Hey I just found this tutorial and it's absolutely fantastic, thank you!! I'm stoked to try working with vinyl! I was just wondering if it's possible to do shading/weathering with paint on top of the foil?
So my biggest thing is, if you're in a hot environment for a long while/ outside in the heat, since you don't glue this, will it start peeling off? Or will it stay like how it is on a car?
If your in Arizona in the summer it can get hottest enough to effect the wrap but usually it's fine as long as you don't touch it to much. You also have to be in the sun for awhile considering foam doesn't heat like what the wrap is usually in contact with like a car

Absolutely! I didnt need to do too much, but I did add shading and weathering with brushed on acrylic paint

So once the vinyls heated up it’s adhered ? To the parts ?
What about if you have a piece that has edging detail and is a different color?

Usually I do 2 coats
does it also work, when the eva foam is already painted?
