@@thelmsrmall1125 but good thing they can say no if they're full, in this case, they didn't have a Media Noche since they didn't know everything closes already by 6-7pm, they were planning to get Jollibee so they haven't eaten for midnight. They get to taste home made food and not fastfood, as they said. For foreigners I think it's good for them, they didn't have rice so they're aren't full, d other one didn't eat as much since he has indigestion problem. They are Americans, they will say no if they wanted to, they don't sugarcoat it or pretend like if u're a fellow Filo it's hard to refuse coz the others will feel bad and some might tease or gaslight u for being choosy. No matter how pushy our culture is, Americans will say no or yes based on what they think & feel & tell u how it tastes exactly as it is, not pretending if it's too sweet or too strong or too interesting without offending others, guys with onionskin will take offense but this is how Filipinos can learn to accept others when they say no, it doesnt mean the food or drink is bad either.

Filipinos know how to party and still keep it friendly. Warm, welcoming, sweet, happy. I'm so glad I moved here from the USA, never want to go back. And best of all I found a sweet traditional housewife and mommy type here, my wife is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
I told you it's insane! The fireworks are crazy, but it's nowhere near back 10-20 years ago. The intensity of the fireworks could last 'til 1 to 2 am. 4:46 It's like a warzone! Happy New Year Biscuit Bois & Ducky I hope you had a BLAST! 🤣🤣🤣👍
His 1st alcoholic drink is Alfonso Light! Happy New Year! That was an awesome NY experience. Filipinos are friendly. The family who invited, fed, & entertained you are so nice. Kudos to them.
Lol. I love it. I moved to the US when I was 13 years old and it was the most depressing Xmas and New year where no one is outside because it's cold even in California. This year, it was pouring rain in Northern CA so we got flooding even in parts of SF. Fireworks is illegal, anyway. :) One of the best memories I has as I child in the Philippines was New Year where it was the only time of the year all the kids were allowed to stay up and walk around the neighborhood and every house is having a party and anyone is invited. The best neighborhood block parties you could find. I've spent decades of New Years in the US and I've gotten used to it now. It is jarring though when you first move from a country that does an all out celebration for Xmas and New Year and going to country that doesn't. Glad you got to experience it.
pre pandemic i Spent so many christmas and new years in that country and it was the best time of my life! New year in the philippines is like no other! i heard from my friends there a lot of firework factories have closed, only few survive. so they expect more expensive ones and just few people can afford. but look at that, the skies still lightup like amazingly crazy! alho i've seen in your video few in the streets. Hopefully in the coming years, traditions will comeback like street party everywhere like every street and people are drinking, eating outside of their houses and welcomes strangers to join them, dancing with loud music! my goodness just have them all in my head now! They dont even bothered if government has prepared a fireworks for them, they prepared for themselves and enjoy, forgetting all challenges in life coz why not? life is too short! i loved it! should be in guinness record!
I can't believe you'd still see this kind of hospitality in the city. This is usually common in provinces, literally they invite every passersby inside to eat. Glad biscuit bois enjoyed the new year here in PH 😊

