Thanks for this vid. Quicl question, if you have shot at 1080 and you would like to reframe, you are screwed then? Is there a way to do this and scale up?
@@spencertorok thank you. But even if you have shot at 1080p then you create a vertical time line, will it work scaling up without sacrificing quality?
*Oh, boy, this is called the easiest and quickest?!* Not disregarding the job, but I just migrated from *Vegas Pro* less then a year ago and, yes, the workflow is more professional and the program takes full power of my video card (unlike slow and jittery Vegas), but more and more I bump into simple things that are so time-consuming in DaVinci! E.g. my Vegas had *Vegasaur* installed (significantly widened functionality like old Canon cameras with Magic Lantern) and you could fulfill the same task with *ONE CLICK* , just select all clips and click corresponding function in Vegasaur, so it automatically fills the screen with all your clips in even manner, you don't have to move, re-zoom, re-border or resize separate clips. That is quick and easy! And, of course, you have options for rows, coloumns, swap, order, border etc. if you need (I usually don't, except order of the clips, which you can swap with the same one click)... Boy. The same with fades. I could pick the clips and click to create fade-ins and fade-outs (length chosen beforehand) for ALL my clips at once. DaVinci only has group transitions (dissolve), not fades, which is a different story when you overlay or stack clips... And real fades are handpicked and single clips only... I love Davinci, but these flaws just slow the editing so much... Well, hope they update it...
pls bro ive been trying to do this with multipile clips now for 4 hours i dont hink you can i want to do one long clip above and thenn on long clipe but its edited together with small clips idk if this makes sense its just two clips so two rows but the bottom one is multiple clips pls help
@@spencertorok So i figured out that if I'd stabilized any clips it zoomed in on them for some reason and made their aspect ratio portrait instead of keeping it landscape during tile production. Love Davincis little quirks!
you could definitely do that if it's easier for you. Video collage takes any thinking about positioning and size out of it and allows you to just simply decide how many columns/rows you want and does all the back end sizing and positioning for you. But everyone has their preferred methods!
Thanks it’s was easy to follow and well explained, cheers 🥂
I love how easy this is to follow! Thank you
This is dope, you nailed it!
I've been looking for this for ages! Thanks a lot man!
This is really well explained two years later! Thank you so much!

From Singapore I’m appreciate and million thanks bro
Thank you! First time using resolve and this helped me a bunch!

@@spencertorok yes absolutely, keep up the great work man!! you deserve all the subscribers!!
Came in clutch with the tutorial. Thanks for that :)
Glad it was helpful!
What!! how often does it happen you look up a video on youtube only to realize the person who made it lives around where you live lol
i wish i knew this years ago, i've been doing this manually, tediously and inaccurately. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
AMAZING! Thank you! So helpful and quick
Wow I have to try this thanks for sharing
Dude. Absolutely amazing and made my night 🔥
🫡
Man, thank you so much! This is a great video and I appreciated the chill atmosphere. Cheers!
To my fellow anamorphic lens filmmakers out there, this is great!
Thanks man! It was a lifesaver.
Key tip: When you drop the videp collage FX, drop it onto the top clip.
which of the clips
there are tree clips on the time line
Awesome thanks!
Thanks Buddy 🙂
Thank you for the video! Very useful and helpful!
My guy 🙏 Thank you. I've been eyeballing it for far too long lol, so hyped on this plugin. Cheers!

@@pyroBlastM should work totally fine ! 👍🏼

Hello, thanks for video but what if you want to stack 2 videos one horizontal on the top and a vertical one in the bottom?

thank you so much! just gained a subscriber
wooo! Thanks for the sub!
This didnt work for me, none of the clips are previewing whenI try this :(
Thanks!
would this work if I want to use it as a part of a longer video that contains vertical stacks and horizontal clips
but were do you put the first video colage? I don´t show ...
@@fabinhob.mendes8312 directly on each clip as an effect
Great!!
Thanks to you I just did one. Will doing more!!!! Just subscribe for when you have more tips.

I'm not sure i understand, but it sounds like you need to change the row / column numbers in the video collage effect on each clip.
is this pack for Davinci Resolve ?
all built in effects in resolve!
Can that be used on 2 different machines ?
HOLY SHIT! i’m sold to davinci im changing from PP
I lv u
Not working out for me tho😢
what part are you getting stuck at ? 😓
for me neither.. I only see 2 out of 3 clips...
very difficult
This doesn't work anymore. It makes my clips vertical instead of keeping them landscape
sounds like your settings for the video collage are incorrect. make sure your columns are set to 0 and only adjust rows
@@spencertorok So i figured out that if I'd stabilized any clips it zoomed in on them for some reason and made their aspect ratio portrait instead of keeping it landscape during tile production. Love Davincis little quirks!
I don't get why not just change the size of the videos instead

Didn not understand shit. Thanks, the video is cropped poorly plus I can’t see how many clips did you apply the collage FX on
Facil no es jejeje
Thank you soo much!
Thanks!
