I've been binge watching you more than Netflix! Awesome job! You should be proud. Ever thought about making the runes glow or a specific one glow when the tomb is opened as part of a campaign? *shrug* I haven't come across that yet if you have.
I've bit of a sculpting tip for you ( I don't want to teach to suck eggs or anything) but I noticed when you where sculpting the bowel etc they were moving all over the place (I know how annoying that can be.) I now have a sculpting station and I use several glass picture frames of different sizes for different size sculpts. the greenstuff/putty is sticky enough to adhere to the glass and when its dry it literally just comes off easily it would make these sculpting jobs so much easier. Thanks to your encouragement I've got into the sculpting side of things as it's a skill I seem to have that I didn't know I had, so I've been doing a lot of research into it. But my sculpting station is down to you and your channel I'd have never even attempted it until I saw you do your greenstuff sewer rat . Now I'm doing owls, bats, crows and I'm just learning how to do farm animals ( I'm planning a Wicker man build based on the 1972 movie) that's all thanks to you. so I thought I'd pass something back I've learned
I'm happy to hear you've found a new love of sculpting! You can do so much with little additions and details with it. As for the glass picture frame idea.... That's what I made them on :) I sculpt them on glass all the time, including the pieces made in this video. Great tip.
Get yourself a small pillar candle for heating up your pin and for heat shrinking. It will free up your hand and you can go from heating directly to the project in hand with out having to have a focus on where you are throwing the lighter aside. It will have it's own drawbacks with having a flame, but, if it also has a nice scent, it could be nice aroma therapy while you work. I used to do this when I would work on models for making holes, shaping sprue, or stretching it to make hinge pins.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite crafters. Love your work bud, can’t wait to see the rest of the builds. Are you going to do anything for elvish ruins?
That's cool that you have those amazon links in your description. I own a hobby shop (both online and off) and I should do the same thing for my store. - brilliant!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT It's a great idea, but I'm such a tiny hobby shop. It's hard for me to re-supply in mass quantities...but who knows if that will change if i do put the links in, right? what do I have to lose?
I really can't do magnets, they drive me nuts. no problem with lights diodes etc but magnets I can never get them level, or the poles right. So I gave up
Put two magnets together that you're going to use and put a mark on the outside of each with a marker. Then I always put the mark side into the glue and you'll get the polarity right every time. The key to making them level is putting them into the glue once it has cooled off a bit. Don't drop them right into really hot glue (yeah that can be a pain). Once they are in the hot glue that is a bit cool they are much easier to work with and level. Don't give up :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I will very probably have another go, I think the foam I used wasn't much good as it tends to melt even on the lowest hot glue setting. So for now I'll just use that up and then get some of the better stuff,

@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I have some very vintage model railroad lights (Edison type) I wonder if those would be too hot, over time, to melt through the styrofoam? Have you ever tried to light something with something not an LED?
