    Thank you so much for the idea!! Making the pillar and I just ordered a dwarven texture roller from green stuff. Has some neat symbols and images. Going to use clear caulk, make symbols and dry brush leaving the inset parts clear letting out the light. Cut out parts of foam to let out light under the symbols. Then putting those pillars in an infinity mirror box for the Great Halls of Durin. Going to be so epic

    Those pillars look amazing. One quick tip about the pigments is that you can use pastel crayons as an alternative if they are out of stock, just make sure to not use the oil variety, I can tell you from experience that those don’t work as good while also being awful to work with on terrain as dust effects.

    • @TabletopWitchCRAFT
      @TabletopWitchCRAFT  3 роки тому

      So a tealight would be ok, but I see 2 issues. The first is that you would have to make the size of the pillar larger to fit around the tealight and the second is that I don't think the tealight would give off enough light to illuminate the runes properly.

    • @TabletopWitchCRAFT
      @TabletopWitchCRAFT  4 роки тому

      I use it on most of my crafts. You really need to do light bursts from at least a foot away. Once applied if you can see any sheen of spray on the craft you put too much. I have had my paint and foam bubble on me once with this and I applied it way too heavy. Better off doing multiple light coats (if needed but usually not) to be safe.
