- How to make an Irish Maid
The Irish Maid is a riff on the Southern classic created by Milk and Honey’s Sam Ross, the Kentucky Maid. The Kentucky Maid calls for a bourbon whiskey whilst the Irish Maid calls for Irish whiskey.

INGREDIENTS
- 30mL Irish Whiskey
- 15mL St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 22.5mL Fresh Lemon Juice
- 22.5mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
- Cucumber
HOW TO
1. Muddle the cucumber
2. Add the remaining ingredients to your cocktail shaker
3. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned glass
4. Garnish with a slice of cucumber

Yeah, was pretty tasty. Sweeter than expected but you could always drop the sugar a touch if need be..
I'll be sure to dial down the sugar syrup since I need to switch the lemon out for lime(the bf has an allergy to lemon) and I'm imagining that it will need to be a little less sweet to compensate.
