Eh, this guy is a typical jock. All good at "sports" and not much else. Start playing by different rules the U.S. Navy SEAL will stomp his ass into the ground!
I think CrossFit is the closest you can get to Navy SEAL training you can get for non-military individuals. Loved it, thanks for sharing. You got me all fired up now….
That's a great workout and effort. Appreciate the insight at the end. Important to do hard things often. Def inspires me to get after it this fine morning.
This attitude you have and how you speak to us is what drives me to be who I'm becoming! Maybe because I'm an Infantry veteran and it takes me back to those days... There are 2 people's names I mention when I tell them how I'm getting back in to the form I once had...even through your nutrition. It's my close friend Lisa, who pushes herself in everything she does, and Chadd Wright! I thank you brother for helping me get to where I am. You reminded me that the body can be pushed beyond comprehension! After I healed from all my injuries, you pushed me to get my thumb out of my butt and start kickin' butt! You can tell he took your words to heart! That was freakin' beautiful! I love you! Nuff said!
You impress the fuck out of me Chadd,, great workout,, I’m a lunger,, had my right lung removed,, emphysema in the remaining tissue and two lots of bowel removed,, I don’t fool myself for a second but you inspire me to take that next step,, one step at a time, love you too my brother
Thank you Chad and crew, another great video! Thank you for putting these videos out, there are a lot of middle aged people out there, who are low in spirit and resilience on account of the Covid, and as one of them, I find inspiration in your leadership and follow in your footsteps, All the best and Happy new year from one of your fans in Ireland 🇮🇪
This guys always go attitude and still very down to earth nature is what brings me back for day to day motivation in life and fitness. 23 years in public safety always trying to be the better me!!!!
One of your best videos. Love the format. I’m neither a spec ops guy nor an elite CrossFit athlete. But it was fun trying to compete with you two. 51 year old das trying to stave off Father Time. 41:38
Strong work dude! 47:36 here. Thought I was gonna die. I avoid programming things I hate and today, that is changing. Awful runner so this one punched me in the nuts.
Love this one especially today....just found out I got covid right before I watched this. I love the simpleness yet the truth of focusing one one thing at a time. Also, highly respect the manner Chadd treats this man. Good all arounf gents. Thank you.
I don't often watch legit CF, I usually see the memes. Guess real CF is bad ass. I'm not going to argue with either of these fellas. Both are super impressive, well done!
I love getting called a SKID MARK at 51. Especially since I'm a life long martial artist and Sensei, have a pistol and rifle MAN CARD....I'm motivated more now then I was an hour ago.
Think your rowing technique let you down a bit. After the catch arms first then knees. But that was a pretty solid effort. You were never going to win, but you didn’t give up. You must have been an altogether different world of pain , but staying in the arena and going to the finish was a real achievement. Nice to meet Hamza and see him perform so exceptionally well.
Such a great advice at the beginning of the video. We are so programmed to be afraid to lose that it keeps us from winning. Took me many years to figure this out - I beat it into my kids daily.
Hi Chadd, great workout. Did it yesterday. Time 38:23. Question though with the burpee box jump. Is it burpee, jump, burpee and that counts as 1 rep? Or burpee is one rep, box jump, burpee another rep? I did the first, but I cant figure out how you guys did it. Thanks!
Truth. The only way to be the best is to repetitively have your ass handed to you by the best, that's how you learn what makes them better than everyone else, and how to emulate and improve upon it.
His comment on mindset is similar to how SEALs say they do things. The slicing the pie philosophy. You don't tackle one huge goal head on, you slice tasks into small things and perfect them which then leads to great success. Hamza is right, think about what's in front of you task at a time don't look or have too much in front of you
You did well, Chadd! But what is incredible is that given your background, this sort of event would have played into your hands with the high grit factor more than something with a significant weight or technical gymnastic element. Games athletes are something else! it shows you what is possible though!
Both of you were awesome athletes. The Palestinian fellow paced himself from the very first run out of the box. I could see that. He looked slower but it was on purpose and look, Chadd ran out of gas and started falling behind. Both are excellent but the strategy is key.
Eh, this guy is a typical jock. All good at "sports" and not much else. Start playing by different rules the U.S. Navy SEAL will stomp his ass into the ground!
Chad when you get the chance, start making videos with your friend Edgar the green beret, since it's not about who is better, both units are the best in their respective specialties, we as civilians really enjoy their respectful challenges. An idea that occurred to me, if you want, you could record each one doing what the other would do in your unit, for example Edgar is a green beret but he could record a video diving and destroying with some explosive a kayak that Chad had put in a Lake of test, and Chad who is a Navy seal, could do a parachute jump, in some place that Edgar prepares and start guerrilla training, using some friends that you know, after they are trained, assault a practice target that Edgar has prepared, and Chad assaulted the target with his students, this way both Chad and Edgar could finally talk about what they think about what makes the other special. Thanks 😃✌️
❤❤ it was mental competition. Chad is just hanging in the middle of the pack and watch the competition think he beat him. The next time around it will be elevated to the next level 🎉 it’s just a game
The fact you held your own and finished when you did is impressive. Good job both of you

lol..... what
Its deceptively biased.
You are the man for even competing with that beast, impressive and inspiring, thank you Chadd.
Its really impressive your performance Chadd specially competing with an elite CF athlete. Hats off.
CrossFit is no joke. Killer athletes.
That's a great workout and effort. Appreciate the insight at the end. Important to do hard things often. Def inspires me to get after it this fine morning.

