What a brilliant video! Zak is definitely one of the main reasons why McLaren have risen close to the top of the midfield. The environment at McLaren is a lot better than before and kudos to Zak for leading such a well-run team.

Tim Dev well he did if you watched the video lmao he had his own team and drove for his own team I used f1 game mode as an example because there is no other game that lets you own a team and drive for them
I didnt trust the process in 2017, i thought they would go down But since 2019 im a huge fan, and you have to respect that they went basically from 2nd worst team to 3rd best team (arguably)
They've had a great rise back to the upper midfield. Fantastic signings behind the scenes such as Zak, Andreas Seidl and James Key have been instrumental in their success.
Couldnt agree more i thought zak was going to be the man to kill mclaren but i was wrong. Hes made it into the social STAR of the grid. Who wouldn't want to be associated with that fun orange car and those high profile drivers.
Their decision to ditch out the Honda engine in 2018 probably a gamble for their future at the time, but at least they're successful with gained a lot of trust with the new investor
Hey mate, absolutely terrific video. I'm in the process of writing a book about a driver based loosely on Lando Norris, and I have my own version of Zak Brown and I couldn't for the life of me find anything that streamlined and explained his journey so this video helped immensely. Thank you!

Great vid! Zak has the perfect mix of racing passion and business knowledge. I can’t believe you’re only at 2k subs, this channel is going to blow up this year!

This video has insanely good video quality, along with amazing audio quality, it also made me like zak even more. I subbed, and i hope to see more videos like this, maybe of claire? considering her recent leave in F1, i think if you mention her name, it would give you a boost in viewers and or subscribers.

@@AlexTalksRacing terribly sorry, i didnt know you would respond this quick, but i did quickly check after i commented if you had already done toto, which you did, so i edited my message to ask for claire. Thanks for fast response tho!!

Great video! I think a lot of people still underestimate the importance of the personalities of the people in charge and the atmosphere they create. You could probably structure entire management courses around the F1 paddock, with so many examples of brilliant and disastrous leadership and management styles. Toto's incredible leadership skills and the atmosphere he creates brings out the best in people - you could have the exact same people in a team like Ferrari or Red Bull, and they wouldn't be performing at the same level - and that absolutely has a lot to do with that successes of Mercedes. Zak was the best thing to happen to McLaren in a long time, and bringing in Andreas was a brilliant move on his part. I have always been a fan of Mika Häkkinen, so I've always had somewhat of a soft spot for McLaren. Between Zak and Andreas, and now Ricciardo and a return to the Mercedes power unit, I'm really excited to see what they can do in the coming years. (And yes, I should include a nod towards the technical direction of James Key in improving the car, and the developing talent of Landon Norris)
earlier this year McLaren sent a job post for someone in marketing. I unfortunately don't have all the skills that they were after, but the environment in the team looks so fresh and exciting, that I know I would have absolutely loved it. There's so much passion in the sport, so being on a positive side of that is so important.
The team has transformed over the last 10 years from cold and clinical to fun and passionate without losing any of their drive to get back to the front!
The decision to re-brand and reorganise the management structure has been a success. McL is now has one of the best looking cars on the grid for me and Zak with Andreas beside him seem like a winning combination.
Hey man great video! Zak was at it again mid year wasn't he when there were rumours floating around of McLaren possibly being bankrupt but then he was able to pull in some royal money from Bahrain.
