This isn't the only way to achieve this result, this is just showing a sort of automated method where the effect does the majority of the positioning and size for you but you can create the same effect manually very easily If you can do some quick math to figure out the size and position of each video
Or you could just divide the pixel height by X number and then set that as your video height. Work smarter not harder And use premiere because it's better & simpler for most things.

DaVinci definitely has more tools available for color grading. But they do make some things like this overly complicated which is frustrating
