 should have gone to Giannis. While harden in 19 should have gone to harden, 18 go to Lebron.
I love that yall have discussions about the past, nice to reflect on the past nba vs listening to another Dallas Boston preview and if Ant is the face of the league😂
1:14:26 I was in the 2nd grade and seeing my hometown hero KD win MVP was awesome and I had the movie Thunderstruck on Repeat cause I didn’t know any better
😂😂😂😂Man we forgive u cause u was you young
Bro im 17 and i am nostalgic for gumball this is crazy😂😂😂😂
sage talking about luka defense rn is so funny
The Giannis vs Harden debate is almost nothing like the Luka vs Jokic debate. Bsolz is fully gaslighting.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GOOD 2019 JAMES HARDEN WAS OMG 😨😱‼️
28:53 A TO THE FUCKING YO, SOLZ?? 🤨
Important bit of context for Maxey is last year Harden was there and this year he wasn't which opened up a considerable amount of opportunity and was a big factor in the jump in numbers
the winning gap for luka and jokic wasn’t like it was 15 games. the gap was so minute that im actually surprised it came into the discussion for mvp
It was 7 more games in a super hard conference.vthat ain't small 😂 3 seeds above aswell. Winning was deffo a viable factor
@@itshurtt395 turned out it didn’t matter those games and seeding bc luka just beat 3 of the top 4 seeds on his trip to the finals. almost like he was the best player in that stacked west
@tylerdinger9859 alright 👍 I could care less about the playoffs when talking about regular season award😭
@@itshurtt395 and now your deflecting lmao. see all i gotta do is offer some context and then your flail like a fish. “regular season award” when he had better numbers than the winner on 7 less games won. a player that was out of the playoffs last year won 7 less games than the reigning champs. sounds like mvp stuff does it not, if you wanna talk “regular season award”
@tylerdinger9859 as I said, they both have mvp stats. Luka beats him on the raw box score stats in ppg and assisting. Jokic beats him in wins and everyother stat metric and efficiency by alot.
The main reason steph doesnt win in 2021 is cus they were a play in team
Luka vs celtics in the finals.
Sage and bsolz are about to go crazy
I really thought AD should’ve won DPOY
WELL ACTUALLY PART 2 PLEASE 🙏
damn I was graduating college in 2015 yall made me feel old asf
These dudes continue to dismiss Giannis in his award
D'Lo had Jared Dudley scrapping with Ben Simmons, MIP just for that
Are you a durag wearer because you’re Sage, or are you Sage because you wear a dorage?
Ironic Sage says "Not Like Us" but both of yall out they playoffs. They are in fact like yall
ive seen solz without beanie few times, never saw sage with the durag
4:55 COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK
The Reason Why Coby White should have won over Maxey is for 1 Maxey Avg 20 PPG as the 3rd Option once Harden was gone it was expected that He would have made a jump and then to add on the fact Embiid missed most of the year he was now the #1 option. I don’t think Maxey took this big leap his role changed which increased his production but his efficiency took a dip. Coby White was a player who’s value took a dip as after his sophomore season he was regressing and dropped below 10 PPG and for him to now be maybe apart of Chicago plans for the future because of his jump is a sign of more improvement. I feel like we ignore that context of Maxey Situation when discussing him being most improved.
1:13:43 peak solz n sage lore
1:06:56 a giraffe in the acquarium? Wtf 💀
This mf Sage laugh sound like Seth Rollins
Derrick Rose having a first place Most Improved Player vote in 2019 was unexpected
Luka wins the 2024 MVP if Jokic wins the MVP in 2023 btw
28:53 ... bruh 👀
Yessir Sage gonna hold down Ja 💪🏽
Is DBook the Zach lavine of Kobe Bryants???😂😂
sage and solz can you guys do sage and solz play you're careers and do 99 potential on both of you starting in Boston and Lakers or on the same team random start in 2014 or 2013 🙏🙏
Idk man Colby in the play-in.
When it comes to the 2015 COTY I don’t think that Kerr should have won it. I’m pretty sure that was the year he was out for like 30 plus games after back surgery and in that stretch they lost like 2 or three games total
1:14:00 me being a 06 baby watching this part
Triple J took Mikal Bridges’ DPOY
10 second club
2024 MIP Cam Thomas!!!
2024
SGA - MVP
Koby White - MIP
Vic - Roty + Dpoy
6th - Either one of Nas or Bogdan
I get we gotta factor winning in 2018 but cmon dog bron 2nd best player that year was a young Jordan Clarkson when harden had PRIME CP3
Genuinely don’t understand the Luka over Jokic MVP take. Look at stats and win shares
I just have to say this you're a good podcaster play your shows are way better when you have bro with the do-rag on it
I know it’s all troll right but I do think free throws need to matter more. Cause imagine how crazy the stats look if the Jaylen Browns and the LBJ of the world are 85% from the line instead of 70
Who gave Derrick Rose a first place MVP vote in 2021.....take away their vote immediately

