Incredible tutorial. I cannot believe how many nuts you removed, how many different devices you detached in a certain order. I can't imagine having to put everything back in place. I could not do it without watching the video back to reinstall. You are incredibly talented, your explanation is wonderful, if you weren't a mechanic you should teach mechanics you are an excellent teacher. God bless you and thank you so much for sharing...

The mechanic simulator game also has you do exactly everything this way. The amount of time these guys spend working on cars is definitely a love they have we don’t understand.

You’re god sent. But this old transmission should’ve lasted longer.

Ivan Peterzell Thank you bro! it's crazy how these transmissions start to fail just after 100.000 miles!

My 6L80 would pop out drive and lose all gears. Dropped the pan and discovered a lot of metal shavings.. added new fluid and is running fine is it a bad torque converter or what caused the metal shavings?

I try doing a transmission job the old school way without power tools tranny jack no lift.. if you working on a older car them rusty bolts going to give you hell without using power tools.. I like doing it the old school way too it make you stronger and more knowledgeable about parts because you have more time to studying the parts while you taking them by hand because it takes a little longer.. both way work great to me

When you spin the engine to remove torque converter bolt, do you have to put car in neutral?

I haven't encountered this type of work before. A client complaint that when he was on motion is airbag blew. Eventually, he noticed that the smoke was emanating from the engine bay. Hence, he pop-up the hood and saw that the smoke was coming from the ABS module. He called a mechanic to unplug the ABS module connector. Afterward, the connector was connected back. Henceforth, he has noticed that his steering is stiffer to steer. Additionally, he said : "the car isn't moving smoothly as before."
Yesterday, he called and said even the headlight and other lights aren't working again in the car.
The check light appears first, brake light second then finally the P/S light appears. They lights don't come out at once. It's a 2010 Toyota Corolla Le.
Please how do I fix the problem?

david essien it's hard to tell! do you have any trouble codes in memory?

@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair The client is a novice about car and was unable to give me a good explanation. I didn't see any sign of airbag shooting when I saw the car yesterday. I told him that the airbag is still Ok. He made a mistake in his explanation. The only thing I saw was that the ABS connector was unplugged and headlights were bad in the car.
What i noticed from the car was that when it's first started the RPM raise to about 2,500 and then drops to about 700 RPM on it's own.
Probably there could be a short on the instrument cluster as well because I noticed a blink once after about every 25 seconds throughout idling except the car is shut-off. He said that was how it was when he purchased the car from someone till date.
In addition, the speed clock doesn't raise when driving and the car is intermittently hard to start.
P0335 and P0500 were the only codes I retrieved.
