Battlefield Bad Company 2 would be a good game for one of these. Because every character has a story arc. Except the antagonists It summarizes American politics using character interactions and the many, unique story arc’s Also, it is a mystery/first-person shooter. It is like a story of LA Noire but it is a Call of Duty style fps with zany and crazy antics. Also, it has an alternate history Backstory. The backstory is about how Russia causes a communist revolution in South America. Which puts the NATO counties in a perpetual state of war. Like 1984. This might be applicable to today’s international interactions Also it has funny dialogue The only flaw in the story is that a common pattern is the protagonists change locations everytime kinda having the Alien Isolation problem. Except, every time the setting changes it solved a piece of the mystery. The pattern that the software development team had to implement follows this formate 1)Go to a location 2.)complete the mission 3.)the reward for completing the mission is, another clue to solve the mystery. 4.)this makes the climax very effective So it uses a story formate that can be successfully reproduce using software and hardware This concludes my argument for the next game to be covered by this channel after like 1.5 years EXTRA stuff for people who care about the Hero’s Journey And it has a profound theme about soldiers making the decision to do what is right or to blindly follow orders without understanding the situation of the people you are fighting . So a war that is kinda effecting everyone right now. A game that has a message about this exact international situation. Maybe a good way to make money? Just a thought The writers of this game prioritized Historical accuracy. History is important because of the ending of the Fallout New Vegas DLC :Lonesome Road, the argument with Ulysses. Also the music is pretty good

@@SpaceMonkeyBoi tbh, that was a weak sauce comeback, it's basically "no you"
And tbh, again, I thought the comment was going somewhere and it wasn't so I kinda agree with the guy being an asshole lol
The use of SMT music makes me hope one day they can cover some games from that series
I was playing this game back then with mediocre to low understanding of English and an equally low interest for a good story, but this game really made my day in my junior high days, where i would just keep thinking about getting home and shooting dinos all day in school. Fast forward, now i'm in my 20's and it's really hilarious how the story actually goes lmao. It's nothing like the all serious, dino and soldier shooting crazy cool setting my mind has.
Thanks algorithm for popping this suddenly in my recommendations, and thank you for making this vid. It was absolutely entertaining.
Just the editing style and commentery make this a 5 star channel. This channel needs to grow huge, immediately.
I'm convinced technology evolved to this point solely for the purposes of Internet Historian showing off his godlike editing skills.
he doesn't edit any of this
“It’s always that way in dreams isn’t it, your majesty” was my favourite line 3:46
Idk why but following up his previous "ad men" with a googly-eyed sock puppet is the funniest thing in the world to me. What a special brain that man must have.
I wish to kiss the feet of the individual who included part of the Extreme Dinosaurs intro at 9:49, truly a classic
All your ad characters are brilliant but sponsor sock is my favorite - I don’t know why.
I like to imagine you were running out of time to submit the ad and the clock was running down to zero. You get up looking around the room frantically and yell “fuck it!” You take off your sock, do the shoot, and slap the video together. Work of art.
Can’t believe they actually got hellboy to be in their game.
Kinda weird that he kept referring to himself as ‘Slade’.
You forgot the hidden ending, Ron and Turok lived happily ever after and had 100 dinosaur/human hybrid kids
Turok's gonna have more chronic traumatic encephalopathy than the whole NFL
The howling sends me everytime the 'wolfpack' is mentioned
My favorite part is when Ron Pearlman said yo little Donnie to the dinosaurs.
I miss Soldier #3 already.
My favourite part is when he said "its turok time!" And turokd all over them
Time...to...rock.
and then kissed his boy friend and turokd all over his face
Between all the different channels it almost feels like a regular upload schedule
Traversing a exploding spaceships and napping…so proud of the accurate representation of my people
Must be humbling to have the Queen's last media appearance on your channel Mark. Congrats to you, and RIP Queen Liz.
Would unironically love 'My Stepmother's Friends' to be expleened.
"The bow was their weapon of choice"
Well we know that's not true. The moment Amerindians got access to guns, they chose them in every situation.
they culturally appropriated white people
Don't forget "gunstock club", where a broken gun becomes a club.
Incorrect, firearms were hard to come by. Ammo more so, that's where the bow excelled most warriors carried 6 or less arrows as they can be recovered. Navajo and Apache warriors could shoot 6 arrows in as little as 4 seconds.
@@rrchicken117 Wrong. Something being "hard to come by" just means that there are still people who didn't have access to it yet. Show me one group who didn't use them when they had them.
@@HulkHogan69 They couldn't produce ammo. In the custers last stand there were estimated to be more than 2 thousand warriors and only a few had rifles.
I can’t believe how much I didn’t know I wanted this wow this brings back so many memories
yea me too! i might of found it on internet archives for pc since it is not available digitally anymore anywhere
Mark helping his lizard ancestor with dental procedures in the thumbnail is pretty wholesome.
