I don't really talk about it at all because the concept is so alien to the people I know and work with that it would almost sound like I had something to do with it. I was naturally horrified by the whole idea of it. It was actually kept from me until the whole "transition" was complete, so I had no idea untill it was completed. They don't understand quite what I am talking about. The people I know and work with have zero idea this type of gender stuff exist to the level it does. Katrina, I would personally like to thank you for pointing out how domestic violence can effect women and how it's so much worse when the women grew up being abused. People raised in a more normal manner have no idea just how deeply it impacts every aspect of their lives. More than once I've heard a survivor being blamed for not having enough self esteem, how could they when everyday they were told they were worthless in a variety of ways. When people are nice to them, they don't understand why and the wait for "the other shoe to drop " gets so uncomfortable that it's just easier to hide away from the world. Ive also heard that an abused person deserved it because they chose to be with that person. Some don't show their true colors until they get the person away from any potential support system and others are too afraid to say no because they know what will happen, some think that everyone lives like that and TV, movies, books ect.are known fiction because from what they've seen of real life is nothing like that. You have done a good thing here giving a voice to those whom can't speak up for themselves. People need to know about things like this, but because it's dark and scary and touches hot button issues no one wants to talk about it. You have courage and done well. I hope you continue giving a voice to the voiceless.

Ive met all and had to work around all since the late 80s. I am shocked with all that he media coverage that they are not differentiated for the safety of women. Cross dressers dras as their fettish and get off on having an audience. They sometimes move into such a fantasy state, the longer they are posing as female, that they really do pose a risk to any female, young or old. There is a continuum, but the extreme are full on addicts, and mild might just need to wear stockings to "get off". They are hetro or course, or though they arnt selective in the extreme.
