Your new kitchen is gorgeous! So glad to see you back. I bought a brisket this weekend and did half in the oven at 300 for about 3 hours and half in the instant pot for 75 mins and a 15 min natural release. I preferred the oven method, I felt the flavors were more concentrated, but still delish! I love brisket!
For making a whole brisket I still feel oven is the way to go! But I do love these brisket snack bites!

A little trick I use with the plastic bag is to put it in a large cup or glass, pull the top edges open over the top of the container. Easier to fill when the bag isn't floppy and I'm less likely to drop the filling all over the counter.
I like to reheat the broth I did not use in a recipe - and allow the fat to congeal on top again - seems to help it keep much longer.
You are such an encouragement and inspiration to us carnivore/ keto newbies! I’m sure those who have been with you awhile are still going strong with your cooking skills, and delivery. Love the new kitchen, brightness for you, inside and outside.

Hi Anita, my long hair chihuahua is carnivore too. 😂 She is 15 and she has benefited greatly, doing carnivore with me. Her doctor thinks it's awesome.
My Yorkie is 9 and about 6 months ago we changed him to Carnivore as well and he is thriving! He has crazy puppy energy again. Love it!

Anything that I would normally do low and slow, I now cook in the IP on Meat for 15min per pound and it always comes out fall apart tender. Have fun in the new kitchen 🎉

🌼Awww~ love the ferry shots so much, what a nice segway! I've been on those ferries many times, the first being a 6th grade honor's class trip over to the island in 1976~ what a thrill that was! My own hometown is Olympia WA & I spent a lot of time in the Bellingham area over the years. I even worked for a time in the historical Bellingham Herald building, which I just adored- so beautiful!

I still add mayo to my cod liver deviled eggs. Sometimes I add Dijon or miso and it's very good in cod liver deviled eggs.

So good to see you again. I watched your live video but not while it was live. So happy your move went well and hoping you will be very happy in your home and location with your family. This was such a good video. I'm still in the process of convincing myself to go carnivore and I think I'm getting really close. Showing me how to make a variety of meals and foods is really helping me. I've never been a big fan of beef but it's growing on me. I have a few carnivore meals a week and will shortly be all carnivore. Baby steps for me.

Many that have problems with oxalates are more sensitive to black pepper cos they're higher in oxalates. White pepper is milder.

Your kitchen is stunning!!! I’m discovering that I’m sensitive to most seasonings- especially black pepper, paprika, chili powder and cumin. I used to think those were my favorites but now I’m learning to appreciate plain salt, garlic powder and onion powder at most.
I can't even tell you how much I miss cumin! But I sure love how good I feel!

Here in Alabama from June to September, I use my instant pot , air fryer, and electric skillet. 😂
I have chosen to crack my eggs and put in the egg bite molds, saves peeing.
Rarely now do I use the trivet when cooking; roasts, ribs, chicken, pork, ground beef for soup. I separate and reduce reserve both any fat and liquid for broths. I usually season after.

Welcome back!! I only do my brisket in the Instant Pot these days - 90 minutes for a 4-5 lb brisket. Works really well.

Anyway I just made your liver deviled eggs and they are delicious - very rich - I could only eat two individual halves... but oh my gosh sooo delicious. I bought a case of cod liver 2 months ago and I just find them too much to eat solo (I should try it cold.) I'm so happy to have a delicious recipe that I can use them in.
