    I love crunchy bits. When I bought half a cow last year, I had the processor not trim any fat off of the meat. So my steaks have a lot of fat. I use pieces from the cooked steaks and crisp them up in the air fryer. Yum! You have some great recipes here for leftover meat. Simple and so good to eat.

    love this! just this evening i cut up my leftover meatloaf and crisped it up in my brand new baby air fryer from Aldi. My husband who is not carnivore had his meat pieces in a taco setting. i had meat “cereal” with sour cream on top. So proud of myself for reinventing the meatloaf. So great to see your reinventions also. I’m making a particular point to honor the life given for me to have food and to not waste any of it. Thank you for your videos and your inspiration. I’m three months low carb and two months carnivore. all my health issues are fixed and i’m at my first goal weigh. i honestly can’t believe this. i’m almost 65!

      Hi Shelly. My sister is diabetic and mom is 83 and both eat the SAD diet. I started carnivore June 1 this year, and I feel great! They are constantly asking me if I want this or that treat, and I always turn it down in hopes that one day, they will be more curious about why i am so healthy, and their health, as hard as it is to watch, declines. YOU have to make the right chices for YOU, even when it seems that friends and family are trying to show love through food, you have to be loving back to them by being strong enough and determined enough in your health choices to stay the course that is right for you. I even cook lovingly for them as a caregiver, and respect their decisions for how they make their health choices. Be strong and courageous. YOU can do this for you, and still be a loving member of your family and friend groups. 🎉

      I've dealt with spatter mess myself, and I did find some spatter covers on Amazon. The trick is to get one that is suitable for the size of pan you're using. I saw one video that showed how the person cooked bacon in the oven and used a pizza pan to stop the spatter.

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  Рік тому +2

      Kathy I have found that using the air fryer has completely stopped any grease build up any where on my kitchen. They don't splatter grease while cooking and they are super easy to clean up. A splatter screen on any saute pan stops my splatters like Anita mentioned. BTW, my Ninja air fryer is 1 yea ttf old, I used it at leas tg 5 times a week and it still looks brand new.😀🥩

    I really do like your recipes, it's nice to be able to use some things like Glycine powder and or stevia in say, heavy whipping cream along with some eggs and cream cheese and what not. Before watching your channel I never thought about those things as I associated them with carbs in the first place. But they aren't, they are very healthy when used right. Especially Glycine!

I sliced it and set on tray in oven on low heat ( admittedly, thinking I was going to make Carnivore flour…..what a ditz, was far too fatty lol) but after it cooked for a few hours, it smelled and looked so delicious, I put it in a bowl and ate it with fingers……..nom nom nom. I have made meat chips because I like the crunch of a chip. I haven't tried beef jerky yet but it's the same process, just cut the meat along the grain for jerky and against the grain for chips. Also can be done in a low oven but summer heat in the kitchen could be an issue depending on where you live.

    • @PinkLady54
      @PinkLady54 Рік тому

      one of those new fangled toaster oven, air fryer type things with a yogurt setting would work for meat chips.
      I do use my dehydrator cuz I have one & already own a regular air fryer AND toaster convection oven so... I can not justify another purchase until one blows up 😜
      If money was no object, I might get an Anova Precision Oven as I think it does EVERYTHING including sous vide!!
      Which I do not have 🥺
      Unless Your oven goes down to 150°F I'm not sure quality of meat chips... but try a small amount so You don't loose much if it doesn't work perfectly.
      I did bacon jerky in my oven at 170°F & it worked good.

    Hi Anita. I have never tried cooking meat into crispy bits because i enjoy it rare to medium rare. Can the crispy bits be stored in some way and used like the dried meat snacks... can they be ground into meat flour? Thank you again for these fun ideas❤

      Me too, I like my beef rare to Med Rare! But the crispy bits to me are more like snacks and yes they can be used and stored like that! I am not sure about grinding them into flour because I haven't tried but I think that could work too!

    Is that a butcher block counter top? It looks so nice! Oh, we call that a “meat masher”. I’ve never actually seen a title for it. I got mine at Dollar Tree. Yummy, that beef soup looks good! I’m semi new to your channel. Have you done priming? I need to do something. I’ve gained and can’t afford to. You know what I mean? I am 52, menopausal and just eat Ketovore when I’m hungry. Any suggestions? Just wondering if priming might help.

      The countertop on the island is acacia! I'm afraid to cut on it like a butcher block so I'm using cutting boards! I have trouble with priming because I hate feeling stuffed. I don't think people lose weight while they are priming, the intention is to eat 3 meals a day until you are stuffed to get your body to know what full means and then you go into fasting and feasting.

    • @PinkLady54
      @PinkLady54 Рік тому

      @@KetogenicWoman I think You are wise to not cut on it!!
      You can, but it would mean serious resurfacing regularly & when You have cutting boards You are used to using - why not?!
      Then maybe You can use it for a large charcuterie board when the whole house gets together for parties!! 😉🎉👍🏼

    Hi Anita. I had a quick question about the soup recipe. Could you add spices with the soup? Not sure if carnivore includes
    any spices besides salt.

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  11 місяців тому

      Depends on your goals and reasons for doing carnivore! If you have autoimmune issues you want to eliminate everything to help heal that. If this is more for general health and weight loss then use a minimal amount of spices that you can tolerate.

    • @KetogenicWoman

      No I don't think you need to watch calories unless you are having some sort of issues, then it could be something to look at. But generally if you are simply eating meat to satiety and are feeling good then calories should not be a concern.
