0:00 - 1:38 Akira from Loudness 1:38 - 2:20 I believe that's Takayoshi Ohmura 2:20 - 4:00 Hide from X Japan 4:00 - 5:35 Sugizo and Pata from X Japan 5:35 - 6:43 Syu from Galneryus 6:43 till the end Hide and Pata from X Japan
This’ll be a long comment : The first one is Akira from loudness they’re a super old school band that formed in 1981 and opened for a US band at Madison square garden in 1985 and went on a sold out U.S Tour they’re the first ever Japanese band to sign to a major U.S label and the first ever in the U.S billboard 100 but after the hair metal era ended and the grunge movement started they lost their foothold in the United States and Akira has focused more on his guitar company I’ve seen Tak Matsumoto from B’Z endorsing his guitars and B’Z Is the best selling band in Japanese History by a pretty huge margin so Akira’s company is doing pretty well another interesting fact is the bass Taiji used to use in X Japan was hand made by Akira also I should have had more guitarists in this video and and made it a bit longer
I just made the list randomly when I was bored and put who came to mind at the time there were plenty of people left out heck I didn’t even put in Tak Matsumoto or Hizaki
Tame ?..... It depends how you regard the depth of playing beside speed and shredding...... Overall the tones are sort of generic even though it is very good technically...... A few guitarist have a specific way of achieving sounds richness, sound space while having the chops as as well...... Terje Rypdal for one exceptional musical player combining depth of composition, arrangements and production...... Japan is very gifted even if the American contingent has its stars.....

Always remember kids you might be good at guitar but there will always be that person in Japan 10 times better than you
Why are the amazing female japanese guitar players not on this list?
I just made the list randomly when I was bored and put who came to mind at the time there were plenty of people left out heck I didn’t even put in Tak Matsumoto or Hizaki
Miyavi be like:👁👄👁
I have one doubt: are there girls and women between these nice guitar players? Sometimes, it's hard to distinguish.
There’s none in this video but there are plenty of amazing female Japanese guitarists
If you think your good at something, always remember there is a Japanese person who is 10x better than you
*Asian person
