Hey, if you are interested look up a book called Eat Right for your blood type. I came across it and took the opportunity to try out a meat based diet after 30 years of vegetarian eating and to be honest my body is really appreciating it. There’s a list of foods that are medicinal, neutral and not recommended for your type which are worth avoiding. Once I had dealt with the emotional side of such a change it made a real difference. Hope this helps!

Yeah to be honest I resonated with a lot of the info in the book, stopped drinking orange juice and swapped it out for pineapple juice, cut back on bread and pasta, swapped peanuts for walnuts but some of the historic theory evaded me, we are in the lucky situation where there are dietary choices but guess that most, of not all, of my ancestors would have eaten whatever the hell they had availability of, be it healthy or unhealthy! @@johnh.2340

I actually started the carnivore diet 6 weeks ago and have lost 12 pounds so far.... from 210 down to 198 and feel soo much better! I quit drinking soda as well and only drink water or water with zero calorie flavor packs added. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to give up all the junk food and snacks, definitely worth trying!
Rib Eye is my main staple EVERY day I can get/afford one. I was on a low fat non meat diet for years and suffered and suffered ... when I went mostly carnivore.... my health improved dramatically!

I figure daily carbs ARE bad for you......if you have a very sedentary life style, which has become more common.

My nutrition bible back during my minor league days, for 10 years, was "Eat to Win" written by Martina Navratilova's nutritional Trainer/Dr. All about carbs. It required a lot of PT. I like your protein + carbs. My former teammate and father of my assistant had his own diet. Not gonna name drop but it was based on eating chicken every day. It worked out pretty well for him. :) Thank you for you service!

I think he reminds you of your youth because of his cartoonish (in a great way) accent. My family is all from Georgia & Alabama, & my goodness, I literally cannot understand half of the "words" they say.
My Granny used to eat slices of butter, she loved butter so much. She was from Germany and she lived to be 86 and survived starvation, ww2 and cancer. I remember she had so many great stories and she made sure we knew where we came from, one story was how as children they had to eat roots they dug up to survive at one point. Funny how something as simple as good butter brings up so many emotions and memories.
My cousins granny is German and grew up during WW2, to this day I’ll have a butter sandwich every time we visit her. It’s hilarious, but delicious and satisfying.
Mine used to harvest gophers for 25 cents a head on the farms when she wasn't in school during the great depression in Wisconsin. Her and Grandpa (Korean Vet) also took care of her younger sister when she got knocked up at 16 and had nowhere to go. Respect and remember your heritage.

Recommend putting the rub on in the morning, zip lock bag for the day and the grill. Kind of like dry aging. 24 hours is preferrable, but 8 hours works! Just a Marine's opinion!

Lol I love Chad’s serious demeanor even when he is saying something silly. Gets me every time. Also glad we finally have good ole southern boy Navy Seal on UA-cam. It’s nice to take inspiration from a man who I know was raised similarly to myself.
A lot of the of the guys in the top tier military units (SEALS, Rangers, Force Recon, etc) are actually from the South. A lot of Southerners involved in Spec Ops.

Hey bro, we eat the same stuff, right down to the name, brand and sizes for most of it. The fat is key. I eat all of it. Red meat is essential. I eat rib-eyes and also there is some excellent organic hamburger that I eat, about two pounds of that per week, and steaks fill the gap. Oatmeal/natural honey/organic coconut oil - surprised you didn't include that for breakfast. F'n awesome. I eat four eggs with the sharp cheddar alternating mornings. The white rice after your run is a good idea. Rice cooker - damn good idea. As for not scrubbing your grill - man, my best friend just died from colon cancer and he never scrubbed his grill, either. Do scrub it. Carbon in your gut = bad. Clean metal and then throw your meat on, ok?

Half tub of ice cream a day, steak, cheese, rice, eggs, honey, toast, smoothie. Have you ever added up how many calories you burn? It's impressive. Edit: Rough calculations 5k calories, 300g protein, 457g carb, 228g fat. If my calculations are even somewhat accurate, man is a monster.

I have always had a muscular build and have been abnormally strong from my height and weight for decades. I agree the protein from eating meat of ALL kinds has helped a great deal with that over the years. I'm not a nutritionist but I know I feel much better after a long hard day of working my body into the ground if I eat a large portion of meat (beef, buffalo, elk, moose, chicken, fish, pork, shellfish, squirrel, rabbit, duck, quail, pheasant, frog legs, alligator tail) etc etc etc. From my experience vegans are abnormally and extremely thin and lack a lot of physical strength.

My Smoothie:
- Cut Organic Apples (can't do bananas)
- Organic Berry Blend (Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries)
- Fresh juiced Carrot, Celery, Cucumber juice
- Microfiltered/Ultrafiltered Grass-Fed Whey Protein 30-40g
- Oat Powder 1/2c. (blended oats)
- Green Powder blend (Wheat Grass Juice, Oat Grass Juice, Barley Grass Juice, Alfalfa Grass Juice Powder)
- 1 Tablespoon Nordic Naturals Strawberry flavored Fish Oil (best fats ever)
NOTE: This will NOT last you 4 hours - because it's absorbed VERY fast. Perfect pre/post workout drink. You'll be hungry again in 1-2 hours - but this time for solid food like steak.
Best Rice - Lundberg Short Grain Brown Rice - 1c. Rice to 2c. Water - properly washed/whisked first - cooked with 1 T. Butter and some salt. That Basmati Rice is tasty, but it's low in fiber and less nutrients without the outer rice husk.
But man, thanks for this video. Gets me in the mindset to get back into the right habits! That egg concoction looks great! I've never put rice in my eggs. What a good idea!