Happy New Year!! That tilapia (fish) is either steamed or grilled. Filipinos don't usually put ripe mangoes in dishes, what made that dish sweet and sour might just be the combination of (cherry) tomatoes, salt and lemon. Kakanin is the term for rice cakes. Barbecue gets its flavor and color from banana ketchup and soy sauce.
on second thought, it could be stuffing/filling: red onion/brown sugar/unripe mangoes (along with the combination mentioned above) that could make a grilled/steamed fish taste a bit sweet.
One tradition in the Ph during new year is to say No for an invation..good thing you made it..your able to celeb new year with hospitality of Filipinos..good luck guys for the whole year...
Christmas and New Year in the Philippines esp in cities are always like war esp New Year, I remember growing up in the 90s, almost are houses are lit up with Christmas lights and both Xmas and New Year are always so loud, it's always a fun time. People or families gather together karaoke, street party, eating together, esp at midnight. Fireworks, firecrackers, car owners honking and many more, any way to make noise. kids jumping which is a superstition so they'll grow, or people shaking the coins which is another superstitiion to bring more prosperity for the year. In the last recent years, although Ph celebrate Xmas as early as September but some people are not into celebrating or not as festive compared to before. The one that you experience is just a snippet of the traditional Filipino New Year celebration, It's much louder than that but I'm glad you're all safe. New year can be a cause of firecracker accidents but many Filipinos have learned their lesson to be safe always since that's always been the case for years. hehe. Happy New Year TriFate. More power to 2023!
Bayanihan is the Filipino comradeship or filipino brotherhood so a lot of the Filipinos are friendly to most foreigners. They want to express their hospitality to visitors and share what ever they have to people who visit out of friendliness. Happy New Year guys. I hope the New Year brings more good luck and happiness to all. May we all share the blessings of good fortune and that it is spread to all the people and families all over. God Bless us all. 🙏
I've been smiling all throughout the video. These two boys are really nice. I've met them already. In fact, me and my friend were in their past vlog, I won't tell which one. hehehe..
Filipinos’ love language is feeding or sharing food 🙂 The fireworks/firecrackers were tamer this year because of the inflation. It’s louder and crazier before pandemic (and before Duterte government) that the hospitals were literally full with patients from firecracker accidents. There were even victims of stray bullets. But I must say you had an epic new year’s experience 🎉👏🏼. Happy 2023 to you both! 😊
Its like war is going on with those fireworks. The reason I love my country is because of its traditions and people. Hi Trifate I love this video. Thank you very much! You captured the legit celebrations of New Year in Philippines! 😁😁😁😂😂😂😂🤩🤩🤩
Once they offered you guys a drink, I was like “do it, do it, do it!” Ahahaha So fun! So happy for you guys. That’s the way to celebrate in the Philippines!
Kodus to Kuya na naka red and his family ❤️❤️❤️ gracias.. more blessings to come from God.. Super kind and hospitable nila po.. they offered drinks and food.. that is why i am proud as a Filipino...
Wow 🎉 you definitely got the most epic shot of how New Years is like in the PH. They fed you really good food! They seem really nice. Filipinos get shy when they have to speak a lot of English. Lol. Happy New Year and may you have more subscribers to continue your vlogging career. 😊
That family who gave you food and drinks tho! Hahahaha well, it happens in festivities; families randomly giving food and drinks. There's a lot of reasons for this: the inherent friendliness definitely is one; there's also how Filipinos have this mindset of being grateful when we do get boutiful blessings so we want to share it around to pay it forward somehow; and there's also the case of families having too much food on the table that they'd rather do some kindness rather than let the food spoil (because that food will take weeks to finish and festive foods that have been plated in large quantities can spoil very fast). Eventually it became a custom/norm/tradition among families especially those who think they're lucky enough to be able to have a spread at the table during festivities.
Metro manila fireworks it's a battleground. The celebrations of new years here in the philippines are different 💯 compare to the other countries. fireworks and party drinking are everywhere 😅 A blessed year to all of us. 💕
Oh! wow it's like a war zone,I really love how they celebrate the new years eve in the PHILIPPINES with those amazing fireworks, while in our place it's boring in a freezing cold like in a huge cold storage it's crazy.Happy new year guys and to every one 🙏❤🇨🇦🇵🇭
Filipino way give and share they're food to strangers or ever they meet once in they're lifes and take yo from our home thats hospitality of a Filipino
what I'm thankful this past NYE celebration is that there's no stray bullet incident happened (as far as I know) and no mass shootings happened unlike in the US that's kinda so sad.
@@sprikitik9719 So true, hope many will read this so they will be informed of other cultures too.
I am here in Canada and I will be very honest nithing beat the Philippines when it comes to celebrating Christmas and New Year. I miss Philippines. 😢❤🎉

It's a good thing that the person who invited you guys is a man in uniform, so you're in good hands.Filipinos are known for their hospitality and I'm glad you enjoyed your New Year here in the Philippines. I like the rawness of your videos, it shows the typical Filipino life and culture.Keep it coming.
It's really more fun in the Philippines at any given time - whether it's an ordinary day or a grand occasion. Filipino hospitality is the best. Happy New Year my trifate friends.🎉🥳🇵🇭🇺🇸
Celebrated Christmas and New year away from the Philippines for the first time and I can say that nothing beats Christmas in the Philippines. I miss it already 🥺
Yup, the fourth of July is almost as quiet as a mouse compared to new year's in the Philippines. Glad you got to experience Filipino hospitality firsthand- major props to the friendly freelancer guy and his family.
paulit ulit naman si kooyaa pilipino hospitaliteee
Every drunk tito
It's so nice for the two of you to grace this family's home.

Didn’t expect to bawl like a damned baby while watching this video. I haven’t been home since December 2019, really miss the fireworks and the lechon and the karaoke and drinking all night on New Year’s Eve. Thank you so much for the video dudes! Never realised how I missed the Philippines so much until I watched this. Definitely looking forward to finally spending Christmas and New Year holidays in year 2023 after 4 years abroad. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Filipinos know how to party and still keep it friendly. Warm, welcoming, sweet, happy. I'm so glad I moved here from the USA, never want to go back. And best of all I found a sweet traditional housewife and mommy type here, my wife is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
Shout out sa Family na nagpakain sa kanila....
I love my kababayans HOSPITALITY salute to you! ❤❤❤❤❤
That's a milestone. 😂 Zac having his 1st shot of alcohol on the streets of QC. Hahaha. Happy New Year biscuit bois and Ducky. 🥳
And it was a hard drink too. Lol! Western teens usually have beers as their 1st alcoholic drink.😂
Lol. Glad you got to experience it.
ang bait nmn ni kuya good job big brotha
pre pandemic i Spent so many christmas and new years in that country and it was the best time of my life!
Im so happy you finally socialize with the locals! Good job boys!
I can't believe you'd still see this kind of hospitality in the city. This is usually common in provinces, literally they invite every passersby inside to eat. Glad biscuit bois enjoyed the new year here in PH 😊
Oh wow! This was really a frackin' epic new year experience for you boys haha. Insane fireworks, first drinking shot and sumptuous home-cooked meals taste test. So satisfying to watch! The steamed Tilapia is super! 😋 Cheers to a more fun and epic 2023 for you Tyler and Isaac 🙏🎉♥️
They just missed the karaoke sessions with the locals hehe
Yes! The "cruise chef" who made the food said "steamed tilapia" is "Pinaputok Na Tilapia" literally means "Exploded Tilapia" exploded with tomatoes, garlic and onion fillings.
@@thelmsrmall1125 yeah🥰 and explosion of flavors haha, super masarap(yum). Props to the cruise chef and of course to the awesome host/family that made the bizkit boiz new year a memorable one 😎 Happy and blessed new year to you 🙏🎉
@@malamuchibaby1132 haha, oh yeah ,that would be really fun! 😊 Happy and blessed 2023 to you🙏🎉

