They dont get paid for these either, they do them because; they already live in LA., they LOVE music, and they want to promote their colleagues in the performing arts community, besides, NONE of the celebrities they've had on need any more money, fame, or ...ahem...female companionship... they're fat, happy ,and looking to contribute to anything they really believe in ,now that they have 1000+yrs worth of blue collar wages stored up in Citibank, or Chase, and more free time than is healthy to squander...I would bet a weeks pay that Hawk thanked THEM for the slot, when he left the store.

Politics aside, as an avid NFL fan...Kap was not as good as people say. He actually regressed into a mediocre at best QB once defenses figured him out and took what he was good at away from him.
It inevitably weakens his protest. He didn't do it when he was a starting QB with a chance at championships. It came after he was exiled in shame to the bench and as a dissatisfied employee. You can't help but feel there is some disingenuous motive there to remain relevant while kind of hiding behind virtue.

I do appreciate old school country storytelling and it seems like he appreciates the difference between sincere honest country music and rubbish "yee haw, pick up trucks and whisky" songs that pass for country these days.