Great video. Hamzeh is such a humble man and yet a world class athlete. Great information!

Thank you. Have a good new year
The fact that you even did half of that is extremely impressive Chad! God bless brother you are a modern day warrior in Jesus name! 🙏🏻💪🏻
Looks like a killer workout. I've been doing crossfit for 4 years now and I'm still not elite by any means but I'm better everyday

Outstanding effort from both, the outro was spot on too
You could tell when they were side by side how smooth and efficient the pro was in all his movements.
Everyone reading this should do The Murph this coming Memorial Day. But you better start training now!! God bless
Outstanding. it is the mark of a real man and a confident man to find those who are better and take 'em on. Well done Chad and well done Hamzeh.
Following your channel from Spain, it was awesome. Thank you for your messages.
Thank you Hamzeh!!!
I've been into military culture and work outs for a long time. Chad is the real deal. You're my inspiration to be better and do better.
My new favorite 3 of 7 video. Thanks Chad and Hamzeh!!!!!
Needed that intro!!
I been doing my own HIIT circuits but am about to join a CrossFit gym to have competition

Love this one especially today....just found out I got covid right before I watched this. I love the simpleness yet the truth of focusing one one thing at a time. Also, highly respect the manner Chadd treats this man. Good all arounf gents. Thank you.
Exactly my thought. Taking skills from the better, be humble and always be focussed. Live is about learning.
I don't often watch legit CF, I usually see the memes. Guess real CF is bad ass. I'm not going to argue with either of these fellas. Both are super impressive, well done!
Thank you for this in so many ways. ❤
Great video! Happy New Year!
Fantastic guys. Much love from Scotland
Chadd is a great example of how important humility is to personal growth. Great example of how to get better.
Dude, you’re F’in awesome for this, just like all your videos!
Absolutely loved this, one task at a time
I love getting called a SKID MARK at 51. Especially since I'm a life long martial artist and Sensei, have a pistol and rifle MAN CARD....I'm motivated more now then I was an hour ago.
That was great. Good work guys. Truly inspiring.

Thank you My Brother and Shipmate for Sharing This Motivation 🇺🇸⚓️👍🏻
Such a great advice at the beginning of the video. We are so programmed to be afraid to lose that it keeps us from winning. Took me many years to figure this out - I beat it into my kids daily.

Great video! Being a 52 year Skid Mark love the challenges!
Big variance in preparation for exercise stress and the mental strength and decision making within a unit of a team involving life and death.
Greetings from South West Ga. You the man Chad! You are excellance and reek good sportsmanship. Happy New Year to you and yours good Sir.
Great video Chadd. Awesome guy you competed with.
Both of you ROCK!
That is 100% facts. I didn’t start really improving until I started training with people who were way better than me!
My first time here - Thank you for going through what you when through. Great content very thought-provoking.
Great video!! Enjoyed the competition....and humility! 👍
Excellent Chadd, becoming stronger by showing weakness 👊
I did this workout at my crossfit. It took me 41:36 to finish. I'll eventually beat Chadd's time in near future, however. ✌️
Hamza the Machine
Also that's always a good sign you're kicking your butt when you get confused on the order of the exercises lol
Incredible, great work both !
Jeez the legs on that guy are like chad and chili put together
Love it man

I’m only at the burpees & I wanna say great video before I watch the rest

Both of you are awesome....

You are a great spirit, Chad.
This video makes me want to build a box for my home gym. Well done fellas.
Try using your bench.
Both of you were awesome athletes. The Palestinian fellow paced himself from the very first run out of the box. I could see that. He looked slower but it was on purpose and look, Chadd ran out of gas and started falling behind. Both are excellent but the strategy is key.

The first one minute, FUCK YEAH! 💩….. and then the whole thing!
Not to mention if there were some lifting exercises in the workout!
Don't be last, don't be late, and don't be light.
Hamsa ain’t no joke man. Straight machine set on go son. And I agree with Chad, don’t be a skid mark, go find ways to push yourself.
My man!

good advice Chad, thanks✌️
If a man is right, his world will be right!
Wow Just Wow! I need to do better! I need to be better! Love everything you do Chad! Thank you!!
How dare you call me a skid mark 😤 haha
That dude is a beast.
Good effort to the warrior / athlete 😎👏👏👏