Im not old enough in the US-- but u arent in the US, lol cheers to u! Salamat sa mga nag-imbita sa kanila, kay kuya sir, sa pinsan nya, sa ate nya at sa jowa ni pinsan, yes we guys will welcome u with food and some drinks , he invited u in with whole heart
That's how Filipinos celebrate New Year's Eve with Media Noche a New Years Eve Midnight celebration.
One tradition in the Ph during new year is to say No for an invation..good thing you made it..your able to celeb new year with hospitality of Filipinos..good luck guys for the whole year...
kuya ryan is trying his best just to make you guys feel comfortable..what a great guy..
We filipinos are very hospitable!happy new year frackers🍾🥳🤗
Omg! Im starving! Im happy to see you eating food to a neighborhood. I love it
Christmas and New Year in the Philippines esp in cities are always like war esp New Year, I remember growing up in the 90s, almost are houses are lit up with Christmas lights and both Xmas and New Year are always so loud, it's always a fun time. More power to 2023!
kudos to kuya superman and his family..for keeping the filipino hospitality
Bayanihan is the Filipino comradeship or filipino brotherhood so a lot of the Filipinos are friendly to most foreigners. They want to express their hospitality to visitors and share what ever they have to people who visit out of friendliness. Happy New Year guys. I hope the New Year brings more good luck and happiness to all. May we all share the blessings of good fortune and that it is spread to all the people and families all over. God Bless us all. 🙏
I've been smiling all throughout the video. These two boys are really nice. I've met them already. In fact, me and my friend were in their past vlog, I won't tell which one. hehehe..
A'tin spotted. Haha
I am sooo happy for you guys! Thanks to the family who welcomed you this New Year! Hope you had a great time around the street. 🎆🙌🥰
Filipinos’ love language is feeding or sharing food 🙂
The fireworks/firecrackers were tamer this year because of the inflation.
Yup. Because if you declined....I don't know....in front of his sisters.....not good
Kudos to that guy, he's so nice and accommodating to the epic duo. Happy New year!!
Happy that you stayed and experienced new years eve celebration in The Philippines..🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭💥💥💥🎆🎆🎆🎉🎉🎉🎇🎇🎇👍👍👍👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗💙💙💙
That's how fun the Christmas and the New Year Celebration in the philippines! :)
Must be very majestic seeing fireworks everywhere on that location! 🎉
Got jealous.. i want to also experienced watching New Years Eve Fireworks from above the building.. hihi
Metro manila fireworks it's a battleground. The celebrations of new years here in the philippines are different 💯 compare to the other countries. fireworks and party drinking are everywhere 😅 A blessed year to all of us. 💕
Hindi man lang nagpapa upo,ng bisita happy new years guys wellcom to the Philippines cristhmas new year,

Oh! wow it's like a war zone,I really love how they celebrate the new years eve in the PHILIPPINES with those amazing fireworks, while in our place it's boring in a freezing cold like in a huge cold storage it's crazy.Happy new year guys and to every one 🙏❤🇨🇦🇵🇭

I miss New Years back home.
You got that million $ view of the fireworks and the party on the streets…Happy New Year Tyler & Isaac!
I really enjoyed this. Real life. I have had a few of these experiences . They are priceless,
what I'm thankful this past NYE celebration is that there's no stray bullet incident happened (as far as I know) and no mass shootings happened unlike in the US that's kinda so sad. I'm so thankful you guys can walk around here safe & made it to get along with some Pinoys. Glad you had a good time.😊
So far this is one of the best view EVER imagine going back to the past to see where theres fireworks were allowed
VERY EPIC! thank you for gladly blending in with my fellow "pinoys!" you are so kind and accepting. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 💥💥💥 the last food that isaac ate was "pinaputok na tilapia" oh and when are you trying out philippines' famous "balot" (fertilized duck egg). hope you explore our country longer. ENJOY! 🇵🇭
Good to see you guys.more blessings to come 2023...keep safe
