That's very usual thing for Japanese bands. I don'w know y so many bands only play their well-known song in their live show even if they released a new album they never play some new songs.
Recently discovered this guy, absolutly amazing. But not known to many as well AS the Band. Very sad though. Would love to See em live. No Chance to go to Japan and they won't come to Europe i guess.
@@gabriel-jj2ej Turilli and Timo are sloppy live, but Turilli, especially these days, his guitar solos are not that great, but he is an excellent composer. Syu has ridiculous technical proficiency and outstanding knowledge of music theory (evidence of that in most of his solos that borrow heavily from the likes of Tchaikovsky, Bach, Mozart, etc, almost as if he channels them).
Hey, not everyone has to be senstive towards music and recognize the range of emotions that behind all these notes. Don't beat yourself over it :) (Tho seriously, it's beyond me how one can see only technical aspect of his solos and not see the amount of feeling is putting in and getting out 🤷)
I just got back from Japan and got a chance to inspect a crying star up close for the first time.It was way smaller than I thought from seeing the guitar with Syu all the time.He must be small.I'm an average size 5"10 asian-european.
They might just be my favoirte power metal band ever now. They're genuinely special and have a deep catalogue of great music. I used to have them on par with Angra and Sonata Arctica, but i think think they've overtaken them. And they've overtaken Blind Guardian. And everyone.
