I've contacted Yorkville about replacement amp modules for my LS801Ps and they basically said they replace them with these Class D modules now as they are discontinued subwoofers now. I'm currently waiting for a pair to be shipped, and can't wait to fire the old boys up again!

Friend, my English is not good, I don't understand much but I would like to know if you recommend that brand since a JBL EON 618 subwoofer was damaged and I'm about to want to grab one like that, they have 618 for the same one.@@Barry-Watson
I would prefer to opt for repairing or replacing the amplifier with the original JBL model. In my opinion, its build quality is likely superior, and it preserves the speaker's originality. While some individuals have encountered issues with aftermarket LASE amplifiers, I have had positive personal experiences with them. However, the LASE amplifier seems somewhat lighter, suggesting it may not match the quality of the original OEM product. Nonetheless, given my positive experiences, I would be open to selecting the LASE as an alternative if obtaining an original OEM amplifier unit proves difficult or overly expensive.

Do you have any experience with rack mount Lase power amps such as Lase 4000 and Lase 6000? I would love to see a review on them. thanks

Haven't really considered it. That old amplifier is not working properly and it's pretty heavy + big to ship. I looked at it a while back, and I don't think it's a simple repair issue. Probably not cost effective to ship and repair compared to purchasing a new unit like this LASE model, or maybe you can get a working OEM replacement from Yorkville?

Yea throw that thing away. This company makes their money by making fake copies of real products. It’s a knockoff company. Don’t promote them.
Please let me know what product you think I should have purchased instead. This plate amplifier is definitely not a copy of the original OEM amplifier, and so far, for me it's working very well. Who do you claim they are copying?
This was the only non-oem amplifier module that I found that properly fits this model subwoofer. If you know of a better product that would also be a perfect fit I would be curious to hear about it.
When I explored product reviews, there were a couple of negative reviews regarding the LASE amplifier modules, but just about any company occasionally has an unhappy customer. Overall the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and so far that has been my experience as well. Thanks for your input.
@BarryWatsonAudio this specific product is not a copy. This company however is all over the internet and alibaba selling knockoff RCF, JBL and other companies products. They sell complete cabinets as if they were RCF, JBL etc at 1/4 of the price.
They may have had good intentions when they made THIS product but that goes by the wayside when you see what they're actually doing.
Thanks, I've seen lots of import products that are good quality and great value. But, we also sometimes see where some companies take the cost cutting a little too far. I have a particular problem with some of the fake knockoff products like counterfeit Shure microphones and counterfeit electronic component parts that do not perform as well as the original, and deceive customers.

I would prefer to replace it with an OEM amplifier if it was readily available. The original amplifier uses a linear power supply, with a big heavy transformer, the new one is all digital and lightweight and typical clean looking import manufacturing. So far, I don't have any complaints about the performance of the replacement amplifier.
