This set will be great if the Pokemon company decides to continue the 151 theme. Next year we get Pokemon 251. They have Celebi on the box, we get reprints of some of the Gen2 pokemon and alt arts. It would be great to have a box for each generation. Let me know if you agree.

My friend went to Japan and brought me two packs of 151. I pulled Giovanni’s Ambition secret rare! Not bad for two packs.
Just heard about this set like a week ago, and it's going to be my first time getting back into Pokémon TCG since the original release. I'm definitely going to set out the goal of completing this set, and then I'll see if I want to expand and niche my collection from there.

Finally someone that is talking about the Venusaur evolution line! I LOVE those 3 cards and I feel like they are not talked about enough. In my opinion those are really the standout cards of a great set.
In a booster bundle I pulled a Zard ex, Venusaur full art non alt, your Psyduck full art, and the Zapdos alt 😍 booster bundles are pretty much the only way I go now. Good video as always!

So excited for the Alakazam alt art. I PC Alakazam and glad he finally gets an alt art and it’s such a great fun art compared to his other intimidating ones. Can’t wait to get it but will wait til prices go down for sure lol.

Opened 22 packs last night and got a god pack of the Blastoise line. Pretty cool experience, but otherwise my pulls were trash.
There are all 3 birds on the Zapdos card though. I like this card very much.
You're the same as me when it comes to liking the illustration rares. I also love the ones with lot of details that's why Alakazam and Venusaur are my favorites,
In general I'm not a fan of the full art cards in this set. They somehow seem flat and a bit boring to me.
I am 100 percent going to buy this set to open. I am going to wait because it think rushing into buying it makes no sense. I see it selling out and getting a restock numerous times so I should be fine. Gonna try and get the entire collection of 151.

excited for this set first set since evolving skies that im planning on buying several products of and actually collect every set since evolving skies i have just bought an etb of and not much else but this set looks too good to not open packs of and collect
I've never got Pokémon (or and) cards. I was a kid when they first came out and loved the gameboy games but didn't bother with the cards cos was too poor to be buying cards 😂. But my mate who has always collected cards (all kinds) showed me this set and i had to get it. I got the binder set and 2 etb boxes, got some cool cards but from this list ive only got is the Zapdos Ex one. But my friends FRIEND got the illustrated bulb/ivy and venisaur in one pack.

I think if they turned that charizard FA ex into a shiny card in a future set it would go so crazy and be better than the hidden fates shiny Zard

@@oldmanjake6541 damn, im only like 30-40 packs in and already got the charizard/charmeleon art rare, Both versions of Erika's, the pikachu art rare, the wartortle art rare, and 2 Tangela art rares. My roommate also pulled the charizard and pikachu arts. To me the set has great pull rates.

After opening up a booster box I usually keep like 5-10 cards an throw out about 350ish cards seems like a waste an Pokémon knows it
Is there anywhere legit we can get the 151 sleeves that come with the ETB but on their own
So my target had the ETBs a day early. Picked one up and got 1 SAR, 1 AR, 1 Full Art, 1 Gold, and 2 energy foils, the snorlax promo and my SAR was the charizard!! :) So idk if I got really lucky opening my first packs but that's what I got. Good luck and I will bless you all with my pack luck!

Opened 63 packs and got plenty of hits. I think there’s just batching, so you could just as easily strike out. It should balance out in the end. I got two full art Erika’s, 1 SIR Erika, 1 SIR Giovanni, 1 Gold Mew, 4 IRs, 1 Full Art ex, 6 regular ex

It’s better this way… I prefer demand over the alternative of no one wanting the set, cards have zero value and clearance self in a year

I love that Erika's Invitation is such a popular card. Something about her representation just feels like a foundational concept for the Pokemon series. Erika is very much a lady, she's surrounded by ladies, she dresses in a kimono, and she's shown raising rare plants in a greenhouse. This is something that people do in the real world-- especially for flower arrangement (ikebana), also associated with ladies, and with tea ceremony, where ikebana are displayed. It's like Game Freak's employees knew someone like this in real life and they were the inspiration for Erika, and also for the idea that there are Pokemon for people to raise and befriend everywhere and in all walks of life. This card just seems like a portal between the real world and the Pokemon world and I'd be surprised if there weren't an interesting backstory to it!

Mew ex isn’t a part of English 151. Both Mew and mewtwo will be a part of the 151 UPC.

See the thing is a harder pull rate benefits collectors. Easy pulls rates means the card prices are gonna be so low to the point where if you pull some of these hype cards its not as exciting because so many others have pulled it.

zapdose, erika invitation, and venusaur are wayyy better cards by a long shot. charizard is cool and all but the art isnt that great infact i prefer obsidian flames art more. blastoise art was kinda wack too