SOLZGNG❤
2018 I’m going LeBron simply due to the lack of respect I have for Harden and how good Bron was. I am a James harden hater
I know this is from 2014 and up but can we please all agree that Lebron should have won mvp over Steve Nash in 05-06
yeah
Kobe*
Lol
No
It coulda been lebron or kobe I wouldn't have been mad at either shit dirk and wade coulda won it that year to lol
Coby white should have won the most improved player of the season in 2024.
48:45 Lou Will averaged 33 minutes a game lmao cheat ass “6th man of the year” award
Don’t care what people say ant is forever robbed of rookie of the year, everybody got caught up in the Lamelo highlights and him being in the lime light wayyyy too much, Terry rozier drops 30 but let’s talk about Lamelo Smh💀and side note Luka did landslide in the MVP this year…my glorious king #77🤟🏽
Nah Coby didn’t go from cool to good player he went from bust and waste draft pick to good player the discourse on Coby last season was terrible for Coby
harden was robbed in 2019
My mvp in 2018 was Bron only because he had all these stats and good record with no help on his team so that’s why I think that’s important
I agree ppl tend to forget this was the year he lose kyrie and had Thomas who wasn't the same old wade old derrick rose ok j.r and shumpert Kyle kover and later made trade n had like Clarkson most of these ppl were like 4 option on other Teams
sage and solze can you do lebron and luka in the same area
does solz have the n word pass?

Sage is hella trolling despite the fact that jokic and Murray (as a duo) has as many rings as Lebron and AD (as a duo)
The fact that Giannis didn’t win in 2022 or 2022 is diagusting solz and sage. Giannis was the best player in the world who had had his best offensive season especially when you’re talking about shooting the basketball as well( middy). Jokic shouldn’t have won it one of those 2 years 16:09
Luka mvp 2024 idc abt anything else
I don’t think you guys understand how TERRIBLE that 2018 DPOY was. AD had better stats than Gobert across the board and played 75 games (for context Rudy Gobert played a whopping 56 games and still won). To make matters worse AD wasn’t even second place for the award. 🤨
B-but the jazz had the #1 defense 😭
Rudy's aura inspired them to be better on defense. 😤
@@rashizzles Don’t tell me he instilled the power of friendship 😂

Jayson Tatum for mvp 2014-2024?
The DMitch/Simmons debate was never that deep. People (including Mitchell) were just spamming the “BeN’s N0t a rEaL RoOKie” card
Wemby DPOY is a duh
Rudy losing some fraud DPOYS
I mean he did turn teams filled with turnstiles, a dying Joe Ingles, and Royce O’Neal into defensive juggernauts in the regular season
My issue with Wemby's case is that his defensive impact doesn't lift the Spurs from a bottom-10 defensive team to at least a top-10 defensive team.
Lowkey Kawhi stole more DPOYs than Rudy. If I were to list my winners over the years it would look like this:
2015: Draymond
2016: Draymond
2017: Draymond
2018: Anthony Davis
2019: Gobert
2020: Giannis
2021: Gobert
2022: Gobert
2023: JJJ
2024: Gobert
Love Kawhi but I don’t believe in POA defenders winning DPOY, no matter how good they are.
@@y2shuproblem literally wembys on off numbers say other wise...they are literally top 3 when he is on and nearly dead last when they are off...different when Rudy is 1 when they are on and 7 when they are off...like what are you yapping about
@@christophergraves3113 it still doesn't translate into winning and the Spurs defense being at the top of the league consistently. End results matter
The right MVP since 2014:
2014: Kevin Durant
2015: Steph Curry
2016: Steph Curry
2017: Russell Westbrook
2018: James Harden
2019: Giannis
2020: Giannis
2021: Nikola Jokic
2022: Nikola Jokic
2023: Nikola Jokic
2024: Nikola Jokic
I still can't believe people are still arguing for Luka over Jokic. Jokic was better in almost every advanced metric (if not all of them), and their box score numbers are both equally impressive. It wasn't really that close. The Nuggets fell short in the playoffs because the Timberwolves were just a great matchup against them, and most of the Nuggets other than Jokic underperformed.
The box score numbers were not close
It should've been Luka or Shai.
Either one could have won, there was no clear cut leader in the race, at least to me
Don't think it's a ridiculous argument. I can see the argument, I don't agree but if you make the Luka MVP argument you have valid points and have some basketball knowledge. I just respectfully disagree, but will concede some points.

Just agenda pushin if u used the logic of Giannis winning mvp cause of his defensive bron in 2014 should’ve too 6th in dpoy and only a 5 point difference in points and bron was 56% 38% percent from three and kd was 50% percent and 39% from 3 but great vid just nitpicking😂🫡🔥
