*_This is truly EPIC._* *_I can't quite grasp why you didn't WANT to paint it? This could have been a series of 6 episodes for you._* *_You are right, it's too small, I'd print it out 20% larger and yes, and a second one of almost mirror image(maybe remove a tower on one side?) would look AMAZING on a game board._*
I'm simple I see dwarf fortess and I click. I'd eat up seeing a massive Dwarven mountain fortress table with the 2 mirrored fortress statues facing each other
my sis didn't take me seriously then i said I wanted hers then I saw it in a flea market pile she had made, so then it didn't get sold she gave it to a second-hand shop or something. *sad I don't have the power noises*
Couldn’t make up my mind if I want to buy a resin printer, but after seeing the detail on this piece I’m torn between resin and fdm. What an amazing development for the hobby.
FDM is fine for terrain like this. For minis, Resin is the way to go. I have an FDM and my friend has Resin. We print for each other so we only each need one printer. :-)
Looks awesome that Luke, I'd love to see you build a dwarf-themed blood bowl pitch. I reckon it would be a fun small build that you could knock out in no time.
Just seen that they'll have files gor it for SLA.....that'd be awesome when done but christ that's a lot of resin 😬 will definitely try and get this though
Insane. Are there really people out there who want to spend hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours printing a big plastic mountain? No shade, just genuinely curious. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would want one if boxes showed up at their door, but this looks like a nightmare to me.
It seems like the kind of prop that will get used about once a year if that. And unlike a specific battle map, it's neither cheap nor small. Tenner says this thing gathers dust on your shelf for months 😂
If I were a mini manufacturer who did dwaeves and goblins, I'd do demos at big cons with this thing. It would pull people to your booth likw a giant magnet.
Not even that, this was a completely half assed presentation. He didnt even bother to prime it, he just sprinkled some dirt and snow and out of the door it went. If I was the sponsor I would be seriously disappointed
Man, that's probably like a month's worth of printing for the average hobby printer. Count your blessings they didn't just ship you 6 boxes of filament and a USB drive lol

Reminds me of the 80s castle greyskull playset - in the best kinda way. This thing is a monster!

I love terrain with playable insides, this looks very cool!
Terrain crafting and dwarf fortress, my two favorite things ^-^
That's a monstrous terrain piece! Awesome.
A beautiful piece. Very,very impressive.
Wow! Got to love a Dwarf Fortress

@@jamesflanagan3086 That’s great solution. Especially if you’re both into the hobby.
Print for 10mm scale for truely Epic’ness! Mix up with a bit of Forest Dragon & Green Skin Miniatures[insert chef kiss here]
Printing this on a CR10- S5 would be epic.

Playable insides, the terrain dream! 😀
😱Christmas has come early. This looks absolutely amazing
Amazing work amazing kit
Where's the dude with the wig?
The mirrored idea blew my mind when I pictured it. A buy for sure.
You could do a smaller scale version of this to do the double mountain thing, though you may not be able to use the interior at 6mm.
Cheers , Luke .

Good vid mate 👍
I would love to get the file for this if I had a printer. Too cool.
This would be fun for a Frostgrave or similar game!
Rock and stone

Would you be able to do a dense Sci-Fi Jungle tutorial. Think Paradisio for Infinity or Avatar as a reference. cheers 🙂
Make the dwarven battle board!
Excelent!!!!!
Bad ass

I’m 2 minutes and go Holy crap.
*whispers*
Diggy Diggy Hole
Listening as I watch Luke's video
Unfortunately, it seems like this channel turned into adverts and informercials for 3D printed Kickstarters.

For some reason, the words "playable insides" in the thumbnail made me think of my girlfriend.
