Hi Bec, I did use the hot setting on my hairdryer, however if you find that you still get a result with medium heat that is perfect. I find that with a wooden round brush the hight heat setting is still ok on delicate hair because the brush will absorb the excess heat. If you are styling damaged hair with a straightening iron or heat tong Do Not go above 160 degrees. Let me know if you have any other questions. Nat
I did use high heat, because I was using a wooden brush. If you are using a ceramic brush then I suggest medium heat because the heat will increase by a lot anyway with the brush getting hotter and hotter.
If you do not trim your ends every so often the ends will split further up ! I am living through this right now !