I'd love to see the Historian- I- I mean... Mr. Zuckerberg taking a crack at explaining the Metal Gear Solid series
I’m from the future, and I have some good news for you.

I literally had no idea Internet Historian had this channel until it just popped up in my recommended and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that familiar, soothing New Zealander accent
wtf didnt know he was from NZ, time to unsubscribe, thanks for the notice
Yeah he didn't even mention it until more recently. I found it the same way lol. I think he wanted to see how naturally he could grow it at first without it being attached to the internet historian name.
Unfortunately many of his videos 'disappeared' :(
I got this game at release, don’t think I ever ended up beating it lmao
I always get stuck in the level with the stupid cave monster. To this day, I never know how the game ended.
@@TheThing4444 That's exactly where I got stuck and fell off too. I remembered playing this when it came out but couldn't remember if I finished it or not until they showed that part in this video. Brought back repressed, frustrated memories lol.
I remember it being so fucking difficult, and the respawn locations were sooooooo faaaaaaar apart.
@@TheThing4444
Glad to know I’m not the only one
Fuck that eel
I didn't find time to beat it, but found time to beat your.... 😐
“That’s not Ron Perlman is it?”
“It is”
“Hey got it in one”
Me: “…hour?”
My dad and I played the N64 Turok for months before we beat it. One of the hardest games I ever played in my life
"Dinosaur innit" has me dead 💀
Storymode may not have milk but at least he reads to me at night 🥲
The control scheme for this game on n64 was bonkers. This game developer also made that crazy south park shooter game back in 1998.
The remaster on PS4 has a lot of controller and video options that make it a pretty good experience now. Highly recommend it 👌
Love how _call into the night_ starts to playing when Ron Perlman's character speaks.
You had me at "he kisses the guard.. an he faints" hahahah
Turok is so powerful because he is well rested. Let that be a lesson. Get at least 9 hours and 3 naps a day, and you will be near bulletproof.
Onerock was one hell of a game
I remember my sister got this game when she first got a PS3. We played it, not knowing what the game was about, and she was too scared to play it because of the dinosaurs lol
I always just played Turok games for the deep thoughts and philosophy of its protagonist. I live by his words, "I AM TUROK!!!!"
RIP Lizzie, glad to see Mark is taking a break to mourn his coworker! ❤️
Battlefield Bad Company 2 would be a good game for one of these.
Because every character has a story arc.
Except the antagonists
It summarizes American politics using character interactions and the many, unique story arc’s
Also, it is a mystery/first-person shooter.
It is like a story of LA Noire but it is a Call of Duty style fps with zany and crazy antics.
Also, it has an alternate history Backstory. The backstory is about how Russia causes a communist revolution in South America. Which puts the NATO counties in a perpetual state of war. Like 1984. This might be applicable to today’s international interactions
Also it has funny dialogue
The only flaw in the story is that a common pattern is the protagonists change locations everytime kinda having the Alien Isolation problem.
Except, every time the setting changes it solved a piece of the mystery.
The pattern that the software development team had to implement follows this formate
1)Go to a location
2.)complete the mission
3.)the reward for completing the mission is, another clue to solve the mystery.
4.)this makes the climax very effective
So it uses a story formate that can be successfully reproduce using software and hardware
This concludes my argument for the next game to be covered by this channel after like 1.5 years
EXTRA stuff for people who care about the Hero’s Journey
And it has a profound theme about soldiers making the decision to do what is right or to blindly follow orders without understanding the situation of the people you are fighting .
So a war that is kinda effecting everyone right now.
A game that has a message about this exact international situation.
Maybe a good way to make money?
Just a thought
The writers of this game prioritized Historical accuracy.
History is important because of the ending of the Fallout New Vegas DLC
:Lonesome Road,
the argument with Ulysses.
Also the music is pretty good
This channel makes me realize how much of a MGS fan this man is
Mr. Storymode (aka Internet Historian), I have noticed that many of your videos have been privated. Would you kindly make a community post explaining their absence?
You're right! So many videos are gone.
What a shame. I rewatched them every few months :(
First video I’ve watched on your channel. Subbed immediately after hearing this is the sequel of Onerok . Looking forward to the binge.
This will always be remembered as Her Majesty’s final work
My favorite part of the game was when turok saw the Trex and said "its turkin time" and then kick flipped on his skateboard, landing on the dinosaurs neck, snapping it
and all the babes cheered
I hope you guys do Breakdown (2003) at one point. That game was trippy as hell. Awesome work!
Just when I thought I'd have to sit in the dark all night alone again... Storymode drops that new new.
Thanks, gents.
I wish this was the 'main' channel lmao. I love these videos so damn much.
Can’t wait for the prequel where solider 3 is given an in-depth backstory and it takes place entirely underwater before the dinosaurs have emerged from the ocean
My favourite part was when the protagonist said "we want turok you" and flashbacked
Can’t get enough of IH vids, I need more expleenations
