- Your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee may be equipped with the Quadra-Trac I or Quadra-Trac II 4X4 system. The Quadra-Trac I 4X4 system automatically shifts power from the front to the rear. If equipped, Quadra-Trac II system allows you to place the transfer case in 4WD LOW or 4WD HI manually when traction or terrain dictate.

Why in the world do you not include a complete manual book in the car? The materials provided show only the very basic info and trying to use the display screen manual while working on something under the hood just doesn’t make sense. How do I get a complete manual like I received in every other car I have purchased in my life WITHOUT DOWNLOADING IT?
Everyone is going to the downloadable manuals now. I like having the book to read one of my favorite things to do after I bought a car.
My 2020 has a complete paper manual.

My dog accidently hit 4WD low as I was going through a car wash while the Jeep was in neutral. I put it in drive and noticed it felt very funny, as my car couldn't accelerate. I drove home going around 45mph until I got home. I noticed a whining, whistling sound from the hood. I hope I didn't mess it up. Luckily I know how to turn that off now. It's a shame that I have to look this up on UA-cam on how to operate my vehicle.

I have a 2019 Cherokee trail hawk 69,000km and the 4 wheel drive unavailable light comes on randomly . Goes in to be looked at this week, not impressed at all.

Hello Joe! Per page 275 of your owner's manual it reads the following regarding 4WD, "With the vehicle at speeds of 0 to 3 mph (0 to 5 km/h), the ignition switch in the ON position or the engine running, shift the transmission into “N”, and push the “4WD LOW” button once on the transfer case switch. The “4WD LOW” indicator light in the instrument cluster will begin to flash and remain on solid when the shift is complete. My 2019 limited grand Cherokee in Chicago snowed really good Jan 31-2021i wanted to see how go it worked in the snow so I drove onto a level parking space at home that wasn’t plowed yet about 10-12 inches snow out in snow mode just dug in then 4w low dug in deeper then just auto and just spun wow very disappointing did I do something wrong or just not really a 4x4 Jeep my quad pulled me out
lol did you have winter tires ? Cause if you had those 4 season tire dont play in deep snow.

Don’t drive in water! These as clowns won’t warranty it. There is a lawsuit right now about this. Jeep will loose because they advertise that the Jeep is driving through water even though it will mess up the electronics on the wheels. Happened to a 98 ranger I had too so I sold it back to the dealer without letting him know that their garage couldn’t fix it
