No phones in sight, all the crowd up at the front of the stage all taking in the moment and loving it. Nowadays it would be all phones pointed up in Bowies face. RIP the legend.
Only David could replicate the exact sound and hardcore harmonica riffs of his original release, all the while looking even better than he did in his twenties. There was definitely magic in The Man. When he died, too much sparkle and joy left this world. Love you always, David!
The guy didn't die he,s traveling the cosmos in his space ship visiting all the other planets to put a little love in their world. PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU ALL MY FRIEND'S AT THIS CHRISTMAS TIME AND MAY THE NEW YEAR BE GOOD TO YOU ALSO. 🎄✌️😎🏴

To all the losers who put thumbs down to one of the greatest artist of our time, when all of you are dead and gone. that man's legacy well still carry on for thousands of years. Rest in peace David Bowie
I've seen him in Cincinnati and he was wearing a white button down shirt and black slacks. Great concert, and I also saw Queen , Freddie put on a great show there, too . Gone too soon.
End 2022. We're hanging in there. Hopefully getting rid of the *thing* which appeared as you & Prince departed. Thanks for leaving us so much (him too) to help keep going 🌟⚡️✨💫🌀
David Bowie efficiently wrangling a mic'd-up harmonica in between verses whilst wearing a... whatever the heck that waistcoat deal is... What a presence.
Love you dave, were ever you've moved on too, im sure its a great place, rest in peace, love and joy, although I've no doubt you will🌠amazing musician. 🌌 Blessings Jackie 🤗 From Ireland 🇮🇪 Ps:you left a glorious mark so big on this little planet i doubt you'll ever ve forgotten, thanks for all the harmonious joy you brought to the earth, i could go on and on.......but im serious. Your brill💫💐🌅
for me, Bowie's A Reality Tour was the highlight of his live career- everything about this tour was near-perfect from the band, choice of songs and his vocals and manner on stage. I would strongly buying the DVD/CD/Download of the Dublin performance (with the bonus tracks) as it is simply stunning.
this was my one and one Bowie concert. I liked him but not a huge fan. Once I saw the show, I was blown away, I knew most of the songs and he was phenominal, I went out and got all his catalogue. Legend.
I miss him.. simple as,, and didnt truly appreciate him until that day, the day when the internet was trending..(cant even say the word) thanx to my teenage son for getting me into Bowie a couple of years ago, his eclectic taste, not norm for a 16 yr old. rip David,. glad I lived when you did, thanx for the music. xx
@ Danielle: Sorry, I meant "THE" shows in germany. But he played it with the same power at both shows (and all the others I saw on the internet), so I guess it can be called THIS show, too. But to tell you exactly: Of course it was the "Reality Tour" and I've been in Hamburg and in Hannover in 2003. Take care.
This song is just so foot stomping heavy, could play it forever. Has to be Mr Bowie's heaviest pop tune..Earl Slick famous for that fat Dimarzio pickup Les Paul sound, perfect for this song.
Yeah Earl Slick and Mick Ronson were my favourite of his guitarists. Mind there’s also Peter Frampton ( solo and Humble Pie) he can play it hard too. Saw Bowie’s Station to Station tour in February 1976 at the Forum in Montreal. Cheers from Montreal
I read a comment somewhere like: 'Think of all the thousands of years man has been on this earth, and WE were lucky enough to be here for the 50 years when he was here making his fantastic music!' - And I think it's true - we are actually lucky
After having surfed his music for a few weeks, this is the song I like the best. I am so sad he has left us. I too would like him to come back. I love the rhythm, and the harmonica. RIP, rest in sweetness and light. Bless you and thanks for the gift of your music.
Dang,it never occurred to me that David Bowie would get old, much less get sick and die.I first saw him when I was little,on the midnight special.Scared the hell out of me with a big spider on his costume.Creeped me out...I loved it.Been a fan ever since.Regrettably I never went to any of his shows, but he was always there on the radio.Kinda feels like losing a family member. If he was as good a husband, father and friend as he was an artist, his loved ones have suffered an incomprehensible loss.Condolences and prayers to them.
One of the greatest performers ever, his influence on me is catalytic, because I play guitar and sing, I always study all his live performances to get the slightest thing from this huge artist! My biggest misfortune is that I was never given the opportunity to see him live! when I heard about the news of his death I was shocked for weeks, (probably still somehow) ...!
Yes, stylish also as presence, not only as a musician. And this feature, in my opinion, is also reflected in his creations as a constant: a subtle watershed between fiction and reality, between the empirical world and the unlimited imagination. David always has re-invented bravely himself through difficult balances between music and lyrics, often touching important and deep issues, made more fluent (exactly) with his innate elegance of gentleman, delicate, respectful. Thanks a lot, darling!
While visiting the David Bowie IS exhibition, they played the old live version from the 70's on a huge screen in the last hall of the exhibition. It was so loud, so awesome and at that point I realized how much I loved this song. So I cried my eyeballs out.
there isnt one song i dont love! :(:( i am so sad today loved you since i was in high school! you will be missed and loved by all condolences to family and fans
Many Thanks for posting this. I'm an old fart, a huge Bowie fan for 40+ years, and this is still one of my favs. I can't help noticing how young Bowie's audience was in 2003. A lot of the stars from the 70's, still playing in 2003, their concerts would have looked like some kind of geriatric conference, grannies and grandads, out for an evening's entertainment. Bowie seemed to find a new audience every generation. RIP Spaceboy. Much missed. Never forgotten.

The freaking harmonica playing is amazing. RIP, Great One.
i totally agree wth u on that!😍
I didn't even know he knew how to play harmonica. Was there anything he couldn't do?
I wonder if he did this a lot live...
Larry Wilson
Unfortunately, one thing he could not do was beat cancer...
