Have you ever had freshwater ghost shrimp in your aquarium? I used to keep ghostshrimp/glass shrimp in my 10 gallon aquarium and my 20 gallon long fish tank. I am a little worried to add my shrimp to my 90 gallon aquarium because the fish like angel fish, plecos and other tropical fish may eat the ghost shrimp! I’ve also heard ghost shrimp can be aggressive but I don’t think that’s the case since the are a nano shrimp. I hope my ghost shrimp breed and have hundreds of baby shrimp!!! - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Thank you SOOOO much for watching! if you wouldn't mind taking a sec to follow me on the gram that would be 🔥

Luv u to the 🌕
That was a algae eater fish
Is it really?? Hopefully as it grows up it would be easier to tell
@@ChallengetheWild it reminded me of one, I hope I’m right
I would really love to get shrimp but they breed and I don’t want that ugh.
It is a fry fish
I remember watching your videos 3 yrs ago I live in India....ur videos were uploaded in the morning and I woke early and watched ur videos before going to school...time flies
Your mystery fish looks like Heterandria formosa, mosquito fish, and it's not a fry. That's their adult size. They share much the same habitat as ghost shrimp, so, if your shrimp were wild caught, he might have been caught in the net. They're a fascinating species and you can keep quite a large colony in a ten gallon tank.
Wow really! Ive never kept them. I just googled them and it does look similar maybe it was stressed and that why it's color was off! Sweet ill have to look into them more :DDD
@@ChallengetheWild Id agree with Emmit. Very easy to care for hard to find in the San Francisco area. They are better know as the Least Killifish. I've seen them thrive in anything as small as a 1 gallon all though it was heavily planted.
It is a small White Cloud fish. They are commonly kept in Ghost Shrimp tanks at major pet stores.
Your reaction to the fish 😊🤣😲
Name it 'Ghost Fish'. BTW, tell John not to look so excited in the car! :)
Haha they had NO clue i was going to film lol! I don't really blame them haha
Wow
I can’t believe I got a free fish haha
I once got ghost shrimp, with a surprise as well. It was a prawn or whisker shrimp, and it ate three betta fish and a tank full of guppies. I didn't realize that it was the reason all the fish were dying until I saw it eat a guppy...
Hey James. The fish is a Grey mountain tetra.
No I’m joking I have no clue what it is. 🙃
Haha someone said it might be a mosquito fish!
I love your videos 😊
Thank you!!! I love your comments :DDDD
I had a tank with red rili shrimp and blue velvet shrimp and they cross bred to make a blue and black shrimp.
When are u ganna stock up ur garden snails I can’t find any other place’s to buy them from all I trust is u
That shrimp is so adorable! And so is the free fish you got lol 😂. I couldn’t tell what type of fish it was, but it’s still cute. Keep up the good videos bro, btw it was hilarious how your family looked so “excited” when you got back in the car with your shrimp😂.
Ghost shrimp or glass shrimp is such a cute name for a type of shrimp 🥺 I wish I could've got some shrimp for my betta when he was alive (⺣◡⺣)♡
Awee sorry about your loss 😕 and they are pretty cool!
i laughed so loud with those secret things ahaha, i just wonder why did you pour in the shrimps then got them by the net wahaha, enjoyed it!
You should name him Casper ( like from Casper the friendly ghost! ). It is such a cute name for the little ghost baby!
ah we love pet land Racine :D
Hey bro how the bettas doing .....love to see them can you do a update on it 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Yo Sadly I don’t own a single tank that is shrimp Freindly , There all death pits for anything small and edible 😌😂.
Aweee I feel like my angel fish might eat them if I add them to my 90! There are a BUNCH of hiding spots tho!
It looks like it could be a molly fish possibly
that small fish looks like a baby bluegill .
My lfs had archer fish
Have u ever had colorful shrimp like crystal shrimp or rili shrimp?
I have actually! I have cherry shrimp mixed with a couple other colors in my 20 gallon! They are awesome 😊😊
Hey there I wanted some help
I have one smokey angelfish which is around 5 inch I wanted to add some more
So what size and how many should I get
How big is your aquarium? I haven’t had the best luck with large angel fish... I actually had to give one away because it was too aggressive in my 90 gallon
@@ChallengetheWild I have a 42 gallon
What about calling him “Lucky” as he’s now not longer going to be a feeder. 👍
🦐
Its a 👻🦐 haha
👀
your mystery fish looks a bit like a zebra danio fry
Does it? Someone mentioned it might be a mosquito fish! I’ll try getting a closer virw
@@ChallengetheWild Maybe, I bred zebra danios a few years ago and they started to develop lines like that on the side when the fry where about that size
Since he's the friendly misfit among a bunch of ghosts, name him Casper.
Haha that would be SUCH a CUTE name omg
I really hope this one wins I love it
you should buy a tripod so it'll be easier to release them easier in the future :D
Call your surprise fish Casper
Ghost shrimp aren’t hardy they are kept in the worst conditions due to be considered a feeder shrimp. pretty hard to breed. They need drip acclimation like any other shrimp.
I dont know if anyone else has said it yet but im 70% sure thats a fathead minnow? I got a baby fish on accident too and it looked just like that
Great video James, never kept ghost shrimp but they look amazing, btw are you still interested in our ant collab???
Maybe it was a minnow?
Name the fish Gerald
That would be a cute name!
It is a fry
I’ll just comment to help with the algorithm
Haha thanks :D
If pet shop water has anything harmfull, that will also be on your fish skin, and then in your water.
Ghost shrimp will eat fry! Just so you know!
Get a turtle pls
I got a tortoise!! ua-cam.com/video/n8ejd8zHaw8/v-deo.html
